I was attempting to move a very heavy and big speaker box....didn't lay it flat in the back seat because I'm an idiot and when I went around a corner, it tipped over and completely smashed (and was partially sticking thru) a quarter window on my VW GTI. I called Brite Glass in a panic and Maddie immediately assisted me. Long story short, getting a driver's side quarter window for a 2015 GTI is nearly impossible. I was beginning to think it might be easier (and probably cheaper) to just go buy a new car. But Maddie kept at it and was able to find a replacement window w/VW's help, and my car should be repaired in 10 days for what I feel was a pretty reasonable price considering how hard it was to find the part. After replacement in future, will update my rating for a 3rd time. A few years back, I had a crack in my windshield and called this place because it had the best reviews. They set me up with an appointment right away for the following day. I dropped it off on the way to work and on the way home after work. They told me," make sure to have a window cracked for a couple days." I did that and actually left it in the garage for 3 days and took our spare car. A little over a week went by and I wanted to get a car wash. So I did the drive through and as I was going through, a ton of water started to pour into the cab of the truck. The only thing I could think of was the window. I took it back and they said they would work look into it. It's been about another week or 2 and got another car wash and guess what, water rolled into the cab of the truck. Not as bad as the first time, but still not good. Called them up and brought it in. They said they would replace the entire windshield this time. Got it back and took it for a wash a week later and no leak. Today, I took my truck somewhere else because I wasn't happy about last time.... well... I pick up my truck today and the tech asked me," uh.... who did the window the last time? Did you and your buddy think you could do it?" I laughed and asked why? He said,". It was a complete hack job and there was so much glue that we can't get all off. There was rust all under the moldings and couldn't be seen until it was removed." I was blown away! I said,". You're lying to me!" Then he showed me the pictures.... First of all, someone actually answers the phone!!! My rear view mirror had come off, and needed it glued back on. The window has chipped just a little. A couple other places said I needed a new windshield without even looking at it. I called Brite Glass and brought it in. I didn't need a new windshield, and it was repaired in maybe 10 minutes. Shameful customer service. I brought in a small mirror that Brite Glass had made for me previously. I asked Marissa to get it duplicated, "another one just like it". A week later it was ready and I was charged $20. But it was not the same, with sharp edging and pointy corners--not at all like the first one. I was told that to duplicate the original would would have to be special order, $62. Okay, fine. I'll pay it. But I asked to get some consideration for what I spent on the first one and pointed out that the mistake was largely theirs. Anything, even $10 back would have sent me away a happy customer. Nope. Not a chance. Curt attitude and no consideration or acknowledgement for my situation or money spent. I will take my business elsewhere. I don't care about the money and it's a basic job that any glass place can do. But the dismissive, "your-problem-not-ours" attitude was uncalled for. There are better places, go there. read more

Will never return to this business. Had windshield replaced then problems kept occurring with rain sensor. Made 3 or 4 visits back to fix or replace rain sensor pad behind rear view mirror. They make you feel your wasting there time because you don't know how to operate your car. And yesterday in a related issue I went to adjust my rear view mirror and it almost came off the window. In conclusion I spoke to the owner he told me what could they do? I said I am at my wits end having to take my car back this many times and I will never return. I told him they had there chance to fix it. I will definitely not recommend this business to anyone out there because of my experience. read more

Spending moolah to replace a windshield is a bummer, but Brite Glass had very competitive pricing and such fantastic service, that it was not as painful as I expected it to be. Drove around with a tiny hole in my windshield from a pebble on the road for 2 years while living in Cali and the first cold snap here in Reno inspired a thick crack across the entire widow in 24 hours. Ugh. I called Brite Glass for a quote and then called several other companies. I came back to Brite Glass because they had the best pricing and the gentleman I spoke with was incredibly helpful and nice. $220 out the door which included replacing the seal. Some companies use the old one or charge extra for a new one on top of a more expensive quote. I dropped my car off, they gave myself and another customer a ride to work (which was close) and I picked it up a few hours later. Such a super easy process!
