Lake Oswego Broadway Cigar Company, carries a great variety of sticks that range in price. You can enjoy a great smoke without breaking the bank. The chairs are comfortable, there is a front room and a back room with pool table and flat screen. The front room, with walk in humidor, also has a flat screen. The guys there are really good at helping make selections if you have never smoked a cigar before or have for several years. I have found their emphasis is on finding the right cigar for your taste - not trying to push the most expensive stick on you. What a relief! They also have a cigar club that meets once a month where education is the focus. This place was great! I went here around Father's Day to get a couple cigars for my dad as a gift. The owner (I assume) walked me through the humidor and helped me choose three cigars within my budget for my dad. I will say they seemed a little surprised to see me there but they did a great job and my dad loved the cigars. I'll come back next year to grab him a few more and it's a great place to get gifts for other cigar smokers in my life! read more

Called earlier today regarding some products I've been searching for, I thought this was a higher quality shop that might have a better handle on the market for ordering products but unfortunately they did not have or seem interested in carrying anything I was looking for. The individual was less than enthused to even pick up the phone of a potential customer. I can only assume this stores lack of inventory and disinterest in new customers or sales is likley due to to their limited stock, buying power, and poor business leadership. I am always very polite, but who ever took the phone could use some customer service lessons because when I end on "well thank you very much" I shouldn't be responded with "ok." Lame in my professional opinion to not say something like "I'll look into it have a nice day." Now you have a 1 star review. read more

Nice shop, includes a smoking area. Salesman was pretty clueless. He followed me into the humidor, asked if I was looking for anything special, and I asked for OPUS. He informed me that they didn't have any, but pointed me to the Fuente selection, which included two sizes of OPUS X, one of which, he said, was not for sale. I didn't bother to ask why it was on the display rack in the sales humidor, guessing he was brand new, even though he was at least 65. Their OPUS double corona was on sale for $100/stick, and they had 858(R) for $51/stick. Someone besides this guy doesn't know what they're doing! I just chuckled and walked out. The store I usually go to, Tobaccos of Hawaii, sells those same vitolas for less than half of those prices, and they have a 50% state tobacco tax (Oregon has a tax cap on cigars), so these guys are just straight ripping people off. Interesting place, nice location, but I won't go back, unless I win millions from a Nigerian Prince. read more

Went to buy cigars for a friend's birthday. I am not a cigar smoker for the most part, will partake if offered. The people here were extremely friendly and helpful. The owner asked me about my friend and how often he may smoke, then pointed me to a Padron brand from Nicaraugua. When I went to pay the second guy asked what was selected and when the owner told him he looked at me and asked if he could be my friend, too? That was a promising sign that I had purchased a good choice. (I also bought a couple extra so we could share with the birthday boy, too). This selection Padron Damasas was a hit. Mild and flavorful and long-burning. As amateur's we liked, and the our friend was very pleased. I would recommend Broadway Cigar Company and will return when seeking to purchase more in the future, for our friends or for ourselves. read more

I love coming here to kick back, smoke a cigar, and watch sports. My only complaint is the sales guy who follows you into the humidor to watch your every move like you are going to steal everything and then tries to upsell you after you grab the cigar you want. It happens every time. It is fun however, to walk quickly through the front door and straight into the humidor to watch him run. read more

Stumbled upon this location today, was thrilled to see another cigar purveyor, so I stopped in! Was immediately met with pushy salesman tactics and shockingly high prices. Never have I seen such mainstream sticks going for far above limited and boutique prices. We're talking $70+ for an Fuente eye of the shark, $50+ for LFD Bulls, $30+ for a T52 or No. 9, and the list goes on. Ridiculous. I've smoked limited or event only or special lines for a third or less of that. Massively up charging is not the way to go. In addition, the attendant would not stop challenging me on my taste preferences, and would not leave me and my girlfriend be despite several iterations of, "Thank you, we'll just be looking for a moment now." Once we were finally left in peace, we noticed that the humidor could really only be described as in disarray. After reading other reviews describing mildew on their sticks, I can understand why. After having such great experiences in tobacconists and cigar lounges all across the country on our week long road trip, this was a sour experience and poor taste left in my mouth. I would never go back to this place again. I spent over 45 dollars and three of my cigars I got had mildew on them. the cashier was more interested in watching TV and smoking cigars with his friends than helping anyone. Their walk in humidor was above 70 degrees if I'd have to guess it was probably about 75 to 78. Does the bad experience overall I would never suggest anyone go there to buy any cigars. read more
