I took all the steps to get rid of them however its been quite the task cleaning up after them. Finally I had complained to my son and he was able to find Standard Cleaning online and Sue picked up late on a Sunday. She was very nice and listened to me complain about all of my problems I was having. She was very polite and said she could make me the first appointment for Monday morning the very next day! I was shocked. When she came in she brought all of her own supplies. Explained to me how to properly take care of mice droppings and gave me some helpful tips on how to keep mice out of my house. Did you that you can use peppermint oil on a cotton ball and place them in areas the mice are coming in and it repels them? I sure didn't. Apparently the mice are allergic to it. Just another fun fact that Sue shared with me. She used all organic cleaning supplies to safeguard my airways as well knowing I had pneumonia. I mean, who does that?! I was beyond impressed and to top it all off, she cost less than another cleaning service I've ever received. Kudos to my son for finding her but what else can I say about Sue. It's a Friday and now we need someone quick so we can have water for the weekend. We called a lot of plumbers and some said we had to pay overtime even tho it was one o clock on a Friday. Ray's plumbing came within 45 min of me calling and we hired them on the spot. Ricky was the guy he was so nice and friendly super knowledgeable and put us at ease right away. Before anything else, their first responder, Christian, did a quick health survey -- asthma, allergies, immune compromised household members? They came prepared. That meant a lot to our family and honestly set the tone for everything that followed. The crew arrived that afternoon, introduced themselves, walked through their scope for the day, and then proceeded to professionally protect every floor, wall, and personal item in sight before getting to work. They worked in 100-degree heat, in a garage tent with industrial drying fans blasting, and stayed until 7pm on a Friday night. On a FRIDAY. These people have my respect forever. Each evening you get a full inventory and walkthrough of the day's work plus what's coming next. PMs arrived every afternoon to check progress. I'm convinced they swept up every last speck of dust before they left, the house was cleaner than before they arrived. The only reason I even went with them was because of the impressive plumber I met with that recommended them. They came that night and helped initiate the process of drying the next day. Noah Lopez was the rep and was my contact initially. I saw 3 restoration companies that day and 3 plumbers so I had a decent idea how of much water damage, estimated time of deconstruction and reconstruction. A lot of companies get a bad reputation because they try and tear up as much as possible and I thought Express Dry was different but I was proven wrong. After a few days of drying, they all of a sudden discovered that my tiles were 30-99% saturated and they had to rip them up which would add another 2 weeks of work. I was confused on how this was NOT spotted initially by them or any other company I saw that initial day of interviewing. Everyone commented on how I should be lucky that the tiles didn't get wet. So obviously I called BS on them. They tried several scare tactics by having me sign some hand written statement that I would be liable and having multiple try and convince me to remove the tiles. Thank God I got a second opinion and had an outside company return to check for water damage and they too once again confirmed that tiles weren't wet and even if they were, there are other options that don't involve tearing up the tile. I thought I was getting a company that looked out for me but they were obviously looking to rip off the insurance company and make money for them. Noah tried to convince me not to contact my insurance company myself and he would do it all for me but I'll glad I called my insurance while he was present. I think that made him upset because after that, he went from being pleasant to being irritated, especially after the process began and I attempted to contact him. Due to rain our job got pushed back a a few weeks but he communicated that with us. His team showed up on time and took care to prep everything and they were friendly and reliable while here. His bid was reasonable with the others I received, not the lowest...not the highest. The Cons: As far as the quality I would have to say that was sub par. Our home was going through a drastic change from dark brown to white over T1-11 siding. Our alcove entryway had already been painted white (by myself and our painter) to test the color and that is what Glen saw when he bid the job. That is what I was assuming the whole house would look like once painted. On completion day with Glen's team, as I started my final walk through I noticed all the lines on our siding where still brown. Making the house look vertically striped. Glen's response was "that's next level and you didn't ask for that." Through that 10 minute conversation he informed me that it would be hours more work that would cost us $600-$1000 more and it would have to be rescheduled for weeks out. Plus it would change the spray finish of the house as they were doing it after the fact. Mostly he persuaded me away from that as he really didn't want to do the extra work. He repeatedly blamed us 9 more times that we should have told him that's what we wanted. Now that we have been educated (by another painter) on how the job should have been done we are paying to have those areas repainted to the quality I would have been happy to pay for in the beginning had I known. Glen's customer service skills are severely lacking and he doesn't stand by his work. I expect an experienced painter to be able to convey to a homeowner what the outcomes can be. For that I would only recommend Glen for jobs where quality is not of importance.

He had some very helpful ideas on how we could color scheme things. His ideas were spot on. He had a large crew show up on the day he promised and where done in the timeframe he set. His crew was friendly and hard workers. All in I couldn't be any happier with the work Glen and his crew did around my house. They met or exceeded my expectations.
