Everything about our dinner was really enjoyable until the very end. We had a 7:00 reservation on a Saturday, ordered multiple rounds of drinks, a salad, and entrées, and were genuinely having a great experience. By 8:50, we had already paid and were simply finishing up our conversation when the lights were turned off before 9:00. I completely understand restaurants have closing hours, but the way it was handled felt abrupt and honestly put a sour ending on what had otherwise been a lovely evening. Hospitality and atmosphere matter just as much as the food, and unfortunately that final interaction changed the overall impression for us. read more

We enjoyed a quiet dinner at Brio, after seeing a movie across the street at Cinépolis. Our waiter was friendly and professional, he knew the menu well, and wasn't pushy about ordering the priciest menu items like many servers are. We split a Caesar salad with added anchovies. The chopped romaine had a lot of stems and pale leaves, too little green on the plate which was a little disappointing. Sole Piccata, a soft fish, was perfectly cooked with a tasty sauce, capers and colorful vegetables. As it was a Tuesday, we also had the Pasta Fromagio (sp) special which was equally delicious. I'm definitely looking forward to coming back to Brio as they have live music on Friday and Saturday nights. read more

Listen... I almost don't want to write this because I kind of want to keep it a secret. But if you come here and don't ask for Claudio, that's on you. My cousin and I stopped in (it was her birthday), and Claudio was our bartender. From the second we sat down, he was warm, funny, and just genuinely attentive without being over the top. You can tell when someone actually enjoys what they do -- that was him. Our drinks were SO good (like, the kind where you take a sip and immediately say "okayyyy"), and he gave great recommendations too. The whole vibe of the place was perfect -- great energy, cozy but still lively, and the service overall was solid. But Claudio truly made the night. He even surprised my cousin with a birthday dessert, which was such a thoughtful touch and totally made her feel special. So yeah. Had Valentine Dinner with my valentine. The food was fantastic. The environment bustling but not so loud that we couldn't talk without yelling (seems the trend is definitely the other way around). I wasn't driving so took advantage and started the evening with a Hugo Spritz that was so perfect, I almost asked it to marry me but that would have been rude to my date. Refreshing, bubbly, and slightly flirty--just like the charming waiter who brought it. Ciao, Giovanni (not really his name). Then came the calamari--lightly breaded, crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, just like Nonna used to make... if Nonna had access to industrial-grade deep fryers. Now, let's take a moment of silence for the bread roll. Warm, fluffy, and just the right amount of chewy--like a little cloud of hope delivered straight to the table. Honestly, I would've eaten ten, but I was trying to save room for the main event. Mistake. Rookie mistake. Next, he dove into the chicken parmesan, which was so dense and delicious it could've had its own gravitational pull. I went here on a Tuesday evening for a friend meet up. The vibe was nice and not too busy. I was concerned it would be loud since a lot of reviews mentioned the music made it difficult to have a conversation. Fortunately there was no live music and was fairly empty so we sat at the bar. I ordered the lemon drop martini. It was strong and pretty good. We got the happy hour shrimp cocktail and ahi tuna. Both items were small and just okay quality. Nothing really to write home about. It was interesting that they did not give me water with my drink. I only realized after i finished my drink and i had to ask for it. They gave us our check and then asked if we wanted dessert. It was all a little mixed up and backwards regarding standard restaurant service. We opted for the tiramisu which was the star of the show, truly. Exquisite. We went to Brio last Wednesday for dinner. A great venue for a great meal and great service. Our waitress, Anna, was charming, knowledgeable, and engaging. This was the second time we had her as our waitress. We had a wonderful conversation with her and she provided top notch service. She went out of her way to assure that we had a wonderful evening, gave great menu advice. Brio offers wine bottles at half price on Wednesday, allowing us to get a nice but inexpensive bottle with our dinner. We are thinking we might go back tomorrow, Tuesday, since they offer 1/2 prices pasta on Tuesday. We had gone a few weeks back and found the pasta dishes were absolutely delicious. If you haven't been to Brio, you are really missing out. read more

The calamari was crunchy but tender where you could really get a great taste combined with the mozzarella sauce. We loved and ate it faster than we wanted to. I just love Brio Tuscany Grille, Peppe, Claudio and the entire team. I happened to meet Yair outside of the restaurant at another establishment. He recognized me from Brio and we chatted. I also told him I had not been at Brio in a while as my mom passed in December and so did my Dad's wife two weeks later. He was so sincere and caring. He told me he was one of the cooks at Brio Tuscant Grille in Dana Point and he remembered seeing me there. The food at Brio is fantastic and the owner Peppe and staff are amazing people. Once I got home I recieved a call from Peppe expressing his condolences and sincere love. This is the love you get when you are part of the Brio family. I love the ambiance, food but most of all the people. I will certainly be back soon. Thank you Peppe . I also saddened to hear that Mary, Brio's bartender lost her mother on Christmas as well. Went for dinner last week and ordered the three course dinner. Started with delicious garlic bread, meatballs in red sauce, tortellini and a connoli for dessert. Along with the dinner you can get a $20 bottle of house wine. We went with the Cabernet Sauvignon. My wife ordered salad and shrimp over risotto. All very good. Seating was plentiful inside as well as in the sun room area but fills up quickly. Service was decent but with how busy the place was later in the evening they needed another waiter. The background music was modern pop and was loud at times making conversation difficult. I would've preferred Italian style music or jazz to improve the ambiance. read more

This will be our second time coming back to Brio, and it has definitely become one of our favorites. To start, the food is incredible; We ordered the steak carpaccio, flat iron steak, and risotto carne. Everything was seasoned perfectly and all the flavors complimented each other. The steak carpaccio surpassed our expectations, it was so refreshing. They have daily deals, and for Sunday they offer the flat iron steak for $29!!! What an amazing deal for a dish bursting with flavor, juicy and tenderness, paired with roasted potatoes and vegetables. The risotto carne had the perfect meat and mushroom ratio to risotto. Creamy, light and comforting. Aside from the food, the reason we came back is because of the service! Everyone in the establishment greets you with great hospitality and enthusiasm. Our server, Claudio, in particular, is one of the kindest people we have ever met. He truly provides service like no other; you can see how intentional he is and how much he cares of his customers being taken care of.
