I follow Regina M's definition of a good diner (from Saugerties Village Diner review): "Chrome and linoleum on the walls. Crushed stone "terrazzo" floor. Counter with stools and a case of baked goods. A 400 item menu large laminated menu Breakfast all day Clattering and talking and wait staff who are efficient and friendly Lastly, really good 'simple' food" And Broadway Diner checks all the boxes. The challah french toast was well worth it, though it was shaped more like a loaf of bread than a challah. A small criticism: Ask for the home fries crispy--mine were a bit limp. We both left full for $30.

Best diner in town by far. Good food, great prices. Omelettes are tasty and best home fries I've ever had. Highly recommended.

Excellent Greek food and breakfast. Attentive, friendly owners and staff. I prefer to eat at local restaurants and not chains.

Stopped into this quaint little family-owned-and-operated diner, and what a find! The staff were…read moreincredibly friendly and attentive. They even greeted one customer by name as they were being seated--a sure sign we may have stumbled onto a local favorite. We ordered the Monte Cristo and Cuban Panini, and boom... there goes the dynamite! The Monte Cristo featured homemade challah that made for an incredible French toast base. With shaved turkey and ham tucked inside, using French toast instead of the traditional fried preparation made it surprisingly light while still being completely indulgent. The Cuban was equally impressive. Perfectly pressed bread, chopped barbacoa, ham, pickles, and mustard came together beautifully. Every bite was packed with flavor. This place absolutely earned a spot in the regular rotation. Small, welcoming, family-owned, well priced, and serving up some seriously good food. Definitely worth a stop!

I eat at Queen City at least once a week, often more. The meals (mostly breakfasts but lunch and…read moredinners as well) have been delicious. The wait staff is extremely friendly and competent. While the decoration of the premises leaves a lot to be desired, the friendly, homey atmosphere overcomes the lack of an interior decorator's touch. Prices are very reasonable. For great food served by a wonderful staff all at an affordable price it will very difficult to beat Queen City
