Today was the absolute most annoying and silly take out experience I have had anywhere. I placed an order for three desserts at the bar. The guy seemed to have inputted the order. After 25 minutes I asked him if he sent my order in. He laughed and said yes. Ok, well, can you check.on it. He said...Sure. Well, he poured drinks, he served drinks to patrons at the table, he got them bread, anything but letting me know about my order. The other thing is, he didn't ask for payment. I was on my phone and then realized I was there 40 minutes at this point! I was very annoyed and asked for a manager. He said welll we got busy. Um, ok, I only ordered three slices of cake. So, I told him I did not pay for it. I paid. They bring out two desserts and I waited another 5 minutes for the third. Why did I wait so long? I was having dinner with my neighbors and they like the dessert here. Ugh Well, turns out the chocolate cake I ordered was so sweet. I couldn't even eat it. Brio has always provided a different flavor profile to your basic Italian classics. Tuscany style dishes allow you to enjoy some classic favorites with a spin. Service was okay at this location but the food did take a while with serving the calamari appetizer we ordered. We were provided a warm crispy and fluffy loaf with butter while we waited. Our entree portions were huge and full of flavor. Love the decor inside and there's a large outdoor patio with a bar and plenty of tables. Nice overall for a basic Italian restaurant chain , however I think the price point is not what's expected and I found it more in the higher/pricier end that does not coincide with the quality of the dishes served. read more

My daughter and I ate here on Thanksgiving and had an amazing experience from start to finish. Reservations are definitely a must, as the restaurant was busy, but everything ran smoothly and on time. The food was absolutely delicious well seasoned, flavorful, and clearly prepared with care. Portion sizes were generous and satisfying, which made the meal feel well worth it. Every dish we ordered was enjoyable, and nothing felt rushed despite it being a holiday. The overall atmosphere and service really added to the experience. The VIBE was everything at Brio last Sunday. The DJ played the best music, she even played a few Haitian Kompa ( Carimi) songs that caught my attention and made me go over to have drinks. Saturday birthday dinner with the family. Lovely decor and family friendly ambience. The furniture and lamps remind me of Cheesecake Factory. Service was outstanding. So professional and friendly!!! Our server Gaspar, was very attentive not only to the adults but to the kids as well. Appetizer of calamari was very good and a big enough portion for 5. And the bread! With the slab of butter. So delicious. I was glad that I was able to swap my mashed for pasta with my Chicken Limone, which was very tasty and a very hearty portion. There was lobster and shrimp fettuccine, steak salad, and Grilled Salmon Fresca. All amazing. Desert of tiramisu was ok. I've had better. The warm chocolate cake was very decadent. Before our flight back to New York, we spontaneously decided to dine at Brio Italian Grille. We decided to sit outdoors although it was pouring outside. Brio has a covered outdoor space and our server was very pleasant and patient. I ordered the grilled chicken Caesar salad which was fresh and delicious. My son ordered the penne ala vodka. It was very tasty but was a slightly small serving for the price of $30. Usually, I have some to take home when I order this at restaurants but not here. PLEASE GET A PAPER TOWEL HOLDER FOR YOUR BATHROOM! The paper towel was getting wait from water on the sink and from people having to pick it up to roll paper towel off. Washing your hands and then having to pick up a roll of paper towel everyone has touched is gross! The sink area also needed to be cleaned. I was concerned about how my experience would be this time based off the yelp rating but was invited to dinner to celebrate someone so I came. My hubby and I were with a group of about 20 people. We ordered salads, flatbreads and calamari for appetizers to share. Appetizers were good except for the calamari which was too chewy, it was just okay. For our main course we each ordered our own entrees. I got the vodka pasta with chicken, hubby got the lamb. We both really enjoyed our meals. Aside from a few people getting the lamb chops, each person ordered something different. Everyone enjoyed their meals. We then got cheesecake and tiramisu. Both desserts were very good! We had a good dining experience and our waitress was great. My rating is 3 1/2 for total experience. Had A great happy hour at Brio with my favorite bartender Stacy B. Weather is a lil chilly here in So Flo. So I got some soup. Italian wedding soup. Stacy is so much fun I got to order extra balls , meatballs in my soup. Love it. great lil warm up. The warm bread and butter just yummy with hot soup on a cold SoFlo evening. It's the holidays and the place can really get busy. Just bring a lil patience and relax. This place is gross! The server (named Cleveland I think) was nice... but other than that the place is gross and dated. Felt dingy. Food was not fresh. Calamari felt like a frozen dish that was fried. Something I could've done better at home. The chicken parm was literally kids tenders with mariners sauce on top. GROSS! Brio hosted 25 of us for a class reunion on a busy Saturday night! We had our choice of lobster bisque or chopped salad as a starter. We got to choose between lobster & shrimp fettuccine, chicken limone or chicken marsala for an entree and we brought in our own desserts. One of the girls purchased 4 bottles of red wine and another purchased 2 bottles of prosecco. We had a private room for 3 hours. Our server was wonderful and very patient with us! I would highly recommend Brio for a group gathering! The only thing that brought this place down in stars was really just slow service. They barely refilled our waters and we had to ask to get our drinks before our appetizer. My favorite dish was the eggplant and shrimp and the pork chops! The pasta was also pretty good! Our bartender was nice and made a good dirty martini. This Brio seemed like a good Brunch choice- that is IF it still had Brunch- after church at nearby Calvary. Following service we drove straight over to the Shops at