I have never had one of their associates give me solutions/options when I didn't there would be any. It's a smaller location but Mason took the time to find items that happened to be in the back. It's street parking so it can be tricky during peak hours (such as lunch time today). I'd return just for the service as they went above and beyond today.

I tried on a bunch of jackets and pants--shoutout to London at the fitting rooms, who was lovely! I initially left with a total of $381.58. But later, I noticed a couple of discrepancies: the jacket's discount was miscalculated and the pants were mislabeled as XS when they were actually smalls. After some research, I found the items for less on Amazon, so we called Hansens. My fiancé spoke with them, and they were willing to price match. Enter Patty, the awesome manager! Patty was incredibly kind and helpful--she matched the Amazon price and gave me a partial refund right on the existing order. I didn't even have to drive back to Encinitas or hassle with a return. Thanks to Patty Bolton and the team, everything was made right--and I'd absolutely recommend Hansens to anyone! 5 stars

I understand that the parking is for in-store customers only. But the moment I stepped out of my car, a woman came running out of the store and started yelling at me, saying the parking was for those businesses only. I hadn't even walked away from my vehicle yet, and she had no idea where I was going. For context, I'm a Type 1 diabetic, and my blood sugar suddenly dropped very low. In that moment, I urgently needed food or I risked being unsafe to drive. My boyfriend was with me, but he isn't insured on my car and doesn't know how to drive a manual--and she still insisted that I make him take my car. On top of that, it's not safe for me to be walking around alone when my blood sugar is that low. I calmly explained the situation and told her I just needed a quick snack and would be back in under five minutes. Despite that, she showed zero empathy and continued yelling. At that point, my priority was my health and safety. I also didn't feel comfortable leaving my car unattended given her aggressive behavior. I waited a few days to write this, but as a Type 1 diabetic, this situation was genuinely scary and upsetting. This happened Saturday in the late afternoon. Situations like this deserve more understanding and basic human compassion. Please do better.

I thought it was a motorcycle gear store and then stepping into was able to admire the painted surf boards, female and male apparel, second hand clothing, cool laid-back art...and the super surprise of a bondai shop or garden in the backyard. Most items in there are vintage designer so buying them brand new could easily be twice the price! Seeing BCBG, Max Mara, Prada, Italian/French labels and so much more is a rarity to find in San Diego. She has such a good eye for fashion it was hard to walk away from so many amazing items. I got a beautiful silky top that is amazing quality and cut. A designer top like that currently sells for $1,185 and I got it for $130. Really great considering it's vintage, will last a long time while supporting a small business. Will definitely be coming back! Found some amazing shoes too.

Google image searched an item selling for $60, found the Chinese manufacturer after more digging for a fraction of that.
