In decline since my last visit: The breakfast sandwich was OK. The service was disappointing. My friend & I were surprised to find it practically empty on a Saturday afternoon; and even though it was empty, nobody stopped by our table like they had just done at another one. Also, they left our food on the counter for us to pick it up and we were never called or buzzed. It was clear to me that they just didn't care about our table. Not much of an atmosphere other than the train backdrops. The place could use some background music. It was so quiet that my friend & I felt that we needed to whisper so we didn't disturbe the other two tables. It's a shame. I went to Coffeville Brookfield for the first time today! It has a small parking lot attached. The inside is decorated very creatively, set up like a train station! They have a selection of coffee mugs, coffee beans, and tea available for purchase. They offer both food (savory and bakery) and drinks (coffee and smoothies). I got an iced almond milk caramel macchiato, which cost $11 - a little steep. Although the coffee was delicious, I'm not sure yet whether it is worth it. read more

I love local coffee shops and would rather spend my money locally than at one of the national places. But dang, be prepared to have it fly out of your wallet here. Medium iced lattes without extra flavoring for over $6 seems a bit excessive. No artistry required with fancy latte art; Brew, ice and pour milk. Flavor seemed a bit off. The latte tasted burnt which was unexpected. If I go back, I'll be trying something different. Service was friendly and that's what earned them the 3 stars. read more

A cute coffee spot with a lot of space for seating - groups, individual, outdoor, indoor, etc. I like their little shop area, too, though the coffee is not priced and the folks behind the counter weren't able to tell me how much a bag would be (which was odd, but I didn't push it). As others have noted, the prices are higher, but the coffee was good and a normal variety. WE didn't have any of the food, but it looked good. We'll be back. read more

Coffeeville is an adorable cafe in Brookfield! They have breakfast and lunch items. I've been a couple times and my only complaint is that for what you're getting the prices are a bit on the higher end - although it is pretty good quality for the most part. The vibes are also very cute and makes you feel like you're at a train station. The staff is friendly and you typically get your food quickly but you can tell it's all freshly made to order. Would recommend stopping by at least once! One of the times I came they had live music which was very fun! read more

*Train Noises* Alllllll aboard!! In my ongoing quest to find great independent coffee shops in my local area, my train pulled into the Coffeeville station. This quaint little place is located, naturally, right next to some railroad tracks right off Brookfield Road. It is immediately evident that railroading is near and dead to their hearts with every square inch of the place decked out to look like your just about to catch a ride to the next station. I personally ordered the dark mocha, and it was absolutely divine. In top of this, the prices were actually quite reasonable! I highly recommend you pull your own train into this stop and try one of their many offerings. read more

Charming space. Honey bee latte was excellent. Lumberjack egg sandwich was almost a little too much. Too many things on it & too many flavors. Sometimes less is more. Also breakfast sandwiches were all similar. Maybe add a veggie one. First time visit and it was difficult to read menu with the departures & arrivals signage in the way. Cute idea however. We order the iced Ashley's Latte (proceeds go to Ashley who is fighting cancer) and a hot Royal Caramel Macchiato which came with a chocolate. Both drinks were very good. Strong coffee flavor not hidden under too much syrup. I also order the tomato bisque with a side of bread. The soup was chunky and delicious! The bread was soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. Amazing. Quick service. Knowledgeable staff that were able to answer questions. I stopped here for coffee one day to get some work done. It's an old railroad stop converted into a coffee shop. And it's adorable and charming inside. Look at the photos. The booths are actual railroad seats and each one has a little vintage suitcase attached. The "windows" are screens with scenes of Mary Poppins and trees and outdoors and it's adorable. You place your order at the counter just like any coffee shop. When I asked for their regular coffee, it was served to me barely warm. I told the young barista and she promptly brewed more and it was hot. I also ordered a wrap - and it tasted ok - but it was pretty sparse on ingredients and quantity - so that's my quip here. Also, the place closes early in the afternoon (before 5) But in terms of ambience and environment, it was lovely. A great idea. Not my favorite coffee - but I'd be willing to try again. I sat outside on the patio for a bit as well. There is a walking trail just right out of the front door of the premises. Great spot and creative concept. read more

