    Signature Carne Asada.
    Sam H.

Excellent service and great food. Early lunch for us and the menu has lots of options...both Mexican cuisine and American. First was the chips and salsa and guacamole. Very good. Not pictured. We had the Signature Asada and the Enchilada so good. This is a must lunch and or dinner site. I highly recommend this place. Five stars all the way.

We've come to this place several times now for happy hour and for lunch and for brunch and everything has been really good. The service has been excellent. The atmosphere is very cool. It's a little bit pricey, but the food is delicious. We came here for dinner with three adults and two kids under 10 and the kids plates were excellent. The kids had tacos and really enjoyed it and then adults had several different items but you must try the bongo soup. It's the best we've ever had.!

Across the way from the San Clemente Outlet, you can hear great sounds of nature, people and most importantly music! Plenty of parking. Clean exterior and interior. We were seated right away! Chips and salsa placed on the table and I had to ask twice what he was saying compared to how elevate his voice was at other tables Waitress came to the table and offered rose options. Super personable! Took our orders and we waited for a bit. I noticed the limes I asked for were completely dry. Fun fact, the smoother the lime is, the juicer. If it's bumpy then expect the lime to be dry. Food arrived and from the wet burrito to the tacos... everything was ok. I noticed the tomato notes were actually throughout all the food we ate and I'm guessing that's their signature. Overall food was on

After a day trip to San Diego, my wife and I made a quick pit stop here--and wow, what a pleasant surprise. From the moment we walked in, the service was excellent, the menu had great variety, and the food quality really stood out. The Cabo Jerky and Ahi Agua Chile were absolute highlights--both dishes were packed with flavor and beautifully prepared. We've tried quite a few spots, and this one easily ranks among our favorites. Definitely a hidden gem that's well worth a visit! Also, thank you again, Augustin!

Hip Mexican food restaurant adjacent to the San Clemente outlets make this far and away the best choice for food when shopping here. Lots of TVs showing the opening games of the NHL playoff weekend. Portion sizes were big. The grilled steak in the signature carne asada was so tender and perfectly grilled.

The food was incredible! everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and delicious. The ahi tuna ceviche was perfect! Service was quick and friendly, and you can tell they really care about quality. Easily a 5 star experience. Agustin made sure we had everything we needed! We will definitely be coming back

Everyone in our group enjoyed their meal, although it was slightly disappointing that the tostada was majority lettuce with not enough chicken. Friendly service team, very clean property. Large parking lot with free parking. Outlet mall is across the parking lot so this is a convenient stop for food. Nothing spectacular about this place but, it's cute and a bit upscale as far as Mexican restaurants.

Stopped in just looking for a quick midday snack and ordered the ala cart short rib taco to go. I love a crispy taco and this one had good overall flavor. The meat was a little dry but the sauce and toppings helped save it. The white cheese was solid and there was a green sauce on it that was really good. Honestly I wish there was more of that because it was the highlight. It didn't come with any extra salsa on the side but it was an ala carte taco, so that's fair. The place itself is really cool inside. Great atmosphere lots of energy a nice bar setup with TVs everywhere. It was packed on a Saturday which explains why this turned into a grab and go situation. Prices are a bit higher than other taco spots but you're clearly paying for the atmosphere as much as the food. Not the best taco I've ever had but definitely a solid stop and I'd come back especially if I can get extra of that green sauce next time.

Wonderful day to dine at Asada's at the outlet mall. We were seated outside and enjoyed the warmth of the sun. Food is always delicious. I tried something new today the barbecue pork quesadillas. The servings are very generous. I basically have enough for three meals on this plate. Our server was on point and very courteous. The margaritas were especially refreshing.

Came down to San Clemente Outlets, saw Asada Cantina and Kitchen in the same parking and stopped to have lunch. Had a hardshell chicken taco, cheese enchilada, rice and black beans. This was the best Mexican food I've ever had. Their salsa and guacamole are amazing as well. The service was top tier! We were seated and waited on right away, Drinks and food served with different staff members who were pleasant and attentive. Will definitely be making the hour drive back! Highly recommend!

