We stopped in while staying at the property and it definitely delivered on what you'd expect from a Waldorf bar. The drinks were really tasty and clearly well made. You can tell the bartenders know what they're doing and they weren't just pouring heavy and calling it a day. Everything tasted balanced, intentional, and high quality. They also have a large selection of quality liquor so whether you're into tequila, bourbon, whiskey, or a classic cocktail, there's plenty to choose from. Service was another highlight. The bartenders were friendly, welcoming, and super on top of it. Even with other guests coming in and out they kept the pace moving, checked in when needed, and made the whole experience feel smooth and relaxed. My only ding and it's a real one is the price point. Cocktails were running about $25 to $35 each, which is steep even for a nice hotel bar. I get it you're paying for the location and the luxury setting but it can add up fast if you're planning to have a few rounds. Overall it's a great bar with strong drinks and great service. Just go in knowing it's a splurge spot. Perfect for one or two well made cocktails rather than an all night tab unless you're really feeling generous with the wallet. read more

Can I just say that the staff here is impeccable?! Super nice lady who took our orders twice, before and after our dinner! Never had empty glasses and let us eat our dessert from the restaurant. We liked the vibe even though it was pretty open. Very lounge-y! I absolutely loved the olives and spicy almonds they brought us! Probably a tactic to get more drinks because they were both very salty. The drinks were good overall! My husband got an old fashioned- not the smoked one. I got one of the holiday drinks- I forgot the name. Both were great and balanced. When we came Back after dinner I got a whiskey sour and made sure it was the correct way- with egg white! However, I was disappointed with my drink because I don't think he mixed it well enough. You could see some of the egg whites floating around- very unappetizing. read more

No matter if you're here in the morning, afternoon, or evening, it's just enjoyable to take in the gorgeous ocean views next to the manicured golf course lawn with the magnificent architecture. We were recently here for dinner. The grilled chicken is very juicy and tender. Caesar salad is well seasoned with lots of cheesy crispy bits. The trio fries are very addictive--I especially love their truffle sauce. The bread of sliders are on the dry side---so this is the dish I don't recommend. The staff and customer service here are amazing! They are very courteous and sweet. If you are sitting by the fireplace, be very careful of the hot glass! OK, this review is just for drinks and dessert. I would say totally worth it. Your ambience your fireplace nighttime drink, and settle down and socialize. It's a great place. If you have younger kids, they're running around on the grass playing overall such a great experience during the day, I'm sure It's beautiful. Also, where you can see the ocean and I highly recommend just grab me a snack or a drink here and Ching it up with your friends. The service is representative of Waldorf-Astoria and it is top notch because you have people who are kind and willing to help you and I would say in food service these days it's becoming more rare because of how difficult the environment is. Came here after eating dinner off the property and decided having drinks at the resort would be a good idea. We ended up getting red wine, a couple of brewskies, and a decaf coffee. Was able to get seats outside next to one of the fire pits and enjoyed our drinks as well as complimentary almonds and olives in a comfortable and relaxed setting. If you haven't been to the Waldorf Astoria during the holidays, you really have to go and experience. We decided to have cocktails and nibbles right by the fireplace at 33 north . we had the entire sofa to ourselves and the fireplace right at our backs the staff our waiter was so kind and so friendly and so attentive.. we enjoyed the grilled Caesar salad and the braised short rib quesadilla. Delicious.!!! This is a pricey place to have a cocktail and nibbles, however, I will say it is worth it especially during the holidays. It's really delightful. We got there early to walk around the property and just take all of the holiday joy. This is one of our go to places. read more

