Any time I'm back in the bronx. Gotta stop by Broadway Joe's!
    George M.

Love coming here every time I'm back in my hometown, the boogie down bronx! It's clean inside, staff is friendly and service is generally quick. The food a good every time I come as well. I have had a couple of things from here. Calzones, white slices, buffalo chicken slices, pepperoni slices and sausage slices. All have been great, my favorites are the buffalo and white slices. I would highly recommend coming here and trying their food. I will be back soon, thanks Joe! Good to know info: -They do take credit card which is a big reason I love coming here as well. (most pizza places in The Bronx still don't) -Parking like most of The Bronx is tough here, especially with the island and bus stop outside. 1 train and Bx9 bus literally stops outside so it's easy to get there.

Huge slice of crispy crust pepperoni pizza - tasted great! Good location right by the subway.

When my friend told me he had a place in mind after our visit to the NYBG, he was filled with such hope and anticipation, I felt like I had already eaten pizza here at Broadway Joe's. He had many fond memories of eating here while he attended Manhattan College, and I was pretty curious to see if the "Stuffed meat" slice was worth the rage. I looked at the Slice app to see if Dave Portnoy visited, and sure enough, the 7.3 rating was there. Now, I was hungry and ready to be judgey. "Two stuffed meat slices, to go, and cut in half with a side of marinara sauce." I thought that was pretty particular, but the guy behind the counter didn't even blink with this request. I guess this is how you partake in this kind of slice. While we waited the whole 12-15 minutes, there was about 7-8 patrons coming in and out. I was really hungry and excited now, and these ranged from people of all ages. Will this pizza snob actually not stick her nose up in the air?! If you haven't had the stuffed meat slice, which is stuffed between two soft yet crispy pizza dough with pepperoni, sausage, and ground beef (think smashed meatball) with mozzarella cheese, you absolutely NEED to. Me: "oh damn." Him: "I told you!" Me: "I never finish my pizza crust; you know what that means." Him: "you're gonna write him up nice on Yelp?" Me: "I'm gonna write the HELL outta this place!" Look around the place while you wait; 50 years in business and survived COVID? This place should continue to be a permanent fixture in the area. Yes - you're worth driving to.

Pro: This is what New York City pizza tastes like! A relative of mine, who resides in the city, mentioned that there was no greater joy that grabbing a slice that takes one back to the 1980's prominence of the pizzeria. While I cannot attest to what 80's pizza tastes like, I can assure you that this 2022 version is AMAZING! The crust was enjoyable in its "crusty yet chewy" texture, the sauce was top-notch, and the cheese was as close to liquid gold as I may ever ingest. Con: It's a hike to get up to the north Bronx, unless you live in the north Bronx! Also, the dining area is a bit on the meager side. Grab and go! Bottom Line: A slice of heaven served in the Bronx!

Extra cheese pizza very thick lol

This is prob one of the best pizza you're going to find here in the Bronx. The prices are also way better than dominoes and the quantity and quality I find too be wayyyy better. I ordered mozzarella's sticks and unfortunately ate them all before I could remember to take a picture lol the hunger was real. But I can honestly say the 6pc for 5-6$ was worth it Very delicious fat and cheesy. The pizza in the other hand was also very very good the only thing I would say is be careful what you ask for. My bf ask for extra cheese and it was so thick that the cheese did not "melt off the pizza" it was so thick that I was all "cheesed out" lol there was also less sauce on it prob cause thats the only way they could get the cheese to stick lol. Overall very yummy food and cheap! I got an entire large pizza with 3 orders of mozzarella sticks and it was $21 a win win. Maybe I'll skip the extra cheese next time lol

Was really surprised by the quality here! It's right by the subway, seems to be the only game in town so why would they bother to excel? And it's popular among college students? The photos of the pizza don't even look that good. Yeah, all red flags for me. But I was ravenous, so I went for it, and I'm glad I did. Excellent crust, right amount of chew but still foldable without getting grease everywhere. Perfect sauce to cheese ratio, all ingredients were delicious. Go for it!

At first I went to Broadway Joe's to get pizza after track practice. Eventually I discovered the pasta menu. They have the best "baked ziti" I have had in a lifetime! I get the penne alla vodka with cheese all the time now. It is a fair price, too!

Good Pepperoni pizza, nice ambient very clean. They have a very clean bathroom. The personal is friendly. Perfect place to go and have a great time with friend.

Definitely had better tasting pizza @ other pizza shops. The pizza here lacks flavor and tomato sauce. To each his own but i'm not a fan.

Period…read more If you want to know what real New York City pizza is supposed to taste like, stop looking and get to Louie & Ernie's on Crosby Ave. This isn't just a meal; it's a Bronx institution. The Vibe: Old School & Authentic This place is as "old school" as it gets. It's located in the basement of a house, and walking in feels like stepping back into 1959. There are no fancy decorations or "artisanal" gimmicks--just the smell of fresh dough and a gas oven that's probably seen more history than most museums. * Pro Tip: It is CASH ONLY. Don't be that person who gets to the counter with a card; come prepared. The Pizza: The Best in the Bronx I've had a lot of pizza, but this is easily the best in the borough. * The Crust: Paper-thin, perfectly salty, and has that signature "Bronx fold" with just the right amount of char on the bottom. * The Sausage: This is their claim to fame. They use huge, fresh chunks of sausage that are packed with flavor. It's heavy, it's greasy in the best way possible, and it's legendary. * The Sauce/Cheese: The ratio is perfection. The sauce is tangy and bright, and the mozzarella is creamy and never "rubbery." The Service The staff here are exactly what you want in a legendary neighborhood spot--friendly, fast, and no-nonsense. They keep the line moving, but they treat you like a regular even if it's your first time. Verdict: 10/10. It's simple, it's classic, and it's the king of the Bronx. If you haven't been, you're doing NYC wrong.

I enjoy the Chicken Parm, Meatballs, Pizza, Mozzarella Sticks & deserts! I definitely have a thing for their Vodka sauce too How's the food? The meatballs are so good.. Tender.. They fall apart which I like. Not big on huge, dense meatballs anyway.. These things taste amazing! You gotta try them.. The Chicken Parm with spaghetti in Vodka Sauce is one of my favorites dishes The chicken is nice and tender, sauce has a great flavor, cheese is nice and melted, pasta perfectly cooked and it's a pretty big portion! The Mozzarella Sticks are like no other! I'm telling you! They make them fresh on-site.. Not store bought frozen sticks where the cheese pops out the casing.. These things are the real deal.. The cheese is stringy, well melted.. And they're pretty big.. They don't skimp.. Good for like 2-3 people.. I can only eat one myself.. The Pizzas are pretty good too! I really enjoy the entry dishes but if I'm with a group, I'll get a pizza to share. They're pretty small anyway. My favorite dessert is the Conollis! They have a nice airy, light casing.. The ricotta filling is so flavorful and fluffy.. So on point The service staff is always welcoming, accommodating and super cool. Really good crew. The place itself is so chill. Layback atmosphere, some really cool music plays in the background, classic Hip Hop, Funk/Soul breaks and more.. historical art decor fills the walls and vibes are always right in the spot. Might even have some games on the TVs.. great spot altogether.. You can see the Pizza cook in their fire oven.. Pretty cool I think. So if you're looking for a really cool spot to munch at in the Bronx Kingsbridge Neighborhood, you should definitely check out Kingsbridge Social Club. It's a vibe! Have a good one yall! -Ray
