I had booked a hydration facial for dehydrated skin. I didn't realize that this spa is more holistic in the sense that Yaz doesn't do extractions/use tools on your face besides strictly products. She had just moved so she was awaiting a package from the postman to hopefully arrive before we got started - so we started a little later than normal, which was fine. She ended up putting steam on my face for what felt like forever, but the steam blast was so strong and all of it was going up my nose & making it hard to breathe. She also did an oxygen exfoliating scrub that ended up getting inside my ears (and I left the spa still with this scrub inside my ears that I had to clean out). After my facial she told me that the products she used on my face were what I needed. She ended up recommending like, 7 or 9 different products that ended up costing $900. I felt like she didn't really give me an option of backing out or picking and choosing which products I REALLY needed, she kept saying "you'll use this and it will be so so good for your skin". I mean my skin did look good after. But a esthetician I went to afterwards said I was using too many actives in my products (that I bought from Yaz) and causing inflammation. Honestly, the less products I use, the better, because I don't have time to spend waiting 1-2 mins between each product to dry on my face.

Crystal responded fast and told me she could get me in the following morning (Saturday) I told her that wouldn't work because I had a redeye flight to catch. She rearranged her schedule and made it work! She made a special trip from Home back to her salon to assist me! She was fast, efficient, kind and very professional! I was in and out in 15 minutes flat! She even used a really cool setting powder so I did not feel sticky whatsoever. And whatever tanning spray she uses must be very high-quality because I slept in it and I didn't wake up feeling sticky or smelly like I have with other tanning solutions. lol. The color is perfect!!!!!!!! There are zeroooooo weird patches on my hands and feet which has never ever happened with previous tanning consultants I've gone to before! So like any/all places I try, i yelp'ed it, and saw that is had AMAZING reviews, so I decided to give it a try. I called to make an appointment and on the answering machine it said that I was able to text the phone number with any questions or to schedule an appointment. so I was able to make an appointment the next day via text, no problem. My appointment was at 11:30 today and I was seen by Brie,I told her my situation about how my dermatologist recommended I wax instead of shave due to skin irritation. Brie was so understanding, and professional the entire time! she engaged in pleasant conversation which really helped distract me for the minor discomfort i felt from the waxing process. She made me feel very comfortable, especially given the circumstance lol It really is not as painful and people make it out to be. I would say it was more uncomfortable then painful. The waxing process probably took about 20 min., if that. i am so happy with the result, i ended up making another appointment for next month!
