Purchased some shoes over the years. This time the sales people were unwelcomely. Manager/owner walked by me and gave me the cold shoulder. Very unfriendly. Brill Shoes is selective who they serve my personal experience was horrible the two female owners were crude,rude and they weren't customer friendly my skin color I believe made a difference my husband and myself aren't white we observed that that their white customers were treated with respect and they gave them support with their shoe purchase basically if your white you will receive from these two female employees good service. so I call at 215 pm and ask, do you have a 9m insole for a sas shoes, my response , was yes we have one.... cool, so i drive to the pit of san bernardino, literally off of del rosa in san bernardino , which is ok if you running a legit business I will gladly pay 25 to 30 bucks for my 165 sas shoes inserts..... So i show up at 445pm and heres how my experience went.... " hi can i help you?" yes i wanted to get a 9m insole for my sas shoe :) , clerk says "just one moment please"" good so far right? :) , she promptly returns and says, well looks like we dont have any , we can order them for you... I said aww man i just called about a hour ago and you said you had 1 in stock.... the lady promptly replied "well your not our only customer".... Let me tell you .... great response to be given by a employee or possible owner, in a bankrupt city.... well you lost my business due to rudeness, good luck in the struggling area you are in, your not gonna be here much longer with that additude. I called and they had my size, $195.00 w/tx. I then Googled and found that Brill's Shoes also had them instock. They were $175.00 due to a sale. I called the SAS store to match their own direct price with Brill's (authorized dealer) price and they could not. I went down to Brill's of course, got greeted, got sized, learned a few things about shoe accessories and Crystal was professional and knowledgeable the whole way through. What a terrible experience. I went in looking for new work shoes and was told I had "come to the right place." I was optimistic going in thinking that a store specializing in work shoes would have a large selection. Unfortunately There was maybe 15 options for men including sandals. I picked a pair I liked, none in my size. I picked another, none in my size. I wear a 9M that is a common shoe size I can't imagine why they would not have any. After they did not have my size the clerk did not offer me any other options she just said she could order some. I can order shoes online, the point in going to a store that specializes in something is so you can try it before you buy it. The concept of going to a brick and mortar store is to walk out with your purchase. I was so excited going in but came out very disappointed. read more

This is a relative dinosaur!!! An actual SHOE STORE. They know how to evaluate feet in order to get the best fit possible. I get shoes and inserts several times a year. My SO has foot problems. She wants to walk for her health but the shoes she had were causing her pain. When she tried on the proper shoe the change in her gait was immediately obvious. After two steps she took off. She was more balanced and confident in her steps. A few days later, we went walking/shopping. She noted that usually her feet were screaming to have the shoes off while in the FIRST store. We went to 2 other places before returning home. She observed that this was the first time in recent history that the only pain she had was from the muscles not used to the exercise. The prices may be "high" until you realize they provide SERVICE you cannot get other places. In addition, many of their prices are the SAME or LESS than you can find online. We went during their annual Anniversary Sale (10 to 15% off ). The sale lasts for all of July. I requested a PokeStop for them but not sure if that was implemented. read more

Don't bother, the owner Barry was mean& rude. Pointing his finger in my mothers face. I recently visited the store to pick up several pairs of shoes for my 84 yr old mother who had bought and had adjusted to her feet. After waiting an additional 35 min after our appointment time we were helped by the young man who does the altering. He tried on her shoes, he was very patient with her until she had to use the bathroom. At that point he left to help others. Mom had to wait another 20 min for him to return only after I asked. He finished and left all her shoes scattered on the floor, I had to rebox all the shoes. When we asked about other shoes she had ordered the owner came over pointing his finger in moms face saying he mailed her shoes and she needed to go home and find them. The assistant manager came over, Tanya and was very nice, gave us her card and asked us to please call if we found the shoes. I asked to see the receipt, another 30 minute wait. Shellisa noticed we had another pair of shoes which we had paid for and did not receive. She gave us a refund. Both ladies were exceptional. The owner will never see us again. read more
