We rented a full-size crib and a high chair that needed to be delivered to an Airbnb around all our schedules and flight times. Products were like new and very clean. Made our stay with a baby much easier. Prices were quite reasonable too. You can't go wrong with bringthebaby.com.

I was scrambling and in rapid-react mode. The competitor did me a solid and referred me to Bring the Baby, so I put that iron in the fire as I ran down the list of options. Sure enough, they got back to me. The lady representing Bring the Baby, Amy, called to inform me that she had what I needed in stock and after some discussion about pickup, I was able to coordinate two carseats to be where I needed them the next day. Bring the Baby saved not only my ass from Daddy Failure, but my family from a boatload of hassle, my checkbook from about $500 worth of car rental, and my sanity from a not-at-all-insignificant amount of self-chastisement. Pickup was a cinch thanks to clever and detailed directions. Drop-off was even easier, and the price was very agreeable. My hat is off to Amy and Bring the Baby. Find them at www.bringthebaby.com

I am a 9-year shopper and 8-year consigner at Divine Consign, I have SO MANY GREAT THINGS to say…read moreabout it and I ALWAYS recommend it to others! I actually came on here to write this review after seeing that their overall rating isn't as great as I think it should be! PROS: --You can find almost ANYTHING here, relating to kids/babies!! SO OFTEN I find things that I had been eyeing at Target or elsewhere, and now I get to snag them for a fraction of the price! --I ALWAYS, and I mean ALWAYS score great steals of deals when I shop here. If I shop Saturday night as a consigner, I find items priced TO SELL QUICK and I see to it that they are SOLD QUICK--to me!! :) If I wait and shop on discount days, I find things that were hoping to sell at a higher price were passed over by the masses, so now they're HALF OFF or more, so take 50 or 75 percent OFF of 75 percent off retail. It's SO FUN, like a treasure hunt, to find things! ALWAYS worth my drive over. --Organization of items gets better and better. With the incentive to volunteer working at the sale, there are tons of volunteers to organize board games in ABC order, group books by type and series and topic, and keep all the toys grouped together for easy shopping. Keeps getting better! --Quality for the most part is top-notch. Compared to the other consignment sales in the area, there are FAR fewer disappointments when I take clothes to the inspection table and check for hidden stains. --Selection, especially on Saturday/Sunday, is excellent, especially in puzzles/games, clothes, and books. The earlier the better for good shoes. CONS: --As a shopper, the fee to use credit card --As a consigner, the tighter and tighter restrictions on what can be sold, etc. I guess it's how they're perfecting the sale as the years go by (and I KNOW they have their reasons, it's not just arbitrary), and apparently with the number of consigners it's working out for them to tighten things up, but I'm disappointed each year with the new, more restrictive rules, like limiting # of books, limiting # of accessories, completely stopping to accept certain things that have been there for years). --As a consigner, I wish the cost to consign didn't keep going up. Besides the 30% fee already going to the DC owners, it used to be like $5-10 flat fee PER 100 items, but now that's PER 50 items. -- For those considering consigning: It is A LOT OF WORK to Consign here! I love doing it and I love getting that check rather than just donating all my daughter's stuff, but I'm certainly not making minimum wage doing it, considering the HOURS of prepping, entering in the computer, cutting tags, pinning and taping items, boxing them up, then physically loading and unloading them to put them on the sales floor. It's a piece of work I tell ya! It worked well for me when I was a stay-at-home mom of a baby/toddler/preschooler. But it's not for the faint of heart, and not for the full time working mommas, I wouldn't think!

Easily the cleanest, stain free, trendiest kids resale in Dallas. I'm not sure why they don't extend to Austin and Dallas. No cover charge but there are some rules to attending. Other sales permit obviously stained items, it is Rare to find a stained item at this sale. If you do, hand it to an employee or drop it in the basket and they remove it. Checkout is easy, you do get a bit of a discount if you pay cash. Check the website for the size of wagon you can bring, they sell IKEA style bags, and to see which days kids are permitted, which days are 50% and 75%!

When I received the item it was damaged. I called in to process the return and replacement. A few days later I called to check on the item and was told the new one would not be sent until the damaged item was received back at their warehouse but if it was sent the next day, I would still receive the new toy chest 4 to 9 days before my granddaughter's birthday. I called again a few days later. Spoke with a lady who apologized for the delay. She said they had received the item but that my money was in process of being returned and my replacement had been cancelled (she didn't know why). I would simply need to purchase again online. She provided a 15% discount for the trouble and promised that I would receive it in time for my granddaughter's first birthday if I ordered that day. I went online to order the item and the personalization color is not available. All I got after another hour on the phone was apologies, my refund was just issued the same day and that they can't help and don't know when the personalization color would be available. I am now 9 days from my first grandchild's first birthday and don't have a gift. Poor communication, inaccurate information from different associates and even the manager had no additional information or assistance. PBK has lost me as a customer.

My little sister likes Jellycats and I wanted to surprise her so I looked online for stores nearby…read morethat sell them in-person I ended up driving about 45 minutes to buy them in person here. Come to find out after she opened them that she had others she'd rather get and no one else in our house really cares for them so I went to return them but I double-checked their website to make sure they accept returns since it was a local store and I didn't want to waste a trip. The website says they do so I drove another 45 minutes to take them back. Get in the store...and they definitely accept returns... for store credit or exchange "only". So no cash returns. The cashier motioned to some out of the way picture on the side wall that states you can only return for store credit. Some advice to offer: It would be a better idea to put it where customers can actually see it like most stores with alternate return policies do (like on the checkout counter or mentioning it during checkout/making the policy clear that there are no cash returns) so they can make the decision for themselves if they'd still like to shop. Had I known I at least would have double-checked with my sister beforehand or wouldn't have shopped there at all. I don't have any family that young and I don't collect Jellycats so I have no use for the stuffed animals or the store credit. I just wasted $70 and gas...on a situation that could have been avoided with better transparancy. If I wanted to donate $70 I'd have given it to a cause that actually needed it this season. Do better.

My granddaughter had a private birthday party scheduled for her and a few of her friends. It was an amazing experience! She and her friends loved it!! Me too!! The party coordinators/servers did an excellent job taking care of us and keeping the party on schedule for the 1 1/2 hour timeframe. They started by letting everyone know the schedule of events- a small craft, a couple of games, appetizers, lunch entree and a birthday cake! The craft and a few other items were included in the party favor bags. Thank you American Girl Place for making our Birthday Girl feel so special! She'll remember this day forever!

Today we took my 7 yr old granddaughter to American Girls Cafe in Dallas for her Birthday lunch…read more This has become a tradition we started when she turned 4. Being our 4th time back what sticks me most is the dramatic inconsistency. One year great the next a mess. This year the service was very slow. We did not get our cinnamon roles until after entrees were served. We did the add in Birthday Pack. They did not have the crowns for the girls or dolls. The cake was tiny. We did not even get 5 small pieces; last year 6 of us each had a piece with leftovers. Food was good and there is a good selection. Unfortunately my chicken and waffles was cold as was my granddaughter's Mac n cheese. Overall my granddaughter had a very good time but as an adult I found the experience disappointing with the slow service, inconsistent attention to refills and time between things. Also had to ask waitress multiple times for most things. The Birthday add on was skimpy and not worth $. Lunch price is very expensive for children reasonable for adults.
