Taquitos were good, fajitas were good too. The chili con queso was very spicy, too hot to eat. Customer service was less than ideal when we called to let them know about the chili con queso. Hopefully they'll actually do something about it, but the manager even said he didn't like the chili con queso. So my recommendation would be to maybe avoid that menu item. read more

We came in for the Taco Tuesday deal and I was quite excited because the pictures of the menu looked enticing. We didn't get a chance to try the margaritas but we might be back for them sometime soon. I was content with my meal for the price and liked that the bar was sectioned off from the dining area. The slices of cake they serve are huge so if you're in the mood for dessert, this might be your place! Our service was just fine as well. Dinner with our toddler can be difficult, but our waitress, Diana, ensured we were totally taken care of: getting us crayons and coloring pages, apple juice for our daughter, and just being understanding and attentive. Here's my review as a worker. When I worked here, it was excellent until they decided to strike me unprofessionally. The general manager there slaps down strikes like it's mentioned in the interview or something. It was never said that strikes would be given once you start working. I have and had the right to protected strikes, which exercise my rights as an employee to be protected against dismissal solely based upon participation. However, I never participated in protected strikes or unprotected strikes, or even strikes as a whole; in other words. I never signed an at-will contract. These people fired me claiming that I met my third strike. But they've completely got the idea of strikes wrong. Which is really funny to me. They are engaging in unethical behaviors, and if it continues at this rate, this location could also be shut down. read more

We have been dining at Broadneck Grill for about a year now and always have had an excellent experience. The food is prepared how we like it, and it's the best Mexican food we have had since moving to Annapolis. The servers are very attentive and we've never had to wait a long time to have them stop by our table to ensure we have everything we need. The wonderful manager, Hayley, has also stopped by to make certain that our dining experience is top rate. I have seen her doing the same thing with other diners and she is always polite, helpful and seems to love her job. She is terrific. I wanted to acknowledge the outstanding service at Broadneck Grill & Cantina during a Sunday brunch. The staff were courteous and prompt. Once seated, a waiter was out to take our drink ordered within minutes of being seated. We decided to order drinks and food at the same time since we had our kids with us. We ordered the house margaritas special and must say they were delicious and well made. Food arrived shortly after. The kids shared a huge chicken quesadilla entree while we got the beef enchilada and steak salads for our meals. I was thoroughly surprised by the size of the enchilada so it was as large as a burrito. Portions were massive and definitely worth the cost. The dining experience was ideal for a Sunday afternoon meal with the family. In additional to the wonderful service we received while dining in, I also want to take the time to acknowledge the general manager, Odessa. I realized I left my credit card in the payment folio the next day. We live 45 minutes away and were in the area visiting family that day. Odessa promptly offered to mail my credit card back to me. I graciously accepted and appreciate the extra little customer service Odessa provided. Looking forward to visiting Broadneck Grill & Cantina again this summer. read more

So when I looked up this place, it looked like a Mexican restaurant, but then they also sell burgers, sandwiches and wings, so it's not entirely Mexican. Still, I think Mexican is their specialty, so we ordered the Super Pick A Dippa for an appetizer (comes with Salsa, Guacamole, and Queso) and that was surprisingly really good! Guacamole can be iffy at restaurants, but it was pretty good here and so was the queso. Salsa was whatever, but it's normally whatever to me anyway. For my meal, I ordered the Spinach Burrito and added Sour Cream and Guacamole to it and it was so good! Since moving here from California, it's been hard for us to find a decent Mexican restaurant, and I know I've only been here once, but I'll for sure be here again! This and Mexican Cafe (in Annapolis) are now my favorite Mexican restaurants in the area. Mexican cafe has better queso, but their burrito size is much smaller than at this place. The serving size here is much more worth it to me (but it also costs more). However, Mexican Cafe lets you create your own burrito, meaning I can really get all the things I normally like in a burrito. I've only been to both places once, so for now, they're both a tie for me in terms of great Mexican food in the area. read more

