Broadway Roulette is a service that does exactly what it says it will do: you pick the day, they will ensure you get to see a show on Broadway. The best part of this process was the ease of use. Once we booked our desired date, getting the tickets was incredibly easy: just show up at the theatre in time for the show and there the tickets were. As tourists and a group of 5, we wanted to make sure we all had at least one theatre experience, together. We also didn't want to pay full price for tickets with large processing fees tacked on ahead of time, plus with the Canadian/American exchange rate. With Broadway Roulette, the fact that the tickets were guaranteed and all the leg work was done for us made everything go really smoothly. A huge deal when you're in the big city for the first time and just trying to make sure you're on the right subway line or catching your Uber. If your heart is set on a super-popular show and would leave NYC feeling disappointed that you did not get to see that show in particular (eg: Hamilton) then Broadway Roulette may not be your best option. That said, compared to the TKTS booths that a lot of tourists use, Broadway Roulette has *all* shows in play when you spin the wheel with them. What the chances are of winning tickets to the most popular shows are, I don't know, but it does happen - you do have a chance. When we approached the TKTS booth in Times Square, we saw that only half the shows on Broadway were available for discount purchase. If you are open to having a theatre experience you may not have otherwise had, or love Broadway and are able to re-visit the city or live in the city, this is a fantastic option. Broadway Roulette will ensure that you never see the same show twice, and you will never waste a cross-off on your list (on a show you've already seen) when indicating on your form which shows you do not want in play when the wheel spins for you. All in all we saw the Band's Visit which we never would have chosen for ourselves but all enjoyed immensely. Hoping to get back to NYC soon and we would definitely use Broadway Roulette again. I've spun the wheel 5 times now with Broadway Roulette and I haven't been disappointed yet. Each time I loved the surprise of finding out what I was seeing and not having to get everyone to agree on a show or how much to spend. (Just FYI: We've never stood in the line at Times Square though it has been discussed... but we all have jobs / kids / dogs and that really isn't practical.) We've started a "Broadway club" where we go once a month and rotate credit cards since all tickets are the same price. We used to just get drinks, now we get drinks before seeing a show. There are 4 of us so we each eliminate one show :-) We saw Miss Saigon (none of us were that excited about it but we all LOVED it), The Band's Visit (none of us had heard of it but it won 10 Tony awards the next week -- though our feelings about that one were mixed), Anastasia (when we opted for the family spin and took some of our kids), Mean Girls (!!! people next to us paid over 3x what we paid and bought them 6 months ahead of time), and Avenue Q, which is off-Broadway. They recently added the option to include that show and eliminate one extra Broadway show in its place and we decided to go for it because none of us had seen it when it was on Broadway and it let us eliminate Phantom which some of us had seen. Our seats were orchestra row C dead center and the show was phenomenal! Not sure if this is a limited-time feature, but we had a blast. Can't wait for our 6th spin when we're bringing some of our moms! (Just finished explaining how it works to them so figured good time for a review!) We had an amazing time with Broadway Roulette for my birthday!!!! I loved the show we ended up getting -Head Over Heels. I'd never heard of it before but I ended up LOVING IT! We got spectacular seats in the second row. I never would have chosen this show for myself but I'm so glad I got to see it!!! It was fantastic!! Broadway Roulette was so exciting! You didn't know what you were going to get until the day of!!! Ahhhhh!!!! But it was a great birthday present! Would definitely do again!!! I have just two comments: 1. I used all my cross offs and extra ones to cross off all the plays because I really wanted to see a musical. I later found out that by choosing musical I definitely wouldn't get a play. I thought that since it was on the list they couldn't guarantee that. I feel like I wasted my cross offs. That should clearer in the beginning. 2. I wish I could see the wheel. When I tell everyone I know about how incredible this website is, their first comment it- how do you know it's not fixed? Part of the fun is knowing that there really is a possibility of getting Hamilton or Dear Evan Hansen. I assume that if it is a virtual wheel then there must be some form of fixed, however, knowing that there is still a chance to get big ticket shows makes it sooo much more better. I hope it's not too fixed. Even despite these two bullet points, we LOVED the show, the experience, and would do again in a heartbeat. Ok...I'm back to review Broadway Roulette AGAIN.... Broadway Roulette ROCKS!!!! I have been using Broadway Roulette since February 2017...I have seen some amazing shows (Aladdin, The Great Comet, Groundhog Day, A Bronx Tale, Paramour, Waitress) and gotten FABULOUS seats!!!! Last night I was in the house where it happens and it was THE. BEST. NIGHT. EVER. for me...I scored tickets through Broadway Roulette to Hamilton...yes, that's right, HAMILTON. All I can say is THANK YOU BROADWAY ROULETTE. If you haven't tried Broadway Roulette yet, it's a MUST!!!! You WILL NOT be disappointed, I promise! Try it, you'll LOVE it! After coming across Broadway Roulette on facebook I read a few reviews and thought I'd give it a try. I was surprised as to how easy it was to order my tickets, cross off 4 I had already seen or didn't want to. I