Right on Brady St in downtown Milwaukee, this is the BEST spot to grab tea in the city. Black? Green? White? Herbal? They have every kind of loose leaf you can ask for! Mostly sourced from Rishi, a local Milwaukee tea distributor. This spot marches to the beat of its own drum. Its mismatched furnishings and unique, energetic waitstaff are fitting for the east side. Whether working or having a conversation, there is no better spot for a cup of tea!

Stopped in Rochambo today and got the Insightful mocha for this afternoon's kick! Thank you Sofia for the delicious drink!

The saddest thing about leaving downtown Milwaukee is leaving Rochambo. We live in Austin, TX now and make it a point to go here EVERY DAY when we are in town. Brian is truly just a wonderful human being and the chocolate chai is to die for! We highly recommend stopping at this place because they literally have every kind of drink you can imagine. Even some with spirits :) Until next time - lovely place in my dreams...

This is likely my favorite coffee shop in Milwaukee. I love the eclectic decor and unique menu. I usually order an iced latte with honey. However, now that they've started serving matcha, I've been changing it up. Their staff is also wonderful shoutout to Shelby and her coworkers for always being so wonderful every time I visit!

Honestly just walked in here because we arrived early for our reservation next door and needed to kill some time. I didn't expect much from the coffee shop, but was pleasantly surprised. The shop offers different types of coffee, tea, and alcoholic beverages. Sometimes when you go to a random coffee shop and they offer a huge list of flavors, you either don't taste the coffee or you don't taste the flavors. That's not the case here. Our drinks were very well made. You could taste the coffee and the actual flavors in your drink. The staff was very friendly and I definitely plan on coming back here next time I am in MKE!

I visited Milwaukee on Labor Day weekend 2023. I was charmed by Rochambo and its college-y atmosphere, a little library of books, great posters, and icy drinks on the last day of August. If I come back to Milwaukee, I'll be sure to ask my friend if we can stop by Rochambo once more!

How could I forget about Rochambo. It's like your favorite coffee shop from your college days but with booze and a kind of hipster atmosphere and also it's on Brady Street with all that entails. I'm not just giving them stars because they're open on Thanksgiving (in 2019) but it is nice. I should really come more often. They have coffee, alcoholic drinks, and alcoholic coffee drinks. I'm usually here during the regular-coffee part of the day. Their lattes and mochas are good. But I have had their "the best" Irish coffee and it's delicious too. In addition to the coffee and booze they also have a pretty extensive tea selection. It's loose leaf and they give it to you in kind of a bag with a stick attached for easy removal. You can have all the hot water you want with your tea so you can linger awhile. There's also a small, eclectic selection of local goods up by the register. It's a place that's very representative of Brady Street, with the uneven wood floors and local characters and usually pretty good music playing. If you're on Brady and going to drink coffee anyway, give these guys your money.

I found a table where I could get some work done while sipping a properly constructed cappuccino. It's a unique cafe, I much prefer independent coffee shops to bigger chains. Parking a car is a challenge around here, so it's maybe a better bicycle destination or walk over here. An eclectic compendium of regulars but far enough away from my little table that no one was able to distract me. Close enough that when I needed a break I could eavesdrop for entertainment. Good music at a volume that I could get some work done and if I ever came here with someone I could have a conversation. I wonder if there is barista anywhere in America that doesn't have a tattoo? Wouldn't that be unbelievably daring and iconoclastic to be a barista without any tattoos?

Super cool vibe, great coffee, very reasonable prices. Ton of drink choices, including teas, coffees, cordials and cocktails.

Rochambo has an eclectic vibe with a wide variety of drinks, teas, and alcoholic items too. We went with a simple dirty chai and it tasted like a iced latte with lots of milk. Disappointed for the price point as it lacked any flavor besides espresso. May have been an off day as the place seems like a local favorite.

