    Relaxing coffee corner.

Nice spot to relax a bit at the Atlanta terminal A. This is a shared coffee shop area with a Simply bookstore of which the cafeteria side is slightly hidden from the hectic stream of travellers. It's actually an excellent corner to rest, without noise (except the one from the kitchen equipment). Limited number of small tables is just good enough to accomodate here. Fresh, brewed coffee menu is simple: either light or dark roast - the dark one I took today is quite tasty. Also decent looking basic sandwiches and croissants.

Quick service between flights here. Had a delicious bacon egg and cheese crescent. The coffee was hot and fresh. The cashier was full of smiles and very friendly. I sat at a table for a bit and enjoyed my breakfast and hot coffee.

As you likely know, Atlanta is a very busy airport. There are often long lines for food and beverage, particularly for popular restaurants. Apparently, Brioche Doree is not terribly popular, yet there is a line to get food and drink. Though it was not a long line, it took far too long for service. Brioche Doree has both signs advertising espresso drinks and an espresso machine. After waiting in a line with only five people in front of me for well over ten minutes, I ordered an espresso beverage. While standing next to the espresso machine, the clerk/cashier told me, "We only have coffee." There was no sign indicating a change from the posted menu, or an apology for my waiting in line for an advertised beverage. As a frequent business traveler, I need to collect receipts for all travel expenses. The clerk was unable to provide a receipt, claiming her machine was broken, she did not have a paper roll for the machine, she did not know how to replace it, or she just did not care - she could not explain why...She just said, "Next in line." The clerk had difficulty providing anything but the barest of service; she moved at the speed of molasses. She had little or no empathy for exasperated travelers in a hurry to get some food before their next flight. If she is overworked, she needs help; if not she needs to be fired. An airport should have a restaurant chain's best employees. If this is the best they have, I highly recommend seeking a more popular restaurant which can service your needs in a timely manner - avoid Brioche Doree, at the airport or elsewhere!

Man, I really need to do a better job of eating breakfast before I get on planes because otherwise I end up racing through airports and grabbing whatever's nearby. Today, at the top of the escalator near the "A" food court, it was Brioche Doree. Hoping for something already prepared, I was pleased to see a decent selection of pastries and sandwiches ready to go. The smoked salmon baguette caught my eye and so that was my takeaway to nibble as I waited for my plane to board. Salmon, cucumber, cream cheese, yum. Tasty and filling and probably a decent enough choice as far as airport eating goes. Looks like a decent enough place to hang out and eat if I ever have another layover in ATL. Yeah, all the time.

So glad I saw this at the top of the escalator, just what I was hoping to find before my flight.

French Bakery in an airport, what a delight! Bacon egg cheese brioche and a strawberry cream cheese pastry, both for $8. Next to Gate A18.

Soup, salad and coffee are priced better here! I just had time to go around to compare. It's quite hidden, so follow the PF Chang's sign.

It is tucked away in a little corner of the A Comcourse (right off of the up escalator), next to the bookstore.

C'est La Vie Café - A Happy Accident!…read more Okay, full disclosure I wasn't checking for this café at all. I literally stumbled across it while walking to my rental car, fresh off the plane with less than 24 hours to explore. What caught my eye first was the café's aesthetic it had that "this place is gonna be good" vibe. Then I saw matcha lemonade on the menu, and that was all she wrote. I was sold. The drink did not disappoint it was the perfect balance of earthy matcha and bright, citrusy lemonade. Light, refreshing, and just what I needed after a flight. On top of the delicious drink and cute atmosphere, the customer service was great friendly, patient, and welcoming, even with my jet-lagged self. Sometimes the best finds are the unexpected ones, and this little gem was a perfect example of that. Whether you're on a tight schedule or just wandering, C'est La Vie is worth the stop.

This was a Monday morning around 9:30 am. The ONLY food they had available were bagels with cream cheese! She said they ran out over the weekend!!!! Unless you count a few bags of chips in a bowl ! I had read the menu before I went and had planned to grab several different types of pastries to take. I didn't even really want a bagel , but had no choice. And it took almost 15 minutes to get my bagel. How slow is your toaster??? And even the coffee wasn't that great . And the two creamers she gave me were curdled when I poured them in the coffee! She said it was probably bc the coffee was too hot! Ridiculous! I know old cream when it doesn't stir down into the coffee but still sits on the surface after you've stirred And for a bagel with plain cream cheese in just a container , and a plain hot coffee, this was over $9 !!! Nice ambience, nice waitperson; but overall extremely disappointing experience. Only advice I could give is call ahead if you want to be sure what pastries, if any they have!

We made reservations for the 6 of us, and upon arrival we were greeted by the friendly staff. There was a line of people waiting to be seated, so we were concerned about having to wait since we were heading to the airport. We had a brief waiting period before being seated. Jasmine D, our server was prompt and very personable. The menu was full of delectable choices for brunch or lunch. We ordered the Very Berry French Toast, Chix & Pancakes & bacon, Jerk Chicken & Sweet Potato Waffles, and a Kids Cheese Scramble & bacon and grits. Everything was absolutely delicious! Our server was attentive and patient with us the entire time we were there. If you're looking for great food, a great welcoming down home ambiance and are in the area, The Breakfast Boys is a great place to go, but make reservations!
