Broadway Discount Auto Parts is referred to as "the old Napa" by the locals. I used to frequent this store, and I still come here for those hard-to-find parts (I stopped frequenting it because I have other stores closer to me). I stopped in today after searching other stores for an electrical part. The customer ahead of me was a flat out thug who was being rude and disrespectful to the owner, a Chinese man. The owner kept his cool and remained professional. I saw the owner gladly refund a large amount of cash to the thug, who continued running his mouth and giving the owner a hard time. The owner handled it like a champ. The owner was polite to me and spent a decent amount of time searching the computer for the part I was looking for. Unfortunately, he was not able to get the part I needed, but did advise me that only the dealerships sell it. That saved me a bunch of running around and Googling. My past experiences here have all been pleasant as well. You'll occasionally get undesirable customers in here who just want to argue. Unfortunately, that takes away from us customers who might need help finding a part. The prices here are competitive. Overall, this is a good store in a not-so-good neighborhood. read more

They can get parts for ANY car. Walter gives the best price for quality parts. He beats all the chains on price, yet only sells quality parts. He used to be a NAPPA dealer, but has since dropped that franchise, but he always used different sources to find the best price and quality. Entire staff is friendly, and knowledgeable. They speak Spanish as well if you need that. Great resource for the Hudson Valley, makes shopping the local guy not only the thing to do, but the wise thing as well. read more

I was doing an Oil change at Raul's auto just a few yard away from this shop and I came here to get a new drain plug for my car. Since my oil pan is an after market pan my drain plug size was different to the factory recommended size. I was discussing this matter with the individual who was helping me with my problem until some Chinese dude from no where (who clams to be the owner) jumped in and said "oh.. we don't have that". I mean wtf.. it's fine that you don't have the part but seriously have some sort of decency towards you customers.. at the end of the day it's just business and the reason you opened a shop in the first place is to do business right??. The owner of this company may have experience in running a business... however he is not trained on dealing with customers and he is EXTREMELY RUDE... I hope someday he realizes that being rude does not increase the value of his company or his business but infact does the exact opposite and the purpose of this review is to prove that point. I ended up going to Autozone and the people there were quite helpful and I managed to get the right size drain plug from there to complete my job. Horrible service, very rude. Bought a coil pack for my 2011 BMW 328 and I ended up not needing it, had it for 2 days never taken out of the box. So I attempted to return it and the owner treated me like I was mud on the ground when I stated I have no use for this, he said "that's you're problem".