3.5/5 I thought I reviewed this place since I've been here a few times, but wanted to hop on to say it took me a few tries to like what I'm experiencing here. Coffeeville is located in a cute town nook of Brookfield with Vino Cappuccino right across the street. The aesthetic takes on train station, with a departure and arrival counter and then the seating is old train station seats. They have a continuous animation for the windows of people walking by, and it's seasonally set. As for the drinks and food here, you pay a lot more for what you really get. The simple breakfast bites of an egg sandwich or the vanilla latte are somewhat overpriced for the flavors you're biting into. All that being said, with the meal and drinks here you pay for the ambiance and style of a coffee shop that takes on a unique theme. I don't think it's a place you'd come by without really looking for it. I would come here for matchas and flavored lattes. Not sure I've had the best experience with drips or Americanos. WiFi is available here for great for work if you're okay with the hustle bustle and kids around. Parking is available, can get packed on busy weekends. read more

What an adorable little coffee spot in Brookfield! Situated in what appears to be an old/historic train station, Coffeeville Company is serving up espresso beverages in addition to an array of breakfast and lunch items in a charming atmosphere. We stopped by on a Saturday morning and while it was definitely busy, we were able to find a table. The dining room is set up reminded me of a train dining car, complete with a series of screens that look like windows with a variety of scenes moving by. The also have suitcases beside each table to lean into the train station theme. The effect is adorable. I ordered a cheddar herb bagel with whipped cream cheese and a pumpkin spiced latte (that they serve year round here). Both were excellent. It's an order at the counter and they'll give you a buzzer when your order is ready sort of set up. The menu is on boards above the registers but is extensive and they have menus they can hand you as well (much easier). Will definitely be back to this darling Brookfield gem. Get to it! read more

It is just off a bike trail, so it would be a great place to take a break or stop by before/after. Adorable and cozy interior. And they had some fun merch as well. FOOD: I ordered the Farmer and a Caramel Macchiato (Medium). It came out to $17. It was delicious! The brioche wasn't too oily and was stacked nicely. Nothing was sliding around. The homemade ranch sauce is really good. I think the portions are appropriate. SERVICE: I forgot to take a look at my cashier's name but she was really sweet. The food came out relatively quick too. You get a nice lil handheld buzzer that goes off when your food is ready. I waited maybe 10-15 minutes. AMBIANCE: This is such a cute study spot. Walking in I was disappointed in the ambiance, the trash station near the entrance separating the order area and seats was overflowed with dirty dishes and needed to be cleaned and cleared away. I consider a $4.25 + tax small cup of tea to be pricey. Add a scone and over $10. This is not going to be my regular spot for tea. However, there is a nice patio and it is located at the mouth of a nice walking trail. Can't beat it when the weather is nice. This coffee place business is more of an experience with some Brookfield WI. area history. It involves their occupancy of the transformed old train depot. When you sit to enjoy sipping coffee, there are suitcases placed along side of the many station's booths. It takes you back in time. Many years ago as if you're going to travel by a passenger train. As evidenced by the individual video screened displays telling the story. Please, do not touch these screens the bottom of each, the small print says. So let's get to the specifics here. So, the small $3.50 sized coffee was tasting good. The breakfast sandwich called the ($10.00) "Engineer" (egg, ham, bacon & cheddar on a fresh toasted warmed bagel) was also very good. While everything has risen price wise generally speaking, it's a bit pricey because it's Brookfield. It looks as though in the shorter lived but nicer Wisconsin weather. They have like a garage type of a door that opens, and patio tables & seats outside. Overall, I'd recommend Coffeeville. I like the concept. It's pleasant with decent service. read more

Their egg sandwiches have no flavor at all. It says it comes with bacon & ham, the bacon was so thin you couldn't taste it and it was so under cooked. The ham was something you would get out of pick n saves deli, sliced thin. The eggs were either premade of instant. Not at all what you would expect for the money. The roast beef sandwich was good. I had it with cucumbers, lettuce & mayo on a hoagie roll. You get nothing with it, just the sandwich. The inside was cute, they turned the train station into the restaurant. Ripoff. $5 for a black coffee. $10 for an egg sandwich. It also took 8 minutes for them to pour the cup of black coffee and they had no cup sleeves so you can actually hold the cup. I've been here a few times now for breakfast and coffee and love this place! The ambiance is so unique and charming - if you like local history you will love it here. It can get loud inside when the seating area is more full, though - the acoustics in an old train depot aren't the greatest. :) We've tried the cinnamon rolls, baked oatmeal, and the Mechanic and it has all been delicious.