We came to the WA for a staycation with our 2 year old and stopped by for a few drinks each night. I loved the living room feel of this bar and enjoyed how it wasn't too crowded. Every drink we had was amazing, especially my favorite, the Waldorf. I ordered this every night and it was consistently great. I've tried a ton of espresso martinis but my all time favorite has to be from here. It was so rich in flavor and I wish I tried it the first night. I was able to squeeze in two before the trip was over. :) The duck fat fries were delicious as a post-dinner snack. Special shoutout to Luis! He was incredibly kind and took great care of us. He even brought our son a sippy cup with water while mom and dad enjoyed a little nightcap. There was also a young lady with a blonde ponytail that was so sweet, but we did not catch her name. This place was one of the highlights of our stay at the Waldorf! Our bartender Ernest was legit such an amazing person, server, and bartender! He recommended the best drinks & food, and didn't disappoint! We ordered many drinks: The Dutchess, Bees Nees, Mules, and lots more signature cocktails! They were all great!! And we also ordered lots of food & treats: duck fat fries, dessert, and crab cake bites. I honestly can't wait to come again just to visit this bar! Being a local my wife and I had been looking forward to going here so when a friend came to visit from abroad we decided to take her here for a drink and sunset. Considering this is a world class resort we had expected great service but were disappointed. The valet was courteous and efficient but as soon as we entered inside things changed. Forget about someone greeting you but we found a table and sat down. The table had dirty dishes from the previous group sitting there but there was no other place to sit. No one came to the table for at least 15-20 minutes when I finally waved someone down. There was already a menu on the table although dog eared and dirty. We placed our drinks order which was brought out promptly. Drinks were well made and delicious. The view from this place is amazing. Ciara was a good server and tried her best but she seemed overwhelmed. I personally think the blame should go on the management. Train your people before putting them on the floor. Doesn't matter if it's a lounge, sequence of service still needs to be followed. The chair cushions were dirty and need to be changed. Guests expect and deserve better service and ambience when paying $28++ for a drink. I can make the same drink at home and enjoy the view from there too but it's the whole expectation of an experience which brings us to these luxury resorts. If a Forbes inspector was to receive such service you will not get that 5th Star which I'm sure the Waldorf wants. read more

They got our order wrong twice and explained that priority goes to Bourbon and that we are an "afterthought". When they tried to correct the mistake, they forgot what they offered and brought us the salad we should've been served before the entree. We all got steaks and one (ordered rare) was cold throughout, one was overcooked (ordered medium rare), and another one (ordered rare) was on point. Although we asked for the steaks to be served without salt...two were salted . We asked for a bottle of wine and got glasses of wine instead. Oy ve! I was staying at the Waldorf last weekend, which was a lovely experience up until I decided to have a snack at 33 North before going to bed. It was a Saturday night, but only 2 parties sitting at the outside patio overlooking the pools. I noticed one female server waiting on the 2 tables, a 4 top and a 2 top. I sat at one of the fire pits, enjoying the view; the waitress checked on her tables at least 4 times never acknowledging me, no eye contact at all so that I could waive her down to order. 30 minutes later a runner/busser brings me a plate of cookies; which I thought was a gesture of apology for taking so long to get to me. I ask for a menu. 20 minutes pass, the waitress has walked by another 2 times. I finally had to call her over and ask if I may order. She came right away. The runner brings me my brussel sprouts, and decided to tell me that he had brought the cookies to the wrong table. Really?? So an already bad experience was made even worse. Management, please retrain your servers not to judge a book by its cover. The only reason I could come up with why I wasn't being served was that I was an older single Asian woman wearing sweats and ugg boots. I still gave her a 30% tip. And the food was just ok, decent but not memorable. read more

Came here for a meeting and grabbed a drink and a couple of appetizers. Was not disappointed! Great attentive service from Andrea. Falafel and lettuce wraps: on point, yogurt sauce upped the ante. Spicy tuna tacos: perfectly-sized delivery vehicles of crunchy goodness. The comfortable outdoor seating areas were spacious and had a great view overlooking the property and down to the ocean horizon. This place is amazing! My sister and I came here two nights in a row last weekend while visiting from out of town. We sat by the fire pits on the patio and it was super nice and warm. We were really impressed with the drinks, the food, and the great service! Jason was our server both nights. I had several questions about the menu and Jason seemed happy to answer them - he was very knowledgeable and good at explaining! When you're paying $21 a drink, you kind expect the service to be top notch. Unfortunately my wife and I were kinda let down. We weren't tended too frequently enough and when it came time to check out, they overcharged me on a drink. $3 over what the menu posted. The money isn't the issue here. It's strictly principal. My daughter and I went to 33 North for a drink before meeting others for dinner at Bourbon. Veronica was our server and was wonderful. We only had a short time to stay at 33. Just as we had sat down, she brought olives and the most amazing honey almonds. She explained that the honey used came from the resorts own hive! Love this! After we left 33 we had dinner at Bourbon, which was fantastic. After dinner, Veronica saw us walking across the lobby and came over with a small bag of the honey almonds!!