did opt to cross off 2 more for an addition 10 per ticket. It really was pretty exciting waiting the few days wondering what we were going to see. Broadway Roulette sent a few emails and txt with just as much excitement leading up to the morning, the morning txt saying they were spinning the wheel was really exciting. As adults how many "surprises" do we ever really get! I received my email with all info before 9am. My spin brought us to seeing Chicago at 3pm, when we got there I walked right up to window gave my name and they handed me my tickets, the seats were in orchestra with a great view. The show was Awesome, not one I hoped for but a pleasant surprise, and we loved the show. Best part the total cost was less than the cost of a full price ticket to most shows!!! I'm a now a huge fan of Broadway Roulette and will definately be letting them spin for me again soon!!! My advice to those who think it's too good to be true, ask yourself, When did I last get excited/surprised not knowing whats happening for a happy reason. Treat yourself today! Go for a spin!!!!! I have done Broadway Roulette four times since September. The first time, I saw Chicago. The seats were the front row in the center of the rear mezzanine. The views were great! The next time I spun the wheel was in October when I won their free monthly spin and saw Waitress, also in the center of the mezzanine, with great views again! I did it again with a group of friends in November and saw A Bronx Tale in the front of the balcony. The views were not as good as previous shows but the seats were still great and unobstructed. The fourth and most recent time I did it was at one of the wonderful Bernadette Peters' first performances! She was great in the role. The seats were in the Mezzanine, and even though the very top of the stage was cut off by the overhang from the Shubert's Third level, but everything was visible and nothing was up there. After "spinning the wheel" so many times, there are only so many shows you can see. I did it on a Wednesday Night, and only got it down to 9 possibilities due to the fact that shows never get repeated, I was only seeing musicals, my four eliminations, and shows that were dark that night. The prices are amazing and the only time I have ever gotten a cheaper price was when I rushed The Great Comet and had obstructed view seats! tl;dr Broadway Roulette is amazing! read more

Great customer service from Broadway Roulette. I bought two tickets for February 9, 2017, knowing I'd be on a business trip to NYC this weekend. February 9 was the day winter storm Niko hit. I had three flights canceled and was stuck overnight in Detroit the day of the show. I'd been getting text updates throughout the day from Broadway Roulette about whether Broadway would be open at all that night (turns out, it was). I knew the policy was for nonrefundable tickets, but I decided to text back with my circumstances to see if anything could be done. Immediately the president of the company set up a Skype call with me and talked me through options for having the tickets honored. She said she was the only person in the office that day because of the storm. Overall it was a great experience with Broadway Roulette. I was traveling with a coworker, and we didn't have to compromise on which show to see or how much we'd be willing to pay. Broadway Roulette made the decisions for us. Not knowing the show we were going to was actually really fun. It amped up the excitement for Broadway. My coworker and I wished we had used the site for each night we were in the city. We were visiting NYC as a group of 4 people and knew that whilst here we wanted to see a broadway show, we all wanted to see a different show and trying to chose the right one to please everyone and not breaking the bank was tough! We stumbled across the Broadway Roulette website and it look like a great way to see a show cheap, we were each able to chose a show we didn't want to see and then the rest was up to fate. Prior to booking and throughout I had a few question and contacting Liz was simple and a response was received very quickly. We had all our tours and trips planned on arrival and knew pretty much what we would be doing every day apart from what we were going to see, which made it very exciting waiting for the email to come through! We won tickets for A Bronx Tale, we had never heard of the show but went along in the evening and got fantastic seats, the show was amazing. It wasn't a show any of us would have chosen to see, but we all loved every second. In fact as soon as we got home we all watched the original movie! Broadway Roulette is a fun & easy way to get affordable tickets to Broadway shows! I've Used this service 4 times with orchestra seats for each show!! I saw Bandstand, Groundhog Day, On Your Feet and to my ULTIMATE SURPRISE I received tickets to HAMILTON which was an absolutely INCREDIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!! The really do a great job selecting the show for you as the staff is approachable ,friendly, & attentive! Staff responds very quickly to any questions you may have when booking. My experience with this site has been a bit of a hit or miss. This was my second time purchasing tickets through the site, and while we did enjoy the show, there were some disappointments. I ordered 4 tickets at what I believed was a fair price, but when we arrived at the venue, we discovered that the tickets we received were valued lower than what we had paid. This left us feeling a bit disappointed with the overall experience. We had previously used this site once before, and that experience was great. We received our tickets promptly at 11 am, and they were exactly what we had ordered. However, this latest experience left us feeling a bit uncertain about using the site in the future. While we enjoyed the show itself, it was hard to shake the feeling that we had overpaid for the tickets. Overall, I appreciate the convenience of using this site to purchase tickets, but I think it's important to be cautious and double-check the values of the tickets before making a purchase. I hope that this issue can be resolved in the future, as I would like to continue using the site for future events. read more