Found this cool place on Christmas Eve on Brady Street! I have to be honest I called around a few places trying to find somewhere that was serving eggnog and when we couldn't find a place we decided to try Rochambo for the spiked coffee. I love discovering Milwaukee because you can literally find a melting pot of coffee shops and restaurants. Rochambo was perfect for our Christmas Eve morning because we really just wanted a casual place to have some spiked coffee and talk without the trendy couches, yoga pants and loud music. Rochambo fit the bill! The charm of this place are the mismatched tables and chairs, the drink selection and the friendly staff. I had an Irish coffee which was the second best I have ever had (sorry the first is on Fisherman's Wharf in San Fransisco...and who can compete with that?) BUT it was straight up delicious and heavenly. There is something about Irish Whiskey in the morning that makes the day go better ;) Hubby had The Snowflake which had White Godiva Chocolate, Espresso Vodka....and coffee. It is hard to tell which one of us won on the drink selection both were tasty! We bought some of their coffee to brew at home and now were are both hooked (sorry keurig). So if you are looking for a place to chill and have some great coffee this place is awesome. I think they had an upstairs as well but I didn't wonder that far! Parking may be a challenge....it is Brady Street but it is a quick Uber from downtown or the Third Ward.

Upstairs at Rochambo. You can look at the tops of people's heads!

The place: Rochambo is one of those gritty hipster coffee shops. The color and the art give it a creative feel. The second floor is perfect for camping out and working. When we were there, the music was a mixture of Asian instrumentals and jazz. Be warned: the second floor bathroom smells a little funky. The location: In the heart of Brady Street, good luck finding parking. It's available, but it's usually taken. You'd be better off taking the bus. The drinks: Delicious. I had the Mystic Mocha (mentioned by another reviewer) and it was the stuff of dreams. Beautiful taste--rich, satisfying. The service: Kind and helpful. We brought our own mugs and the batista was concerned about underfilling them so she offered to make more for us. We declined, but it was really cool of her to offer. The cost: Yiiiiikes. It hurt a little. For the 2 fancy espresso drinks, I spent $12. It looked like the drip coffee was under a dollar which is amazing (I wish I'd tried it just for reference). Is this the place a frugal college student should frequent? Perhaps not. But is it a place for a special coffee concoction? Sure. Next time: I need to try a chai chata or an Irish coffee. Other reviewers mentioned them but I wasn't in the mood over the weekend.

He ordered a chorizo breakfast burrito and I ordered the egg white breakfast burrito. His burrito was definitely a lot better than mine and just had much better flavor. I was trying to be healthy and honestly should've just gotten the chorizo breakfast burrito like him; mine was made with egg whites and had kale. Since this coffee shop is located inside the Public Market in the Third Ward, it was very crowded when we visited. We were able to place our orders right away, but there were easily twenty people waiting for their drinks. The baristas clearly had a lot going on, yet they handled the rush extremely well. Everything still moved smoothly, and the crowd was surprisingly patient. I ordered a 20 oz iced caramel latte ($6.75), and it was incredible. It was so creamy and rich and reminded me of those Werther's caramel coffee hard candies in the best way. My friends all took a sip of mine and ended up liking my drink more than their own, which made it even better. Honestly, this was one of the best lattes I have ever had. Despite the busy atmosphere, the quality of the drink and the efficient service really stood out. I would absolutely come back the next time I am in the area.

I ordered a London Fog Tea Latte, with a little lavender and a little vanilla, in a mug. The barista did a nice job and gave the tea a good long steep. It had excellent flavor, and the temperature was right (about 140°F). It would have been even better with a bit more foam on top. For bakery items, they had a big pile of large cookies (cowboy?), but not much else. The food menu is a little sparse but has some good options for breakfast or lunch sandwiches. I ordered a Cubano sandwich, which turned out to be an excellent choice. It came out hot, with nicely grilled bread and savory meats inside. The roasted pork was especially tender and flavorful. It came with a small container of slaw, which was a little uninspiring. Service: The person who took my order and made my drink did a nice job. She took her time and did a good job with the drink. I appreciated that they delivered both the drink and the food to the table. She was a bit soft-spoken and a little hard to hear with the music playing. Efficient, but not especially outgoing. Atmosphere: The space has a bit of an industrial minimalist feel. High ceilings with the mechanicals in plain sight, along with colorful paint and design elements. Seating can accommodate groups of different sizes, though there aren't too many spots ideal for couples. The space can be a bit echoey, and the volume of the music could make conversation challenging at times. It's a nice spot for groups to hang out, and there was a larger table where people were working and collaborating. A decent spot for hanging out at lunch or later in the afternoon.
