We regularly print things like vinyl banners, foam core signage, posters, and palm cards/brochures. Every so often we have something extra fancy, like a chrome-foiled folded menu for a formal event, or a large format newsprint zine with vibrant photography. Staff is always incredibly attentive and knowledgeable. They provide options for new projects we dream up, bring us samples, and share photos of test prints so we know we're getting exactly what we want. The personal relationship we've built makes new projects less stressful, because we know Design Printing will always help us out! They save us when we need to print last minute, and are always willing to work something out if a mistake is made. I appreciate that they quickly work to find a solution when there's a mistake, instead of telling us there's nothing they can do because the event is the following day, etc. I highly recommend you build a relationship with Design Printing! We ordered 250 yearbooks, but they offered up another 22. They ended up helping us immensely, offering us cheaper prices for their overtime work when we made mistakes, offering discounts for the additional labor needed to fix the design files... Overall they helped some students who had no clue what they were doing produce some pretty awesome prints. Everyone at Indie Printing we worked with was incredibly responsive and helpful, especially with a few paper sizing/dimension challenges we ran into. I couldn't have remedied it myself! A simple print job was complicated and I was overcharged. I needed to print two documents; one was…read morea 31 page workbook for class, and the other was a two page document. I asked if I can print from their desktops, and I was told printing can only be done on the printer behind the counter. I told the rep twice that the 31 page document needs to be printed on front and back, and she proceeds to print it out on one sheet, and then said "that option is not available" after the job was halfway done. She then charged me for 31 pages when that's not what was requested (it was supposed to be 15-16). My goal was to have it like a workbook like it was intended, and now I can't even staple it together cause it's twice the size and too thick. The other document was two pages and she only printed one page and said my USB only has one sheet. I was confused since I knew it was two pages, but she insisted that there's only one page on the document. I get home and lo and behold, it's a two paged document as I thought. I like that this place is local, but I find that it's always some type of complication whenever I come here.
