They have always been reliable, friendly, and honest. More than once, they have helped me to trouble shoot over the phone and fix the problem so there was no service charge. I just spent an entire day waiting for the tech to show up. When he did he refused to service my furnace because it is in a 3 block high crawl space with a liner. The person on the phone when I booked the service did not ask where it was they just booked the job. If you don't do crawls don't you think asking a question about where is the furnace? I called another company and the polite young lady on the phone asked where the furnace is and they gladdly accepted the job. These guys are a joke. 1 and done. read more

Had Mike and his group out to my house to install a furnace and air conditioner earlier this week. They are a family owned business who seem to take a lot of pride in keeping their prices low and doing a great job. The job was thorough and efficient. The price that was quoted was not exceeded and I felt that they went above and beyond to ensure the job was done professionally and it exceeded all expectations. Had my furnace and air conditioner changed out. First company I have worked with in a while that truly cares. Swapped at a part of the unit knowing they would be replacing just so me and and my kids would not be without heat. Who does that these days. Who cares about their clients. These guys are the best! We had them install our AC unit for us last year when we bought our house, ad they cleaned all our ducts as well. I was extremely satisfied with their customer service, cleanliness, and that they took the time to explain everything to me. This August, when we had that record rainfall and flooding, our basement got over 30" of water in it, totaling our furnace and water heater. I called Brisendine the next day, and within 2 hours Mike was at my house! Needless to say, we also had them replace our furnace and water heater, and again, I couldn't be happier with them. read more

My furnace was giving a pressure switch code 11 months ago and I called Brisendine who came out to look at it. The repairman said he could not do anything unless he saw the code himself. Even though I told him the code. I find it hard to believe there isn't a method to diagnose a problem without actually seeing a code. So, he cleaned the flame sensor (not relevant to the code I was getting) and charged me $79. That night, no heat. Same code I told the tech about. They came back out and replaced the pressure switch for another $89. This was late March so I wan't using the furnace that much after the repair but I believe it worked for the rest of the spring. Next winter, the furnace would occasionally stop working and the same pressure switch code would flash. Sometimes I could turn the switch to the furnace off and on a few times and it would kick on. If not, I would tap on the pressure switch and sometimes that would get it to work again. And after getting it to kick on, it would work for a few weeks. But soon the pressure switch code would start flashing again. Usually in the middle of the night when it's freezing cold and I am tired. Recently I looked at the pressure switch they installed and it is a different switch than what this furnace calls for. The numbers are different. I called Brisendine and they said the difference was allowable. Perhaps but I want the one that this furnace requires. Who knows maybe that's the problem? I told them because tapping on the pressure switch causes the furnace to start back up, I'm thinking it must be a switch issue. They said not necessarily. So I asked them, if the switch turns out to be bad would they replace it for free? The woman on the phone said she would have to ask. She called me back and said it would be another $89 for them to come back out. These guys are nice and they might mean well but I think they should be able to fix a furnace the first time, not the 3rd or more times. At the very least they should come out and look at my furnace without charging me considering I have had nothing but problems with this furnace and this SAME code for the past 11 months. Hate to do it but I am switching furnace companies. read more

We have used Brisendine Heating & Cooling for years. Just got new central air installed by them this May, 2016 and they did an excellent job. They installed our furnace 12 years ago and did a great job then,too. The guys are all experts in their field, very friendly, family owned company and we will never use anyone else! I used them last summer for a new central AC. They were fast, friendly and professional. They cleaned up after themselves and gave me the 101 on my new system. I called them again today when I thought furnace died (turns out the pilot light was out).
