Ben was amazing!!! I brought him a necklace with my grandmother's diamond (an heirloom) and asked him to make the diamond into an engagement ring. He looked at the diamond, took some pictures of it on my phone, and told me the sizing and talked a bit about the quality of it. He was very knowledgeable and made me feel very comfortable whilst handling a priceless heirloom. After I told him what I wanted (a solitaire setting on a yellow gold band) we discussed pricing. Being a recent graduate, I had a pretty modest budget and he completely accommodated me while still giving me a price that sustains his business. Also, he resized my gold wedding band (which he doesn't typically do) to match the size of the engagement ring. They pair together beautifully and I am absolutely thrilled with the results! I got teary eyed looking at my grandmas diamond and thinking about how this ring will be with me the rest of my life.