Pembroke Gardens headed for Brio Italian/Tuscan Grill. I was wanting Eggs Benedict. As luck would have it, a large poster setup on display at front door of Brio informed patrons it's Brunch is "back" and that Brio has the Hollandaise. Hollandaise sauce is what makes Eggs Benedict special so it seemed like a WIN-WIN. Two hostesses were at the podium (Hostess Stand) in the foyer when we walked in and the place did not seem too busy as it was a little early in the day on Sunday as church was breaking (ha ha, we did go to the last service of 3 offered). One of the hostesses walked around the dining room for a good five (5) minutes before reporting to us there are no seats currently inside, it would be over a 20 minute wait, and outdoor seating was available now. Hot as it was outdoors, we opted for outdoors. The bar, at first, looked rather inviting despite no bartender visibly stationed there when we approached. I have visited this bar many times in past. I said we wanted to sit at the bar ... I also remember saying "I hope there's a Bartender." The Hostess assured there is/was a Bartender as she headed back inside. The first place setting I tried to sit at the bar had a long Hair on it so we moved further down and around the bar. A Bartender appeared and her and another female behind the bar were enjoying bread and continued enjoying fresh bread for an extended period over nearly the next 1/2 hour as they were probably having it for breakfast and the second female even crouched down towards the ground while having hers (her breakfast while On Duty) as though hiding. Inconsistent with state health guidelines, I believe, but that is all I want to say on that. Asked the bartender whether it (Brio) had eggs Benedict but she was unsure so she asked the second female who told her "no" that is not offered here. I was a little confused on that because the "Hollandaise, Brunch is Back" poster had me thinking this was a place to eat eggs Benedict. In fact, it (Brio) does not serve eggs benedict. Being that we are creatures of habit, we got the Lobster Bisque (yes, outdoors on a hot Florida day) and called it a day. Lobster Bisque used to be much better here when it was served in a tureen (used to be so dramatic & fun) and when it was topped with a small amount of liquor. That is no longer done and it comes in a plain bowl so no real dramatic presentation anymore. The Lobster bits in the bisque seemed mushy and canned. The beverage I ordered- iced tea- had an Aftertaste to it so I gave it back asking just to drink plain water. On the way out I told staff about the hair and the person I told proceeded to pick up the hair with their bare hands. On the way out I also looked more closely at the Poster board on display which pictured 3 or 4 Brunch items. The lower item pictured was a steak brunch item with hollandaise on it. If we go back next year or if we go back to another location of Brio this year I would like to try its beef-hollandaise Brunch item ... whatever that is called does look good. I have no immediate plans to return to this location as I was a little disappointed- overall- this time. read more

The drinks weee good , got the white sangria , and order the burger from the happy hour menu but it was nothing special at all . All Brio Restaurants are not created equally! We have had many positive experiences at the Brio in Plantation so we figured Brio is great. The food is delicious, the servers are attentive and it is efficiently run...well, at least in the Plantation location with Darien at the helm. We were in Pembroke Pines last week near that Brio so figured we have a nice lunch at that Brio for a change. The hostess sat us quickly and close to the front. Unfortunately, the party at the adjacent table was very loud so we moved (before even ordering drinks). The server remained the same but seemed a bit miffed that he had to go to another section for us. He actually had somewhat of a negative edge initially but he got better by dessert. The waiter brought bread but none of those delicious crackers they always have in Plantation. There was a limited summer menu and unfortunately my favorite, the Salmon Fresca wasn't on it so cost around $30...for lunch. I asked if I could get the lunch portion (it was on the menu previously) and the manager said it wasn't possible. As it turns out it was a small portion anyway. The shrimp appetizer was spicy even though the waiter said it wasn't when specifically asked but it was still tasty. We wanted coffee and tea but the coffee machine was broken. The molten chocolate dessert was delicious...but would have been nicer with an espresso or cappuccino. Overall, lunch was mediocre which was disappointing, especially given our expectations based on Brio in Plantation. We got a neglected kind of feeling in Pembroke Pines. It was pretty empty when we arrived and left...during peak lunch hour. So if you're in the mood for Brio go to the one in Plantation or go here just set your standards a little lower. Went there to enjoy the happy hour on Wednesday evening. Our server, Holly, couldn't have been more fabulous! She was so attentive without being overbearing. I joined a friend for drinks and a light meal, which we both enjoyed from the happy hour menu. Wednesdays, all day is wine. Wednesdays were several wines are offered at seven dollars a glass. A real bargain! They have specials each day of the work week so go try it out. One thing they're not accepting anymore, which is not their fault are the INKIND Rewards. We had a $25 off reward however they did not accept it. I spoke with the manager Peter, who was extremely gracious and took a very nice portion of our bill off of our bill. We especially enjoyed the risotto, shrimp and eggplant, and mushroom ravioli. I like the Tuscany red wine I paired with the pasta as well. We went today for mother's day , we have to gonout and wait because they have too many people ,( we had a reservation) but that is ok I understand was mother's day so it is a busy day. The food was ok but one of the dishes that was supposed to be 3 filete mignon medallions it was a joke were 3 little strip of meat very small over cook even though we ask medium , we eat a left we did not complained although I told our server , but it was not worth the money , we used to go there before pandemic often and it was really good I don't know if was today but I am not would go again .
