I noticed a couple shelves with items for sale, likely from local small businesses. It can get really loud in here, which is to be expected with the high ceiling and large open area. Unfortunately that also means it can be difficult to have a conversation with people at your table. I chose to visit for lunch since I was in the mood for something light and new to me. What I did not expect was to leave still hungry. I ordered the equivalent of a caprese sandwich, however the tomato slices were so thin, the cheese sparse, and the pesto was almost nonexistent - if not for the green stain on the bread, I'd have thought they forgot to even add it. Definitely not a sandwich worthy of the $13 price tag. No complaints on the drinks. I wouldn't mind stopping in again sometime for coffee, but if you're hungry for more than a bakery case item, you may wish to go elsewhere.

The menu features a good amount of options for different coffee and tea drinks with various syrups and extras. There are a couple of seasonal type specials too. There is a small bakery case with treats from Beans n Cream in Madison, but there isn't much food otherwise. A couple of Kind and Cliff Bars. There is a basket for food pantry donations as well and a local business bulletin board. When we stopped in shortly after 8am on a Saturday morning there was a steady flow of people. The line moves pretty quick and our order was ready in a short amount of time. I got an iced chai latte and my husband got a London fog latte and a breakfast scone. The scone was alright, filled with classic breakfast flavors, but not our favorite. The staff were great in explaining where the bakery items come from and so friendly. I do wish they had some other food items available but for coffee/tea, it's a great stop! Overall a good coffee shop but I wouldn't really stop in for more than that. I would stop again for a drink!

I don't think that there is a wall that dosnt have some positive affirmation of sorts. It has a very authentic feel, and a maximalism approach. The air condition works just fine on a summer day but I did opt for the outdoor seating. The messages on the window are what the community needs to hear, "You are Loved" and "slow the frick down". This place really seems all inclusive. I was impressed that there IS a baby changing table in the bathroom. We tried the iced mocha, lemonade, and peach parfait that was left, because a lot was sold out. The iced mocha didn't stand out to me, but maybe that because I do like my coffee on the sweater side. The lemonade was wonderful, tasted "home made" without any pulp. We did add some of the simple syrup that was available on the table to sweeten it up just a bit. I've found that it can sometimes be served a little cooler than I prefer. This time I asked for it extra hot, and it came out at about 130°F, which is just at the low end of what I consider acceptable for a hot latte. They also had their London Fog Milk Bread available that day. What a great pairing with the latte! Since the weather was beautiful, we grabbed one of the many outdoor tables and enjoyed our morning outside. Another excellent experience.
