Through a series of events that took me across the country to Seattle, I have been longing for a proper bread pudding. This week I came home for a week and scheduled to have this bread pudding shipped to me. I almost don't have the words to describe how good the bread pudding was after 8 seconds in the microwave. You could see the morsels of white chocolate and the bread pudding melted in your mouth. Although I'm on a little diet I will absolutely enjoy these two 9" puddings that I've pressed (with my family of course). The service was excellent. It was shipped and arrived without a scratch, and perfectly iced in one day. No picture yet as one has already been sliced and the other is in the freezer waiting for my flight back home.

She discussed the assortment of cookies, brownies and cupcakes available for purchase (on display). Everything is baked fresh daily. There is also a small selection of Blue Bell Ice Cream products. The space is clean. There is an extended seating area. Space is available to rent for a child's birthday party. The is an assortment of games. The owner has even included a backdrop for selfies. I decided to purchase a brownie and some sherbert. I enjoyed both. I hope this business continues to thrive.

I saw on Facebook that Peterbrooke Chocolatier is having their grand opening today, so I had to go check it out. Boy, am I glad I did! They had samples galore due to the grand opening and I got to try several of their yummy selections, including chocolate covered pretzels, chocolate covered pineapple, chocolate covered strawberries, chocolate covered rice krispie treats, etc. While they will not have the same variety of samples on the future outside of the grand opening event, I was told that they will always have a plate of samples out close to the register! They have milk chocolate and dark chocolate for sure....and I am sure white chocolate but I didn't pay attention to that since I am not a white chocolate kind of gal. I can honestly say their milk chocolate is quality stuff. You can definitely tell the difference, no cheap imitation here! Also, they have gelato available in the store.....I want to say at least 10 flavors? I forgot to get an exact count, but they look delicious. Also, and this is a big one for me, they have chocolate caramel green apples. Yes, they do! So there is only one other store in Birmingham that I know of with chocolate caramel apples....but it's no good as the chocolate the other store uses is just not up to par and leaves a funny taste. I eat a lot of chocolate caramel apples and currently I mail-order them as I expect them to be of certain quality. However, I am really excited to try Peterbrooke's chocolate caramel apple next time I make my way there as I already know they have quality chocolate from the samples today! It would be fantastic if I can find a local store with awesome chocolate caramel apples! Anyway, so the fact that my phone glitched and I have no good photos for Yelp other than the one I "borrowed" from their Facebook page and the one I took after I got home of the goody bag they gave out at their grand opening today is the perfect excuse to go back and visit them again....very soon! I decided to call the local store to confirm they would accept the GC and the sweetest lady went above & beyond to help me place an order through the store's register. She sent me a screen shot for confirmation and mailed the GC that day, to family. They were so surprised & pleased! Apparently the online e-Gift Cards can only be used for ONLINE purchases. So keep that in mind.
