Anyone who knows me knows that I frequently lament (complain, gripe, bi$%h) to anyone who will listen about the dearth of cute boys clothes available in kids stores. The girls section is always full of glitter and tutus while the boys section is tucked in a corner with a few ugly blue shirts and onesies. But not at Janie & Jack. The store devotes equal square footage to boys and girls selections with a boys area full of some of the most adorable outfits that I've ever seen. I was seriously about to purchase everything they had in my child's size but after my sanity returned, I walked out of the store with a nice ensemble for my baby to wear to church. A must visit for all mommies with boys.

I went home and looked at items online and realized that the prices were actually lower in the store as they were marked down for the end of the season. So the next day I went back up to the store and the items I was looking at were no longer on the floor and I was like dang those were so gorgeous they all sold out. But then I asked the kind lady about those items and she said that they had taken them off the floor and were packing them up to be shipped off but if I wanted to see any of them she would very happily go back and grab them for me. And she did I waffled over what sizes to get and ended up buying multiple ones. Some of the sizes they didn't have in the store but she kindly ordered them off the Internet for me and had them shipped to my home for free. I'm so happy with my purchase. The quality of these clothes is top of the line and the design is exquisite. One thing I noticed feeling all the materials of the clothes is that they are all nice quality materials, beautiful looking AND comfortable. I'm so against other brands that make dressy baby clothes out of cheap materials that are uncomfortable and scratchy. That was not the case in the store all made from fine comfy materials. I only bought clothes from the girls section but I was so amazed at all the beautiful boy closed. Next time I have a boy to buy for I will hit up the shop.

I had questions about colors and mixing things and she provided her thoughts which was great. I needed someone to bounce my ideas off of. When I received the item it was damaged. I called in to process the return and replacement. A few days later I called to check on the item and was told the new one would not be sent until the damaged item was received back at their warehouse but if it was sent the next day, I would still receive the new toy chest 4 to 9 days before my granddaughter's birthday. I called again a few days later. Spoke with a lady who apologized for the delay. She said they had received the item but that my money was in process of being returned and my replacement had been cancelled (she didn't know why). I would simply need to purchase again online. She provided a 15% discount for the trouble and promised that I would receive it in time for my granddaughter's first birthday if I ordered that day. I went online to order the item and the personalization color is not available. All I got after another hour on the phone was apologies, my refund was just issued the same day and that they can't help and don't know when the personalization color would be available. I am now 9 days from my first grandchild's first birthday and don't have a gift. Poor communication, inaccurate information from different associates and even the manager had no additional information or assistance. PBK has lost me as a customer.

I am a 9-year shopper and 8-year consigner at Divine Consign, I have SO MANY GREAT THINGS to say…read moreabout it and I ALWAYS recommend it to others! I actually came on here to write this review after seeing that their overall rating isn't as great as I think it should be! PROS: --You can find almost ANYTHING here, relating to kids/babies!! SO OFTEN I find things that I had been eyeing at Target or elsewhere, and now I get to snag them for a fraction of the price! --I ALWAYS, and I mean ALWAYS score great steals of deals when I shop here. If I shop Saturday night as a consigner, I find items priced TO SELL QUICK and I see to it that they are SOLD QUICK--to me!! :) If I wait and shop on discount days, I find things that were hoping to sell at a higher price were passed over by the masses, so now they're HALF OFF or more, so take 50 or 75 percent OFF of 75 percent off retail. It's SO FUN, like a treasure hunt, to find things! ALWAYS worth my drive over. --Organization of items gets better and better. With the incentive to volunteer working at the sale, there are tons of volunteers to organize board games in ABC order, group books by type and series and topic, and keep all the toys grouped together for easy shopping. Keeps getting better! --Quality for the most part is top-notch. Compared to the other consignment sales in the area, there are FAR fewer disappointments when I take clothes to the inspection table and check for hidden stains. --Selection, especially on Saturday/Sunday, is excellent, especially in puzzles/games, clothes, and books. The earlier the better for good shoes. CONS: --As a shopper, the fee to use credit card --As a consigner, the tighter and tighter restrictions on what can be sold, etc. I guess it's how they're perfecting the sale as the years go by (and I KNOW they have their reasons, it's not just arbitrary), and apparently with the number of consigners it's working out for them to tighten things up, but I'm disappointed each year with the new, more restrictive rules, like limiting # of books, limiting # of accessories, completely stopping to accept certain things that have been there for years). --As a consigner, I wish the cost to consign didn't keep going up. Besides the 30% fee already going to the DC owners, it used to be like $5-10 flat fee PER 100 items, but now that's PER 50 items. -- For those considering consigning: It is A LOT OF WORK to Consign here! I love doing it and I love getting that check rather than just donating all my daughter's stuff, but I'm certainly not making minimum wage doing it, considering the HOURS of prepping, entering in the computer, cutting tags, pinning and taping items, boxing them up, then physically loading and unloading them to put them on the sales floor. It's a piece of work I tell ya! It worked well for me when I was a stay-at-home mom of a baby/toddler/preschooler. But it's not for the faint of heart, and not for the full time working mommas, I wouldn't think!

