This shop looks to be a mum and pop shop, which in my book earns them extra support. We have started ordering a group lunch from this place and I've so far tried their macaroni salad with a footlong grilled chicken sub with LTO, provolone, and Russian dressing. A pickle was suppose to come with the macaroni salad for an extra charge but my first order was missing the pickle, so for this pickle lover, this is a notable omission. The sub was no frills, with a soft and chewy sub roll and decent-sized slabs of grilled chicken topped with just the right amount of Russian dressing. My wish here is for a more-generous toppings, like tomatoes (the tomato rings didn't cover the length of the sub) and lettuce (chopped lettuce, instead of shredded lettuce, would make a big difference and I'd pay an extra dollar just for that, if needed). Dropped a tip in the jar and the straight-faced, pony-tailed girl behind the counter, (who gave no greeting, nary a smile, and def no 'thank you') said '20 minutes.' Ok. I'll be out front in my car. After about 15 mins, I saw through the window, same girl stacking my 3 slices in a box. After a few more minutes, i went back inside to wait for the subs to get finished. Another person put 2 subs in oven. Ok, just melting the cheese, I figured. After 5 more minutes, I asked stone faced girl if I can get my subs. ' they're not ready yet,' I ask 'Aren't the meatballs already hot?'' She snaps back with 'we make everything fresh here!' Which didn't answer my question at all. Another 5 minutes watching other orders going out. How about, tell your customer something nice like, it'll be ready shortly. But no. Just looks from B****y girl. 'Excuse me, I said, please wrap my subs up now. I'll heat them in my own oven.' The dude chef looks super irritated. 'Didn't she say 30 minutes?' No. Actually she said 20, and it's been longer than that. I'd rather wait at home than in here. Long day Then she tosses my pizza box toward me. Takes another few minutes then Puts the subs in bag and literally DROPS it on counter in front of me with a scowl on her face, staring me down! Placed an order for subs on Friday 10/24. Ordered via slice app. FYI they put mayo on their subs unless you say don't. Even when you don't select mayo/mustard in the app. I wanted the subs dry. When they arrived they had mayo. We don't eat mayo. When I complained via slice app restaurant said that's how they come. This place is very unprofessional, the staff is rude and all because I didn't realize my card was locked , and as I was on the phone, I was trying to tell them that my card was locked, to hold on a second, but they kept pushing the card through anyway ! While my fiancé called to see why the price of our order was jacked up ten dollars then what was advertised on website we were told by whom ever answered the phone to "GO FUCK YOURSELVES" instead of being treated with the proper accommodations. We have turned many people onto their food after they have had it at a party. Recently we also tried one of their dinners (chicken sorrento) and their salad (the combo). Both meals were delicious! I was cursed at from the employee or owner over the phone because I wouldn't accept a price difference from what is currently online on their website for a special. Joe's Has Great Food. My family has been a fan since 2008. How ever, I ordered Delivery one night back in march 2020 when the pandemic started. The Driver dropped the food off and left... However he dropped it off at the wrong address. So after an hour or so I called Joe's and I was mad my food wasnt here.. and the female on the phone told me " never call there again" .. Ok we drove all the way from Boston for this pizza ( and a few errands but this was our first stop) we got a plain cheese 8 slice pizza and it was perfect!