Staff: We were very impressed by our sever Humberto. He was truly amazing. Excellent customer service, very attentive, and friendly. Major kudos to him. Quality/Quantity: Wowzer! The food here is absolutely delicious. I started off with one of their famous blood orange margaritas and it was so good. For lunch I got the steak burrito that was served wet and boy was it good. My group got the enchiladas which were described as the best she's ever had. Other guests in my party got the taquitos, tacos, and kids hamburger. Everyone was very happy with the food. Value: The pricing is a little high but the quality of the food supports it. Overall: I was totally digging this spot and will return again.

If you like Bloody Mary's, you have to have Jim's Spicy Bloody Mary. It's topped off with a slim Jim, bacon wrapped stuffed jalapeño and a lemon wedge. Yum! Restaurant was extremely busy, but that didn't slow down the service.

Asada Cantina is one of those places we truly love and always make a point to come back to whenever we're in the area. We've tried several items on the menu, and honestly, nothing has disappointed us so far. Everything has been consistently flavorful and well prepared. My favorite by far has to be the Asada plate--it's always cooked perfectly and full of flavor. This spot has definitely earned its place as a go-to for us, and we'll gladly keep coming back.

There are tacos on the starter menu. I believe tacos are only shown as a plate however last time we were there we asked our server for a single enchilada and they happily accommodated the request. I'm guessing they'd do the same for a taco.

