I love Guys Pizza. It is my go-to pizza spot in Kent. I am not a big pizza fan but when I am in the mood, I go to Guys. Plus, during the day, I love their salads. It is a pretty small spot and there isn't really any room to sit, but it's good to either grab a slice or two or even a box to take home. A box is about $12. It is always super busy at night because a lot of people go there after a night out. There is always a line out of the door. But, it usually doesn't take too long. The service is always quick and efficient even though it's always super busy. It is usually a quick interaction with the staff because you order from a window that connects to the kitchen. read more

I ordered a cheese slice, same as my husband. I was handed mine first, my initial thought was ." Hmm that's small!" Then my husband was handed a piece twice as large! I said , " hey mines really small" , as I was adding Parmesan cheese because I wanted more cheese. The guy working said" yeah, I cut that pizza wrong, but you already put cheese on your piece so I can't fix it". WHAT! you admit you screwed up , but don't care! We drove here from Barberton hoping for some good food. While I was eating my pasta, which I was so excited for, I seen a longer black/brown hair. I got grossed out and threw it back in the bag to throw away. Then, I decided to try and eat a piece of pizza because obviously what I ordered was ruined. Terrible, so terrible that I never even ended up placing an order. As soon as I called, the worker was immediately being rude and literally unpleasant. I always go out of my way to be exceptionally nice to everyone because nobody deserves to be treated badly, but it killed me to do so this time. I ordered for the first time through Doordash. I was totally satisfied with the pepperoni and sausage Guyzone (calzone). The crust had crisp edges and fluffy insides, and the proportion of ingredients was great. I have never written a review for anything but I was very disappointed in guys pizza tonight. I have always loved them and they are definitely my first choice for pizza but today I was told my pizza would be done by a certain time and when I went to pick it up they kept pushing back the time and I didn't end up getting my pizza until forty minutes later. That wasn't the issue because I understand they only had two workers and it was a busy night. My issue was that I ordered a singular pizza and side of breadsticks that took over an hour to make and the pizza was completely burnt and instead of the breadsticks we got a random side. If I am going to be waiting that much longer for a fairly small order I would appreciate if it was not burnt and the actual correct order. read more

Great pizza and the fact that they deliver to Brimfield gets them even a better ranking! Its a MUST to get the BIG NEW YORKER, its so big you have to tilt the box to get it in the doors lol. At least try it once! Love the fact you can get a slice of pie and a drink for cheap and get it quick. I feel the need to counterbalance the super high ratings for this place. I was mislead and thought this was the classic hole in the wall pizzeria. Don't get me wrong, it IS a hole in the wall, but they don't make up for it with their menu. I placed my order online and requested banana peppers and extra cheese. When I opened the box they had mistaken banana peppers for jalapeno peppers. I was already on the road to my next destination and couldn't turn around. If I could describe this pizza I would say it's pretty close to manufactured pizza from a Pizza Hut or Papa John's. I wish I had read Krystal's review because "meh" is spot on. The 2-star review for these guys is well deserved. My daughter goes to medical school and ordered pizza on my AMEX. When they said the delivery time would be 1.5 hours, she cancelled. They still charged my AMEX card $32.98. I have called and emailed them but they refuse to either refund the money or send her some more food. They had a real attitude toward me on the phone. My go to pizza place in Kent and Cuyahoga Falls. Be warned, their delivery time is horrifyingly long, but all in all they let you know beforehand and it just makes the good taste that much better haha. Guyzones are a must with extra cheese and if you grab a pizza, their gyro meat is delicious. If you're in restaurant, they have $1 slices as a special and are great when you're roaming downtown Kent or doing a bar crawl. read more

I give this place a big "MEH." I've had their pizza at many events and have tried the plain cheese, veggie, and pepperoni. All left me disappointed. The crust is way too thick and doughy, which would be okay if they counterbalanced it with a healthy smattering of toppings, but they don't.. There's hardly any cheese and they skimp on the veggies. The sauce tastes like processed goop from a can. I am interested in perhaps sampling one of their specialty pizzas. This place has good food when it's done right. I just recently ordered a full sheet pizza for my moms birth day party. I ordered extra cheese and they ended up putting so much cheese on the pizza that it didn't even cook. The amount of cheese was a half inch in some areas. I won't give this a 5 star rating only because I've never experienced their delivery service. What I have experienced is their $1/slice pizza at 1am. And that is probably the best pizza I've ever had (other than Luigi's in Akron but that's another story). They had pizza already made but it wasn't hard or cold from sitting out too long. The pizza is decent enough. One star is due to the terrible delivery service. Over an hour and they deliver a cold pizza. After a $2.50 delivery charge and a $2 tip (paid online) you'd think they'd be able to get it here quicker than that. With all the pizza options in Kent, I'd think they would actually try. read more
