There weren't a ton of strawberries, but enough to do the job. This isn't. breakfasts you'll reminisce about for years to come, but it'll do the job nicely. If it's nice outside, there's a patio with some tables that can be nice to sit at. Some parking reserved for customers on the side of the building which is very convenient as parking in Westside can be a nightmare. I really love the food and vibes at this place! It's counter style ordering - however on this particular day they only had one person taking orders so we stood in line for quite some time to place our order. They did offer samples of their iced cinnamon biscuits while in line which was a nice touch. As a fun thing instead of numbers, you gave them your favorite love song to call out when your order was ready. I will say it was SO LOUD in there if you were seated further from the counter it was difficult to hear when your food was ready, so we didn't hear them. My husband ordered the sqwaking goat sandwhich and also enjoyed it. We are traveling, and since we're in Atlanta we had to have biscuits. We stopped at Maple Street Biscuit Company and not only had great food, but their service was awesome. They were friendly, informative, and attentive. The place was spacious and clean. We had a freshly made biscuit. It was hot, crusty on the outside, and perfectly soft on the inside. We didn't get to eat here, even though we really wanted to. We came in on a Sunday early afternoon, with two little ones claiming to be very very hungry (even though they'd been previously fed). The line was backed up to the game table, which is just inside the front door. Thus, I had to get creative to keep the children distracted. About halfway through the line (maybe 10-15 minutes into our wait), my husband took the children to grab a table while I waited to order our food. To keep them distracted, I suggested they grab a jenga-equivalent game from the table. As I finally got to be next in line to order, the gentleman in front of me turned around from the cash register and said to me "they want me to tell you all (gesturing to the line behind me) that there will be at least a 30 minute wait after you order." I alerted the people behind me who all immediately began negotiating whether the wait was worth it. For our family, we decided it was not worth the wait and we should head home. We figured we could be home about the time that we'd get food...so with one child offering to help me cook once we got home and the other in complete shambles (tears, tantrum, etc.), we left. Such consistently fabulous biscuits. Maple Street, right around the corner from Georgia Tech has so many breakfast options. Their classic biscuits are a fan favorite and the best way to eat them is smothered in sausage gravy. The coffee is pretty standard, diner styles, but I do love their selection of roasts available. I've never been to this location. I frequent at that Kennesaw location which is my fave. Decided to stop by since I was in the area. Getting right to it...I ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit. Personally, this is one of the best places to go to when you're in atlanta visiting for an anime con. I didn't entirely visit the restaurant instead.I actually had the food ordered through Uber eats instead. When you're traveling to find restaurants and wound up getting lost as a result, it's best to do Doordash and/or UberEats. When my food was delivered, the deliverer was excellent and had a very wonderful, pleasant attitude and a wonderful ambiance, and I always do my best to make sure I tip my drivers. So probably try to go earlier or on a week day. Once I walked in, I was able to walk right up and place my order. The cashier was nice and we were able to have a quick conversation. And I just love that they ask questions for you to answer to say your order is ready instead of using your name. So the question for this trip was "what are your bringing to the cookout". My answer was Mac and cheese. And when my order was ready, they said order ready for Mac and cheese. Makes its fun! The restaurant was crowded but everyone was at peace. I've come to this location on separate occasions in the last two months, and I've enjoyed it. It's usually bustling, but the staff moves pretty quickly. If in doubt about brunch, this is a go to for me if I'm with others. I'm a huge fan of the Five & Dime, but I recently went and they were out of sausage gravy so I opted for the squawking goat and added an egg - the jelly with the goat cheese is a winner! I really love everything about this place, however every time I come they either forget something that I have to go back and ask for or they've run out of something. 1st visit. Easy to park,easy to order, quick service, and only waited a few minutes for my to go order. Service wise great 1st impression! I ordered the Iron Goat and a side of grits. The sandwich has sauteed spinach and goat cheese. Before ordering I thought "This sounds good but it's way too simple. Oh wait, it's probably deceptively good considering it's on the section of the menu that says Biscuits That Wow." Well folks, the biscuit did not wow. Sauteed spinach has a tendency to feel slimey so when you bite into the biscuit, the spinach leaves a filmy gooey taste in your mouth. The goat cheese is there to help it out, but they are conservative with how much they put on your sandwhich. You guys need to add something whether it be an egg, crispy bacon, etc., to help with the slimey texture issue and lack of flavor depth. There's so many things that pair well with goat cheese, use them! EDIT: I appreciate the prompt response from the business but that's not what I mean. The baseline sandwich should be tasty without any need to customize. Add-ons should be a nice-to-have, not a must-have. Im trying to communicate the sandwich itself lacks a depth of texture & flavor.