My husband likes his $30 whiskey sour. Our only complaint is it could've been served in a whiskey cup and not a cocktail cup. My drink was good, forgot what it was called. We were served by everyone. Our main waitress was wonderful. Our water was always refilled. Our order was taken by another gentlemen who had memorized our order. The waiter who brought out our executive board explained the whole board. SO MUCH MEAT!!! It all tasted excellent. Their bread roll on the appetizer portion was like nothing I've ever tasted. Ordered were a Pepperoni pizza and the Margherita pizza. Margherita is always too bland for me no matter where I have it. I have to go for pepperoni always on my pizza, and it was tasty. I would've added mushrooms, but it wasn't my turn. Nice crust, flavorful, very thin Woodfired pizza. Just a note-share and eat it there. Too floppy for leftovers. My preference. Tagliatelle Bolognese was upscale flavor with the right spice and totally 100% agreed with my taste buds. I am a fan of thinner pasta, but this is how it's done at Parlor. Funny, it was extremely long strands of pasta so have your knife ready. Unlike the pizza, it made great leftovers, and I thought it tasted even better the next day. So I don't recommend sharing it. Their website teases that food is coming soon. It is a fairly small place and I would definitely recommend making a reservation on Yelp. If there are no reservations available when you want to visit, they also have a Yelp live waitlist. The building has its own parking lot with about ten spaces and is shared with the sushi speakeasy upstairs. We arrived around 6:30pm on a Sunday night, and luckily there were still quite a few spaces available. A half hour later, the place was packed. The outside of the building is not marked. Enter through the red double doors in front, walk to the right, and the entrance will be easy to spot. Seating options include eight seats at the bar, four high-top tables in the main area that seat four people each, and a slightly raised grotto area with one four-seat table and two two-seat tables. We often like to sit at the bar, but I reserved a table in the grotto so we could get the full experience and I'm glad I did. The interior has great décor with a mix of tiki and pirate ship elements. The walls are wooden plank, with cargo netting, ropes, and tiki lights above. The walls have portraits of Goonies movie characters. Take two steps up to the grotto area, and you are inside of a cave with skulls, shells, and treasures embedded in the cave walls. There is also a small waterfall in the corner. Scan the QR code on the table for the cocktail menu. It is colorful and many of the drinks have names tied to The Goonies. Each drink also has zero, one, or two skulls next to it to indicate the booziness factor. They have quite a few original cocktails as well as classic tiki drinks, a few mocktails, spirits, beer, and wine. I started out with the Ash Landing (Hamilton Pot Still Blonde Rum, Hamilton 86 Demerara Rum, Hamilton Pimento Dram, Angostura Bitters, Pineapple, Lime, Ginger, One Skull booziness, $14). This was definitely a little on the boozy side, with good ginger flavor and the pineapple and lime in the background. She started out with the One-Eyed Willy (Pou Vodka, Lychee, Guava, Coconut, Sweet & Sour, $15, keep the mug for $65). It is rare that a vodka drink is my favorite of the night, but this was both of our favorites. It was very balanced and juicy, and not boozy at all. The guava, coconut, and citrus from the sweet and sour were all there. We bought the mug, and they bring you a new one in original packaging. The purchased mug is colored a little differently (blue instead of black) than the mug the drink is served it, but it still looks great. While walking around taking pictures, I ran into our server and mentioned that it was my girlfriend's birthday. He kindly brought us some shots on the house. He said it was a recipe they had for shots during Halloween, and it tasted like a spin on a kamikaze. It was very good and much appreciated. I have a hard time resisting a cool mug, so for my second drink I ordered the Slick Shoes (Planteray Pineapple Rum, Worthy Park Rum, Bounty Dark Rum, Strawberry, Papaya, Lime Juice, $17). It is served in a cool sneaker mug with a flaming lime half on top. It was nicely balanced and just a tiny bit boozy. It had a nice light fruit flavor, not overly sweet at all. I think it is sometimes served in a regular glass, so if you order it, be sure to ask for the sneaker mug. Her second cocktail was the Never Say Die (Producer Mezcal, Kiwi, Lemon, Mango, Grilled Pineapple, $14). The smokiness of the mezcal was on the hairy edge of being too smoky for me, but she loved it. She could taste the kiwi and mango. We shared one last drink, the Garden of Eden (Papa's Pilar Blonde Rum, Lavender, Lemon, Elderflower, Cucumber Bitters, One Skull booziness, $17). It had an interesting (good) floral flavor profile, and didn't strike me as boozy at all. I could definitely taste the cucumber notes from the bitters. There was good 80s music playing in the background. It's a Goonies themed bar, I get it, but we would have enjoyed a few tiki songs in the mix too. There is one unisex restroom out in the lobby area. It is nice that they also themed it with wooden plank on the walls and ceiling, and some nautical décor. Daniel was our server and was very friendly and provided great service. Thanks again Daniel for the birthday shots! Bartender Felipe also delivered one round of our drinks and was also very friendly. All of the drinks were good and there are definitely more on the menu that we would like to return and try. We had a real fun time, thanks Lost Inferno!

As per all main San Clemente, parking is extremely limited and usually not directly in the attached lot. Bathrooms are also part of a plaza system so much more shared and informal. This is a fun little spot and we will probably be back again.

The food was good. A few surprises My sister ordered the Cali eggs Benedict the potatoes wee supposed to be smashed, they were halved. The avocado slices looked old due to the dark tone on them, not the normal green. My chilaquiles had black beans, not mentioned in the menu description; great surprise. There was supposed to be sour cream on my chilaquiles and there wasn't any. It would have cut some of the sourness of the chile verde sauce. I chose poached eggs in stead of fried ones. My eggs were over cooked and cold. I am pretty sure they were precooked. I would give them another try, maybe for lunch.

Food: We started off with the coconut shrimp. The coconut shrimp was good. The coconut was crispy and the shrimp was well done for the main dish. I got the Cali Benedict. It was Soooo good. The hollandaise sauce was so tasty. The shrimp was fully seasoned and the potato's were well seasoned and huge. I recommend people getting this dish. Ambiance: The ambiance was great. There wasn't really a lot of people so that was nice. Just kids screaming and cry from time to time.
