Lamb with Alfredo! The lamb was amazing, just slightly salty.

Don't come here expecting to make it a quick meal, even during lunch service. Expect that you'll be here for a bare minimum of 1.5 hrs, if your party is small. And don't expect to hardly get checked on. Came during a weekday for lunch and they seem to be understaffed. Our waiter did his best but he appeared stretched thin. We was waiting several tables stretched all across the restaurant. And every table was full for the lunch service. Food was great, as usual. Always love the pasta a la vodka and their salmon Fresca is what I usually come for. The lamb is over priced but really good when done right. We have had 1 incident where the lamb was not flavorful.

We came here for my birthday before a movie. It was probably poor planning on our part not giving ourselves more time, but we did have a reservation and still ended up waiting a long time. My husband requested a quieter or more private area, and he let them know it was for my birthday. But we were seated in the general loud area next to kids heading to a sweetheart dance. And they didn't do anything special for my birthday. Our server whose name I don't remember wasn't very happy or friendly. He was actually a little bit curt and seemed put out to be there--maybe a bad day? He was straight up rude to the kids at the table next to us, too. We got the Truffle Garlic Toast with Ricotta, which was fine. My wedge salad was really good. I ordered the Gorgonzola Cream Campanelle. The pasta was really tender and good, but otherwise I just felt like it wasn't worth the price point. Honestly, with the wait, the lack of attention to a special occasion, the price we paid, and just the hassle factor of Fashion Place, I don't know if I'd come back.

Food was completely burned. Couldn't get ahold of waiter to get check and get out for more than 30 minutes after finishing. Won't be back. These are their "medium" lamb chops.

I went on a Monday evening, it was very quaint and not crowded, they make sure to seat you spread out, I enjoyed that! The food was delicious. I ordered a lasagna and my friend got the pasta brio. Both great plates. A TAD bit pricey for the entrée alone, but nothing crazy. The bathroom needs just a slight scrub down, the tiles just don't look good. Otherwise everything was great! I loved our server. My friend and I had a lot of catching up to do and she allowed us all the time do chat! We had a little ice cream dessert, french vanilla scoop w some strawberries placed on top. I would def come here again!

I came here with a group of women for Galentine's Day. My friend reserved a table for 25 and each of us paid $35 to cover the cost of food, taxes and tip. I paid $35 for unlimited coffee in which I only had 1 cup since they were really busy with other tables outside of our large party. I ordered their berry French toast thinking it was all sorts of berries when it was just strawberry. The French toast tasted like any other ones I've had before. I was hoping that it would different or have some sort of pizazz to it. The mimosa was an extra cost and it was just ok. We asked the server to take our photo and she asked for extra tip. I understand when the server is trying to be comical and friendly, but it wasn't good timing. The girls haven't had their coffees refilled yet, some people were done eating before their food came out, it was a hot mess. The food and experience wasn't worth the prepay cost. I can't believe I paid $35 for mediocre French toast and a cup of coffee. I don't normally dine here, and most likely won't be returning.

Pasta Alla Vodka- pretty good. A tad spicy.

Came here for a cute dinner date with my daughter. She got the kids Mac n cheese and I got the pasta a la vodka, I also added a Caesar salad. The Caesar isn't anything special, for an additional $7 to add to a meal, I would skip it next time. It wasn't bad, it just wasn't great. I think adding shaved Parmesan rather than grated would bump up the delicious factor. My daughter loved her meal, rigatoni and Alfredo basically. I enjoyed my meal as well. The pasta alla vodka had little pouch like raviolis. They were filled with a ricotta mixture and topped with vodka sauce and crispy pancetta (although mine felt more like crispy prosciutto, both are delicious). The sauce was a tad spicier than I expected, but not super spicy. I could still eat it just fine but my head was warm after finishing. I usually am okay with about a mild-medium spice level for reference. The service was good, nothing great nor anything bad, just run of the meal staff. I would go here again. FYI- their lasagna is outstanding! I've had it here previously and loved it. I never order lasagna anywhere but I crave theirs.

We had a girls night dinner here and had a candle vendor (Candles Utah) come setup a beautiful candle centerpiece and Brio was so kind to allow us to do so! It set the perfect vibe for the evening paired with amazing food and drinks including the Delicious Ravioli & Chicken and Spinach fettuccine was some of the best fettuccine!

Food lacked flavor. Soda was watered down. Service was fine. Ambiance was nice but didn't compensate for poor food flavor.