Broadway Roulette is a MUST for Broadway lovers! It is simply the best way to get great seats to great shows. I have used it twice, and I can't wait to keep spinning the wheel. My first show was Miss Saigon (front row of the mezzanine) -- AMAZING. And last night was Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (orchestra row 6) -- FANTASTIC! So simple to use. For the incredibly low cost of $49/$59, you get a chance to see one of the many great shows on now.....all of them, even the impossible-to-get shows (Hamilton, Dear Evan Hanson). When the wheel spins, whatever you land on is going to be excellent. They even let you cross 4 shows off the list, in case you have already seen them or they are not your "cup of tea". I have used Broadway Roulette 3 times now and have become a loyal customer! Let me go through each the times I have used their service. 1. Played the family friendly option (total bill with fees was $76 per ticket) and ended up getting center orchestra tickets to King Kong (amazing show) that normally sold for $129. 2. Played standard roulette ($53 - used a coupon code) and got $139 orchestra tickets to Oklahoma (I was not a fan of the show but our seats were incredible). 3. Played family friendly again and went the day after Christmas ($87 each) and got Phantom of the Opera tickets that were located in the rear mezz and normally sold for $99. I was not super happy with our seat locations for this show (considering how much we paid) but still had a great time! Only use Broadway Roulette if you are okay getting tickets to a show that you are not familiar with. I will only spin family friendly from now on because you get a better show selection. Overall, it's very fun and I love getting the text message in the morning telling me what show I will be seeing! read more

It was so easy to sign up! EXCELLENT choices! There is not a bad show to pick from! And you can not beat the prices. Incredible. With a family of 6- it's difficult to go see a show often. This site was not only top notch with tremendous customer service - it provided my 11 year old son with a life changing experience. We entered the roulette and scored with the musical Waitress. A show that was not only beautiful but engaging with poignant moments. When Jenna sang - She Used To Be Mine, there wasn't a dry eye in the house... including that of my son's. After the show, we waited for the actors to come out for autographs. Betsy Wolfe (Jenna) came to Cooper and he screwed up his courage and said: "I've seen a lot of musicals but this is the first one that really moved me." I managed - despite my own tears - to snap her reaction... in which her jaw dropped. And then she said, "That is the most amazing thing anyone has ever said. Thank you so much. And might I add that your eyes are just as amazing." He will walk with this for some time. It was because of Broadway Roulette that we were allowed such a precious and significant moment. 4 times using Broadway Roulette and definitely I'll keep doing it! I love it! First off, you don't have to stand in line at the TKTS booth to get discounted tickets. Secondly, you'll get to see shows you probably wouldn't have seen (our last time using Broadway Roulette, we "spun" and got tickets to Spongebob Squarepants on Broadway - definitely NOT my first choice, BUT I LOVED IT! Our tickets from BR were $59.00 each and we got 3rd ROW CENTER ORCHESTRA tickets that were a list price of $155 each. SCORE!) Third - there's a bit of mystery which I love. You know you're going to NYC to see a show on a certain date, but you don't know until they e-mail/text you. The communications with them are great, e-mails, texts, phone calls - all super easy. Pick up of tickets is also quick and painless. Such a great thing. Like I've said, we've used them 4 times in about 10 months and we'll definitely keep doing it. My friends and I were visiting and hadn't yet decided what to see on Broadway, so we decided to give the Roulette a spin...we're so very glad we did! We saw Audra McDonald and Michael Shannon in "Frankie & Johnny in the Clare de Lune" which we would never have even known about, much less chosen--it was powerful and lovely and raw, and we all loved it tremendously. The service was so easy to use and we received regular updates and communication. When we arrived at the theater, our tickets were at will call, and we were actually moved to even better seats (main floor, orchestra, center!) upon arrival. When I received the notification of our show, I nearly missed the link to confirm that we were going (the email showed up a little weird on my phone) but a follow up text and email reminded me to click it and confirm--whew! I think all of us plan to use the service again on future trips to NYC, and will certainly also recommend to friends and family. read more

My husband and I used BR for the first time this past week, and it was everything we expected and more! I'm a HUGE reader of reviews before I commit/buy something, so I read a lot on here. We had only seen one other musical, so we just crossed off a few we didn't really care AS much about (we like everything haha). We were so dang excited leading up to the morning of wondering what we would receive. The morning of at 8:30 I got a text saying they were spinning the wheel and we would be notified soon. At 9am we got a text saying, Congrats, you won tickets to Chicago. We LOVE the Chicago songs, so we were so pleased. We went to the will call booth about 30 mins before the show and picked up the tickets with ease and got great orchestra seats! It was an amazing show to say the least!
