    Savory beignet options

Very friendly staff walked me through the menu as it was my first time. I got an order of the original beignets those came with a side of caramel dipping sauce. I also tried the oxtail beignet. If you are looking to replicate a taste of New Orleans this isn't it, but they are still delicious. These beignets have more of a nutmeg flavor. The oxtail beignet was very flavorful and spicy, but the beignet itself wasn't cooked all the way through like it was too thick. I'll definitely be back to try the other beignet flavors and Ethiopian coffee.

MUST GO!!!! I do not drink coffee but I loveeee beignets. I stumbled upon this place at the perfect time. They were making Ethiopian coffee so of course I had to try it. Everyone was so polite and helpful. After waiting some time, they served us complimentary Ethiopian coffee and snacks.

Yay Beignet has moved to Hapeville. They offer great Ethiopian Coffee and beignets. The original is always a good choice, and make sure to add the drizzle. They also have glazed that melt in your mouth for a limited time. If you stop by on Saturday, they host an Ethiopian coffee Ceremony. The owners are always pleasant and welcoming!

Heard a lot of good things about this place so I decided to come in and check it out. I ordered the Cajun chicken biscuit. it was so good I ordered two. Also ordered the beignets and breakfast potatoes. The beignets were pretty good. They came out warm with lots of powdered sugar. It's a quaint restaurant with plenty of seating. Upon entering, you place your order and they bring it to your table. The service was quick and the staff is friendly. There's a small parking lot in the front of the building and it is also located on the beltline. I will definitely be back to try the shrimp and grits and chai latte.

Hidden location inside a shared building across from Krog street market...right next to the belt line. Friendly staff. Breakfast, lunch and a couple vegan options available. *Fish biscuit- delicious *Beignets- average *Strawberry Tea- good *Chai latte- good *Cajun fries- although good wasn't very 'cajun' seasoned. Just tasted (and looked) like regular fries. *Vegan Rueben- nice crispy bread. However heavily doused with Tabasco sauce, topped with American cheese and lightly seasoned tofu. The tofu was steamed (maybe). Wish it was at least cooked or fried. It made for a very mushy sandwich. Overall it didn't actually taste like a Rueben.

Super hole on the wall. My only issue is that it really looks inconspicuous and closed if they didn't have a small sign saying it was open. It was also kind of hard to see it pop up when searching for places to go eat or grab a bite at. It's not glitz and glame but the beignets come out hot and so so good. Like it's giving made fresh and fried before being dusted. You won't find a Luke warm one here. They have mult breakfast options for a quick little bite and the prices are great. The owners seem super nice and definitely give kind and bright vibes. It was a bit stuffy inside but it was summer when I was there so it's a given.

Quaint spot right off the beltline.

This was also my second time here and apart of the belt line food tour. The small dining area is just enough for a quick treat. The owners were very nice and we could see them prepare the food due to the open space. They are start up location which will eventually allow them to have their own space soon. The menu is full of lunch and breakfast options that we didn't try due to our tour but so much to choose and a variety of biscuit and seafood , sandwich options including vegan options. Great spot to try for sure and support a local business.

Step one- find your way to Yay Beignet! Step Two - Order the Hot Link Biscuit and add an egg. Step Three - Eat Step Four - Thank for for suggesting the yummiest breakfast sandwich in Atlanta. The biscuit is crispy yet, fluffy and the sausage seared just right. The fried egg and speciality sauce takes the sandwich to a whole different level!!

Beignets were sweet, chewy and made-to-order. No need for sauce or fruit. The plain beignet with powered sugar was a nice treat.

I kept seeing this place recommended on my food delivery app, so I gave it a shot. The Shrimp Po'Boy was good, but it felt like just shrimp on bread with some hot sauce--nothing else. Plus, the bread fell apart. The chicken biscuit was dry, and the biscuit crumbled as I picked it up. But the real star was the beignets--so fluffy and sugary. I would definitely come back for those again.

The beignets here are so light and fluffy with a warming spiced nutmeg flavor. The nutmeg flavor is light but adds a delicious depth. The beignets were $5 for 3 large beignets. The ethiopian coffee was delicious as well. There are non dairy milk options like oat milk. The owner was so welcoming and kind! Highly recommend this cafe for a quick sweet treat, breakfast or lunch. There are many beverage options and lunch options as well.

After reading reviews I ventured out here hopeful. It may have been an "off day" but I came wanting to love this experience, expecting NOLA and was disappointed. Firstly, service is good. From the cashier to the server, we received immediate greeting, and quickly received our food. However, my cajan fish & grits were not prepared well. The fish was not freshly battered and fried- it tasted and looked like a Gordons frozen packaged fish plank that was deep fried too long. The girts were not creamy but they were seasoned well, just not creamy and thick. The Caramel Latte had too much water and the Beignets, (what I actually traveled here for) were much like a Donut/Krispy Kreme texture and not a Beignet. The location is excellent- right ON the Beltline, parking is limited. The interior could use some attention, at-least turn on the heat. It was very cold and not welcoming- and we sat on metal seats. I assume the space is shared by other vendors, who were not open at 10am, therefore the place felt a bit empty on one side or as if it were in the middle of being renovated(one area was behind curtains) Although the location accepts cash, I was informed "we will not be able to give you change"... I am forced to let you keep the change or use my card? I really hope to try this place again in the future so I can update this review. Again, it may have been a bad day.

