I like an especially bold cup of coffee, and the person who took our order was knowledgeable in helping me narrow down what I should get, and offered a sample of a couple of their coffees so I could pick what I wanted. I got my cup in a real mug which always ups the coffee drinking experience, so glad they had those available for folks drinking-in. It's a comfortable, well-designed space that was busy enough to feel like it was a fun place to be, but not so crowded that we couldn't easily find a table. It's a chain, but a local chain with a handful of locations around town. Loved my coffee and the experience.

We were able to place our orders right away, but there were easily twenty people waiting for their drinks. The baristas clearly had a lot going on, yet they handled the rush extremely well. Everything still moved smoothly, and the crowd was surprisingly patient. I ordered a 20 oz iced caramel latte ($6.75), and it was incredible. It was so creamy and rich and reminded me of those Werther's caramel coffee hard candies in the best way. My friends all took a sip of mine and ended up liking my drink more than their own, which made it even better. Honestly, this was one of the best lattes I have ever had. Despite the busy atmosphere, the quality of the drink and the efficient service really stood out. I would absolutely come back the next time I am in the area.

It's the service that separates them from the others. Every morning Mike yells out, "BARRY!" Mike and Matthew (when he is there) really work hard on getting to know everyone and makes it a point to remember what you do, like, your interests or asks about your weekend. Ask yourself, when was the last time you experienced that? I usually go for their dark roast. Recently, I tried the pour over (it takes more time to make) and the flavor and quality is much better if you have the time. Today, I wanted to try the Booster Bites,on-the-go energy in bite sized portions made with nuts, seeds and dried fruit. They are supporting this brand by selling this from their cart. They also donate 10% of their profits to a charity each month. The accept debit and credit cards too. Bring in your own cup and get a discount. I love sandwiches and knew I had to try the pastrami. It was fantastic. I've been trying to cut back on caffeine and I instead went with one of their refreshers on the menu. It was I believe and 'Blue and Grapefruit' - and that wasn't my favorite as someone who doesn't really care for grapefruit that much. The cold brew got a unique herbal and earthy taste and naturally sweet long lasting aftertaste - I thought some people would like the herbal part while others would avoid it. There's also a nice line of coffee beans from different countries and at different roast levels for purchase. The pastries were very good. Nice pairing with the coffee.