Pleasantly surprised with this establishment, sat at the large bar, one seat left, plenty of table space inside and out will a good crowd. Started with a Goose, then had a top shelf margarita with chips and salsa, all good. Dinner was a shrimp, broccoli, rice dish that I thought was excellent, plenty to eat and brought some home and made a nice lunch next day. Great spices and the number and size of the shrimp was more than expected and that made me happy! Service was great and very attentive, friendly people that made for a great dinner, that is until I saw that America basher soccer player with the purple hair on TV who feels she has to take all of the attention away from the team and put herself center stage, but thank God the food was great otherwise I would have had to toss my cookies! Broadneck Grill catered my bf's birthday a few weeks ago. Donna's menu was outstanding as she chose options perfect for a 2pm till whenever time frame on a warm summer afternoon. The spiced shrimp, watermelon mint salad, pasta salad and more had us at hello! The strawberry shortcake birthday cake was consumed in 10 minutes! So yummy. For a Friday evening on Memorial Day Weekend it couldn't have been better. Me - Single dad walks in with a 9yr old and 4yr old asking for the patio. Let's be honest - no one wants this table. Kids suck. In my experience no one ever wants this table! They also don't know us... So THANK YOU KENDALL for not scoffing at us and instead greeting us with a beautiful smile and an overly warm welcome. Kendall asks me what I can get the kids started with so I let the kids order, she looks at me for confirmation and I roll with it: wings, fries, and cokes. I order a beer and she says she will be back in a minute. She comes back with food, cokes and my beer, I order the stuffed jalapeños and ask her for a recommendation. *rookie tip - ask the server, they are there way more than we are, they know what's up. As for Kendall, she won't steer you wrong. I ask what she likes - she says fajita burrito, tells me why, so I say go for it. It was exactly what she said it would be, I am 10lbs fatter after eating it. Super good! Stole a wing from the kids - on point. She got refills without prompt, before they were empty. Kids order a mud pie, I'm a sucker so I agree, take it home and it was epiiiiiiiiiic. I walked in anxious, having 2 kids, on a Friday at dinner time, on a holiday weekend...it's literally worst case scenario for me. Went in tonight for a quick club soda and my date got a cocktail, got immediate service at the bar from Brad. He was super friendly and attentive. It was pretty full with a crowd for the Wizards game, however Brad and the other really polite female bartender had the whole bar and bar tables under control. Clean atmosphere, food that came out to other bar guests looked fantastic! Even tho I wasn't hungry it prompted me to ask for a menu to see the goods. I've been eating at Broadneck Grill for years and maybe I've been lucky but my experiences have always been very pleasant. I usually get the chicken burrito and have never been disappointed! They use shredded chicken that for me is spiced just right. The flour tortilla is good quality and the ranchero sauce it's topped with is delicious. Even the sides of rice and black beans are good. I've never really had bad service here either. Always friendly and the food comes out quick. I even come in to visit the bar for drinks from time to time and the bartenders are always attentive and polite. Overall I always enjoy coming here. I usually love Broadneck Grill but after last night's takeout order experience I might be thinking differently. My wife, mother-in-law, cousin and I all ordered food from there last night. Now mind you three out of the four people ordering have been going to Broadneck Grill consistently since it opened. My wife, mother-in-law and cousin have been going to fajita and taco night with relative frequency since they were little. So we were more than dismayed when we got home and are order was wrong ( forgot the hot sauce that we ordered) and when looking at the bill we noticed that the gallon of non-alcoholic spiced tea was a whopping 18.99. That is ridiculuous. That's more than most alcoholic beverage pitchers let alone a gallon of tea. I understand that it is not coming out of the fountain or pre-made. But come on!!! Almost 20 dollars for a gallon of spiced tea that by the way comes in old sour cream containers with nothing provided to ladle it out with. That is absurd. Yes it is three dollars a glass in the restaurant but it is unlimited refills. UNLIMITED!!! I have gone through four or five glasses in a sitting no problem. We called last night after we got home and spoke with the woman answering the phone and verbalized are discontent. Especially since the price was never provided to us or posted online. Instead of rectifying the situation or at the very least apologizing, they could have cared less. We were in awe after being such loyal customers for such a long time. We couldn't believe the responses and continued conversing about it today. This evening I spoke with the manager on duty about this and aired my grievances and again was horrifed with her response. She as a manager could have cared less as well. She did not apologize or try to rectify the situation . Instead, she brushed it off and stated multiple times, "Well lots of people buy it at this price" as if that is justification for the egregious price gauging they are committing. It's highway robbery at it's core and they are preying unsuspecting customers during such a tumultuous time with the Covid crisis occurrings.Shame on you Broadneck Grill .