"Don't worry honey, it's okay to look, and also throw money at the half-naked women! I promise you won't get in trouble!" Uh-huh. ;) Alright, I digress. Awkwardness aside, Prohibition is a really great place to enjoy a classy dinner, where the meat is served on a place AND on stage, and the cheesecake comes with the price of admission! Speaking of admission, as my wife and I were guests, being shepherded along by our friend, I cannot recall exactly what the "cover charge" was (not much, if I remember correctly...less than $20 for two?), and if reservations are *required*, I cannot say for certain, but I would say they are *recommended* at the very least, because our showtime was packed. Anyway, once paid, you are escorted through a secret bookcase door (SLC residents sure do love their speakeasies, don't they?), and into the dining hall and saloon, where you're soon to have your socks knocked off...well, someone's clothes are coming off, anyway! We were given a table that I dismissively thought was tucked away pretty far in the back and out of the way, but it ended up being one of the best seats in the house, as the table where the performers gathered, prepped, and returned to was just adjacent to us, so we were about as up close and personal as you can get, without getting yourselves arrested. Each of the dancers brought their own style, flair, and wardrobe to their performances, which were spirited and energetic, and a touch racy, without devolving into outright debauchery. It may be an (18+? 21+?) venue, but alcohol restrictions aside, I wouldn't hesitate to take older, more mature teens to a show with similar content. We ordered a smattering of smaller dishes, as we weren't particularly hungry, but the Mishima Wagyu tacos were fantastic (as you would expect), as was the Fedora Fin (Za'atar-crusted ahi tuna), and all of our cocktails. As the show is timed event with multiple performances per night, both food and bev are fired out of the kitchen/bar faster than the bullets from a Tommy Gun, but with far better accuracy. The whole operation here was honestly very impressive, from start to finish. Coming from a progressive city like Portland, it's always struck me a little odd that places that, by reputation, strike you as more conservative end up having some of the best, most wild entertainment venues, that you only wish you had back home. Prohibition is one of these places that I would rather see in my downtown, instead of the litany of seedy strip joints pushing for maximum titilation, but with only a fraction of the class and sophistication. Prohibition is good, clean fun, masquerading as something illicit, which is the heart of what makes it work so well.

It's gotten so bad, we thought they changed hands. When manager Joey McDowel called, I told him we already decided not to return after being almost weekly customers for over a year. Food & service changed & are no longer good. He ignored me & said since we got 2 different pepperoni pizzas that were both missing pepperoni, they couldn't make us happy & we shouldn't bother going back! I had already made it clear that after our last visit, we had no intention of going back, so there was no need for his call, but he continued by threatening me with trespass if we ever go there again! WHO THE HELL TRAINED THIS INFANTILE BABY? He must be a relative, or he'd never have this job. He is not suited & too big for his tiny little britches. My husband is furious, he's going to corporate & the owners, he couldn't believe what he heard. We're in our 70's, our son is a classically trained chef who liked the pizza here until it wasn't good, my family owned bars & restaurants for years & my husband & I have eaten our way around the world twice but have never been insulted over a pizza. We know Skackwater puts pepperoni under the cheese, it's not rocket science or anything new, but when there is ZERO pepperoni, there is ZERO pepperoni. That's not our fault; it's the fault of Slackwater & managers like Joey who only make things worse. He has 0 people skills & his threatening demeanor is concerning. He was there for the 4-hour episode, where like criminals trying to prove our innocence, we had to rip off hunks of dough & hold them up to prove pizza #1 had only sauce, no cheese, then scrap the cheese off pizza #2 to prove there was no pepperoni underneath & that was after waiting almost 2 hours for them to arrive! After that Joey offered to comp the pizzas & admitted they were having problems in the kitchen. We declined remakes because my husband was waiting at home for his dinner, we were exhausted & just wanted to go. Joey forgot to put in the to-go pizza & we waited another hour for that! No comps, but we paid & left. The to-go pizza looked like a burnt hockey puck. I called & got yet ANOTHER manager who said she'd put a gift card at the front desk that would cover our food, alcohol & something extra for the time we spent, it should have been over $100. We waited 6 weeks & went back, but no gift card. Joey stupidly let it slip that they make so many gift cards for people who never come back that they throw them away every few weeks. That said it all for me! At our revisit, we spent over an hour being interrogated by another manager, she came back 3 times asking for details. We had no time to talk, eat or relax, at one point I told her to forget the gift card, it wasn't worth the hassle. I had spent time pulling up dates, texts & pictures for her & after 2 hours she disappeared & only left us a $50 gift card, 1/2 of what we spent! Bad business. I wasn't going to fight with these people; they make lame excuses & do what they want, so we paid & left. They have no idea how to run a restaurant & apparently don't know what repeat business is worth, which is sad, because people won't keep paying for poor service & bad food. Eventually the Herriman franchise will either change hands or go under. The final straw came Saturday. Against my better judgement after being called by family members who were driving through UT & wanted to make a fast stop at our house for dinner, I called Slackwater to order pizza so they could eat & get quickly back on the road. We ordered 1 cheese, 1 Ironhorse & 1 pepperoni with extra cheese, we got other stuff, but this is about pizza. I got an Ironhorse & 2 PLAIN CHEESE pizzas! All 3 were small & burnt. When I called, I was told to look under the cheese! OMG, we get that Slackwater puts pepperoni under the cheese, we ate there almost every week for a year & told them we had done a full search of the pizza before we called, but there was ZERO pepperoni! We didn't have time to wait for another pizza, so I declined a remake. A manager got on & offered to take the pizzas off our bill. I still don't see the credit & probably never will. Joey never said let me speak to the kitchen, sorry for the 3-hour wait, sometimes when things get busy a topping or an entire order gets forgotten or even, I'm sure things will be better if you try again. NO, Joey chose instead to threaten me, so I wouldn't go there again if Joey paid me to go. There are too many places to dine in this area where we enjoy the food & service. Slackwater is closer, but we'd rather travel than come in contact with a man so unstable he thinks it's best to threaten senior citizens, than make things right when he's the one who made the mistake. After his remarks, we don't feel safe going there. If he gets fired, the kitchen & service will most likely return to normal.
