My first time here today and was able to get right in.. customer service was great.. I got a basic gel pedicure with a french tip and this is how my feet look.. i didn't realize paying $65/$70 for a pedicure meant lackluster results.. clean location, friendly service but i won't be back.. make sure you do a thorough check of your heels before leaving.. I spent $120 with tip here and can't believe I need to go to my regular place to get the skin of my feet cared for properly
Came the day of EDCLV and Michelle was my artist. I came in with a completely different design choice as my preference is typically nude/white, clean looking. But talking with Michelle and she encouraged me to try something new for the festival! We settled on Silver Cat Eye since my outfit is primarily black and white. At first I was iffy but I'm glad I trusted the process! This gel-x set definitely pulls the look together. If you're in the area, please go see Michelle!
Ok so I was in a time crunch to get a manicure same day. I called and they said they could take me in in about an hour - I said thanks but I need to get in sooner. We hang up and I revived a call back a few minutes later saying I can come in right away. Great I was happy I could come in. The lady that did my nails was very very nice! They offer snacks and drinks. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she says ok no problem! I had to ask her multiple times to make it pink since I wanted a French. She eventually got it right. When it came down to having to pay she awkwardly stood by me as I was waiting. I paid, tipped and left. As much as I appreciate them fitting me in, my nails don't look great. My nails were pretty long however I did want to cut them down. I asked for the last picture and this is what I got

Her charming husband was also there, and was engaging in conversations with the clients as they were having their nails done which I thought was awesome. I was initially planning to just get a solid colour for my hands, but when Kelly asked if I wanted a design, I thought sure why not. I pulled up a random design from a quick google search and showed it to Kelly to ask if she would be able to do it. Not only was she able to, she totally nailed it! I am obsessed with my nails! It's been a few weeks since I got them done, and they still look just like they did on the first day (aside from nail growth that can't be helped). I can't wait to come back and have Kelly do my nails again!

The massage and hand lotion to soften my hands and nails were nice. Not greesey or foul smelling like some other shops who use the cheapest lotions. Definitely will be coming back, you can also grab some Hawaiian food next door and get a haircut at the barber next to the shop. Plenty of parking, and plenty of spots open so waiting is almost none. I did a walk-in without any appointments made and was in and out in less than an hour. If your in the neighborhood or surrounding area, give JK Nails a shot!
I need someone to make this make sense for me how the hell does this inspo pic turn out like this like wtf. The only difference that was supposed to happen was the color- example my goal was the same shape the same same length, only difference is the color- I wanted blood red base with gold lining and black heart! Places the acrylic and the cuts were horrendous he cut wayyyyy to much and he knew it, instead of taking it off he kept going and I asked him like twice, I'm gonna fix it ya I cut to much, ya I cut to much. If you cannot do the shape, then say then say that! First cuts it so much that the fingers appear they are shifting to the left to the right nothing about this is straight nor the shape I asked for. Add more dip and now we've gone to whatever shape he first came up with to now a flat oval like my grandmother, I have like three different shapes happening on my fingers. The fact that businesses have the fking audacity just because a customer is not about to fight you on this shit and just come to the public and bitch about it, is the action that I will pursue because just because you don't have integrity to not charge me full price for this garbage work, Does not mean that I don't have integrity to pay what I'm asked to pay for garbage work. However I will come on this platform where I FOUND you and relay my experience! 70 dollars later looks like fake press on crap nails and even the press on would look better then this crap!

Update as of Jan 2026 I had gone to Michele for a while and loved her work. Everything she had done by choosing an appropriate color to listening my needs and whys of the length and shape was great. I then get unfortunate news that she will no longer be at this salon so when I finally went in for a long over due fill (because I was waiting for Michele to back into town) I ended up having someone else do my nails. I can't remember her name. She was friendly but felt as if she didn't really listen. She curved my nails inwards a bit which now caused both my thumb nails to curve inwards even more so and in pain with pressure. I have never experienced this before. I'm very sad to see someone I went to leave but I support in whatever makes her happy. I just don't know about coming back as a client myself here because of the curving situation with my nails. read more

Went in for a basic French pedicure and left with no paint on the tips of my big toe nails. Returned to have it fixed and the same woman redid them to look even worse. Was not worth my time to ask her to redo them for a third time, when clearly this is not her specialty. Photos are from both attempts. read more