Yay Beignet is tucked in the coffee shop right off the belt line & Krog Street Market. I was a bit disappointed with the inside ambiance at first glance, which I hope it's just under construction. But the beignets spoke for themselves! They were fresh, hot and the perfect consistency! I had the raspberry & chocolate sauce and they paired VERY WELL with the beignets! The service was great, beignets were delicious! I will definitely be back!

They have a upstairs eating area also. This place is simple but cute. It was lunchtime and service was top tier. I was greeted once walking in and immediately seated. I must do better with remember names...smh because my server deserves all the recognition, I can say he was a Caucasian, older gentleman. He was amazing!!! He was so nice, knew the menu, made recommendations, and kept a check on me. I found that all the staff helped each other, if water got low, another staffer filled it, plates got empty, someone different may take them away. Everyone was really nice. Now let's get into the drinks and food.... Mimosa(peach) perfectly mixed. The gumbo was recommended and it was good, it had nice size shrimp. The calamari was really good also. For my entree, I had the Shrimp cescer salad, it was delicious... even after finishing it up later that evening because I was so full. I could and would recommend checking them out for sure.

The dining room can get loud if all the tables. Full bar / wine serving Cajun style with a "Atlantean" flair. Service: 5 stars Rarely do I give a 5 star rating for a server but our server was exceptional. He was polite, friendly, helpful and was very attentive. He mentioned some recommendations and as a foodie himself, he made a couple recommendations. Food: 4-4.4 stars Shrimp Po-Boy: 4 Stars for the Po-Boy due to amount of shrimp, though they were larger than normal. The shrimp was seasoned and lightly breaded. However, the bread was wonderful. Light, airy, flaky and had the right amount of crunch to it. The creole sauce was good but the Po-Boy needed some additional hot sauce. The perfectly cooked fries were AWESOME! Highly recommend to get a side if your entree doesn't come with it. Lightly salted with hint of other seasoning and herbs and had the right amount of chew and crunch to them. Also, I believe the oil they use was a better quality than normal. Blacken Mahi-Mahi- 5 Stars The grilled blackened fish has the perfect on of Creole seasoning and was topped with a house-made Chimichurri Sauce and possibly honey. Served with seasonally roasted root vegetables. My wife loved it so much the plate was practically cleaned! LOL! Dessert Beignet - 3.75 Stars By our server's recommendation we ordered a serving of 3 beignets w Pecan Praline Caramel sauce. The beignets were hot and fresh and had a "snowy" amount of powdered sugar. It was covered with goodness. When we bit into them, they were light, airy and had a bit of a chew to them. My wife likes them more than Cafe Du Monde but I thought the dough had more chewiness to them. The Praline sauce was ok. Also, the sauce is extra $3.50. NOTE: Do not order a carton of water - Cost $5. Wasn't worth it. Get regular water. If we were staying another day, we would definitely come back. I highly recommend the place. Also, the have another located situated in downtown Atlanta. But I suggest to stop by at the OG place in College Park. Small time atmosphere with great food! Enjoy!

With no self-parking visible, you're forced to follow the road behind the building into a paid lot. Parking is free for the first 2 hours, which would later prove to be an issue. Inside, the hotel aesthetic is bright and clean, and we were promptly greeted and seated, however, this was the last positive moment regarding service. Service: Our server, Sierra, set the tone quickly. Despite the restaurant not being busy and appearing well-staffed, it took an unusually long time just to take our drink orders. When we asked for white zinfandel, we received a rude response: "We only have the drinks on the menu." Ironically, my friend then asked for a margarita, which was not on the menu, and the bartender somehow managed to make it. Consistency and professionalism were clearly missing. Throughout the experience, attention to service level was non-existent. Sierra couldn't keep track of who ordered what, and delays continued for everything: taking orders, delivering takeout containers, splitting checks, and even getting water refills (which never arrived). At this point, we were joking that the server must get a kickback for delaying guests long enough to exceed the free parking window. Check-Out Chaos: At checkout, mass confusion set in. Sierra painstakingly recorded who ordered what, yet our checks still came out wrong. To avoid further delays, we privately sorted the difference within our group. When the signed receipts and cards were returned, we asked about parking validation--only to learn parking is just free for 2 hours, no validation provided. We rushed out, only to hit 2 hours and 1 minute, triggering a parking fee. As if that wasn't enough, one of our party members went back to leave a tip, only to be told we never paid. Sierra accused us of taking both copies of the receipt, despite never providing two in the first place. When we quickly returned to reconcile the confusion and were met with shifting stories: first we didn't owe anything, then she thought we were hotel guests, then finally that we took both receipts. The insult was unnecessary, disrespectful, and completely out of line. Final Thoughts: Great food, however server was rude, disorganized, and accusatory. If you go, pack patience and maybe a stopwatch for parking.
