What a tasty place! We had heard about this place from many people and finally made it. You can…read moresmell that they are legit just from the smell when you walk in! (And the constant line out the door!) We got the family pack and man, it was amazing. The cornbread was sweet and perfectly moist and served with butter and honey. We got the chopped brisket, ribs, pulled pork, Mac n cheese and beans. What an absolute feast! The sauce was the perfect complement to the entrees without overpowering anything. We loved mixing and matching all the goodies for a new perfect bite every time. We ordered to go and got food quickly considering it was a packed Saturday. We ended up sampling everything before leaving the restaurant because a table opened up. Can't wait to head back and try more of the menu. If you are looking for legitimate BBQ in Reno, this is the spot.

Leave them in slices even for sandwiches!! I love Brothers but they need to smoke and/or barbecue their pork ribs longer so that they fall off the bone! It was tough to eat even using a knife. The corn bread was yummy and I love the new howling barbecue sauce! Other than that we shall see you next year.

FINALLY! got the chance to go try this place out. As we walked through the doors what did I smell??…read moreSmoke, yep the sweet sweet smell of meats smokin' on the pit. I went in big like a starving hostage and ordered a half rack of ribs, brisket, pulled pork, a Habanero Jalapeño Cheddar sausage link and a side of mac and F'n Cheese! My wife, she had the pulled chicken and a salad. First taste was the brisket, gotta go in for the brisket. The bark was so flavorful and there was the distinct smoke flavor. Unlike another place I've been to, this place was smoke forward and that's the vibe I like. Not bitter, but a good smoke. The pulled pork was out of this world and the ribs were just about perfect. Not fall off the bone but a great clean bite through. I know, I know everyone wants fall off the bone but hear me out, THAT'S JUST OVERCOOKED! Now let's talk about this sausage. If you aren't prepared for some serious heat (I should have known by the name) don't be a hero here. That link is damn hot. Like satan's b-hole hot. Flavor is amazing but it's hot as pawnshop wedding ring. I gotta say this place has got my attention. Not that it need my attention particularly, but you have it anyway. When I go to a BBQ restaurant, I want to taste smoke. That's what I'm there for. Butcher's Kitchen did not dissapoint. THEN!! the best part of the night was when they brought me and my wife back and showed us the smokers!! Like wizard of oz, ruby slippers, man behind the curtain sh*t, they showed me the damn smokers! Gave us the full tour of their amazing pits. Top notch man, top notch! You have a forever fan here. I will not rest until I've tasted everything on that menu twice over. Thank you so very much for your food and your hospitality. Continue to do what you do. Oh and the girl loved the chicken and salad, truly. Smoke and Destroy!!

I remember seeing these guys on "triple D", and guy was very impressed with their food. So, when I…read moresaw their booth at the Labor Day, weekend barbecue cookoff in Sparks, I decided to give them a try. I was not let down at all. I chose a platter with three ribs, hot link, cornbread, and for my sides, I chose their "porky beans", and coleslaw. Everything was amazing The ribs were succulent, and fall off the bone, tender, and the barbecue sauce was rich and tangy. The hot link had a good flavor, and had just enough of a "zip" to it, then it got my attention. There was a good amount of pork in the beans, and I'm not sure what was in the sauce, but it was rich and delicious. The coleslaw was nicely, dressed with a little bit of pepper in it. The cornbread had just a little bit of a "sweet" to it, which I really like. It was also very tender. It didn't need any butter, or anything. This amazing meal, they only charged me 20 bucks. Worth every penny! Next time, I want to head into the restaurant to try some more of their offerings. Thanks for a great meal.

First was an issue of no fresh coffee available. (we opened an hour ago and you're the first coffee being ordered so we will take 15 minutes to make some) And the 2nd but most glaring problem is the fact that the order taker did not order my side of ribs. That, and my wife's order of a cup of chili arrived for her 1/2 way thru her meal. My ribs arrived after I finished one of the larger steaks they offer (again the steak was nicely done) and I really wanted to enjoy the steak and swine together. So I sent it back and they did adjust the cheque accordingly. Additionally, I didn't like the rice I ordered. I was thinking rice pilaf and what I got was.... out there to be nice about it. Just not my thing. Ok you got me in the door but I won't go back. It's always a red flag to me when I see that one person is a hostess, another seats you, a third is the order taker (and provides the cheque), while a 4th is just a runner delivering food to a table number with no idea what was actually ordered and if there was any special instructions associated with the entree such as no dairy etc. An absolute fail I'd rather spend $20 more a head and go to Churrasco's, Brazilian steak house - it Puts "texas" style to shame I gave you a chance and the staff failed at most every turn
