If you try to use the "chat" option, you receive vague information and are told that questions cannot be answered. When you request a supervisor, you are told you have to call to speak with someone. When you question anything during the chat, you are told that the "person" on the other end of the chat is unable to help you and will terminate the chat. If you leave a yelp review, you receive a nice note from "Jackie" with a request to send a PM with your specific concerns. Too bad Jackie doesn't exist and there is no information on how to PM anyone for actual assistance. $500+ a month for services is beyond ridiculous and you only get bots to "assist" in answering questions regarding the $500 bill and why $280 of it is all fees. Edited to add: received my notice from "Jackie" and I can send a note via Facebook or X since there is no PM option. I have neither, by the way. Also, thanks "Jackie" for reminding me that Astound suspends additional comments - forgot about that part.

Katy and her team are friendly and willing to do what it takes to get your web-based business off the ground or revamp a website you already have. They can also help you create apps and help get them to reach your target market! More business and more traffic means more money! I hang out with them often and though I don't pretend to know what they are talking about half the time, I do know enough to understand that quality is of very high importance to them. I have other friends who work at tech companies and their conversations center around how "fast" they can get projects done so they can go home early and still make a profit. At Siren, they are motivated entirely differently. They are always challenging one another on what the BEST way to get something done is. They throw parties to celebrate a job well done for their clients. The most recent parties I was invited to were for to congratulate the team on finishing a project with extra features that weren't in the original budget and for breaking records on getting clients extra awesome search engine results without being asked. I often hang out with them while they are burning midnight oil and never hear them complain that they are putting in extra hours to make sure something is done RIGHT and still getting done on time. They are good at their job, but the reason for my review is that I see a side of them that most people do not see, and I admire how much they actually care about the projects they work on. It is rare to see a company who actually tries to make a difference in the world by helping people, especially in their field. For Siren, I can tell they are not just doing this for the money, and to me that is priceless. If I ever needed a website I would use them without hesitation.

A few years ago when they put in the antenna we had so much trouble with our internet and couldn't get a good worker out here. My son ended up fixing the problem. That was a few years ago. Most of use had Rise (line of sight) connections that were spotty and very unreliable. Nextlink showed up and put in high speed cables and everyone was pleased with them and I switched over as nearly everyone else. Well, the install was poor and I'm on the 100mbps plan and the best I can get is 30-60mbps, which I'm still happy with. However the worst I get is 1mbps and it frequently just drops to zero for no apparent reason. Over the last 4 years I've had about 4 techs come out and evaluate and finally switch out all the surface equipment. It's comical how one tech can say the previous one didn't know what they are doing. I have close to 50 submitted tickets. Still unresolved. I should have cancelled but there is no alternative. I think they put in the bare minimum of infrastructure and got over subscribed. The NextDoor App even had a Nextlink Rep on there promoting the first year, but has since closed his account due to backlash. This company only exists until someone else comes along. Attached screenshots of my current speed today.

Never once had an outage in the roughly 10 months that i had the service, so I never had a need to call about anything service or outage related. Excellent product. When I signed up for NT Fiber, it was the only option allowed in Sherman Park Village, a then brand new apartment complex in Sherman TX. I would have liked to stay with Sparklight, since I'd been doing business with them for over a decade at that point. When I signed up I was told that I could receive a bill in the mail and send a check as payment each month, as I preferred. That turned out to be untrue. After the first month or so when I received an email about nonpayment, it turned out they had to have a card on file, and charge it each month. Not the end of the world, just not what I was told. I bought my first home about a week ago, and got moved in this past weekend. I opted to go with Sparklight instead of NT Fiber. I started calling yesterday, the 23rd of March 2026, at about 9:18 a.m. I just got a call back today the 24th of March 2026, at about 2 p.m. I probably called 30 times or more, trying to get someone on the line to cancel my service. Left multiple messages. At 12:19 today I sent an email, detailing how many times I'd called, and asking for my service to be cancelled. About 1.5 hours later, I got a 1 word response from a Bobby with NT Fiber. "cancelled" I was going to flame the company pretty hard about that, but about 15 minutes later I got a phone call from a Rachel, with NT Fiber. She was perfectly pleasant, relayed that my service had been cancelled, and all payments stopped, and thanked me for being a customer. I told her I had been seconds away from a nasty review, and that a Bobby had left a single word response to my email. She told me that a stomach virus, or something like it, had torn up their office and that they were on a skeleton crew. Understandable. I'm leaving a 3 star review. It's not a 1 star because Rachel called me and was polite and professional, and overall the experience was pretty good with the company, and in my case at least, the product was phenomenal. It's not a 5 star, because it took me over 24 hours, 30+ phone calls, and 1 email to get a response from a company whose hours are listed as 24 hours a day. And I feel I was intentionally misled about the billing process at the start, back in June of last year. Hope this review helps someone.

Update to my previous review:…read more Unfortunately, nothing has improved. NT Fiber has been, without question, the worst internet service provider I have ever dealt with. Trash.......... I have now been without internet service for three days, and there are neighbors in my community who have been without service for an entire week. This is completely unacceptable. The salesperson, Donna, has repeatedly told me through calls and text messages that she would "get me an update," but that's all I've received--promises with no real information or resolution. NT Fiber advertises "excellent service," but that couldn't be further from the truth. Excellent service doesn't leave customers without internet for days at a time, especially when many of us rely on it to work from home. This outage has directly affected my ability to do my job. I strongly advise HOAs, developers, and property managers to think twice before partnering with NT Fiber. Residents should not have to pay HOA fees for an internet service that is this unreliable and provides such poor communication during outages. This experience has been incredibly frustrating and disappointing. I would not recommend NT Fiber to anyone.