Other sales permit obviously stained items, it is Rare to find a stained item at this sale. If you do, hand it to an employee or drop it in the basket and they remove it. Checkout is easy, you do get a bit of a discount if you pay cash. Check the website for the size of wagon you can bring, they sell IKEA style bags, and to see which days kids are permitted, which days are 50% and 75%!

My granddaughter had a private birthday party scheduled for her and a few of her friends. It was an amazing experience! She and her friends loved it!! Me too!! The party coordinators/servers did an excellent job taking care of us and keeping the party on schedule for the 1 1/2 hour timeframe. They started by letting everyone know the schedule of events- a small craft, a couple of games, appetizers, lunch entree and a birthday cake! The craft and a few other items were included in the party favor bags. Thank you American Girl Place for making our Birthday Girl feel so special! She'll remember this day forever!

Being our 4th time back what sticks me most is the dramatic inconsistency. One year great the next a mess. This year the service was very slow. We did not get our cinnamon roles until after entrees were served. We did the add in Birthday Pack. They did not have the crowns for the girls or dolls. The cake was tiny. We did not even get 5 small pieces; last year 6 of us each had a piece with leftovers. Food was good and there is a good selection. Unfortunately my chicken and waffles was cold as was my granddaughter's Mac n cheese. Overall my granddaughter had a very good time but as an adult I found the experience disappointing with the slow service, inconsistent attention to refills and time between things. Also had to ask waitress multiple times for most things. The Birthday add on was skimpy and not worth $. Lunch price is very expensive for children reasonable for adults.

After doing a ton of research, we landed on the Joovy Zoom 360 Ultralight stroller with the Graco infant carrier attachment. This stroller was a good price point in the stroller market, especially given that it has inflatable tires, a single swivel front wheel, and a large carrying basket for all of the little one's things (and ours, too!). It has literally gone with us around the world. It is easy to fold up and take apart to go through airport security checkpoints as a gate check item. It turns with little effort or resistance. Whether you're running to catch a flight, strolling through the bumpy dirt and potholed roads of Madagascar, or going for an easy stroll through the zoo, this stroller can handle it all.

I'm using the junk , my real opinion would not be allowed.the first attempt at assembly went on for hours. Watching videos Showing how easy the assembly is and getting nowhere. We stopped to get some rest and go back fresh in the morning. Several more hours and suddenly it was assembled. I had no idea how. This is the point we realized we had assembled it in the living room and we needed it in a bedroom. No problem, the thing was too wide to fit though a standard doorway. No matter what angle you turn it, no way. So we watched the disassemble videos zip zip and it's folded "NOT". Folding it is the same frustrating sweating and cursing experience. Finally we got it to the point where it was narrow enough to fit. There it sat until the Holidays were over. This thing is wide and takes up a lot of space. My wife decided we should store it for now. Long story short, it went out with the garbage in the narrowest, contorted shape we could manage. It's false advertising to call this piece of crap portable. You could use it as a anchor for a boat but it probably floats. These are not cheap. Stay away you will live longer and stay married.
