This guy who drives the tow truck is a scam artist. He drives around and looks to tow cars illegally with his girlfriend in the passenger seat. I was in burger king with my girlfriend and daughter and he extorted me for 250 dollars telling me I wasn't in burgerking when I was . calling me a pussy and telling me to fuck my mother. He disrespect me and my girlfriend calling her names and saying she's a liar. I repeat if you are in the Freeport area be carful of this Guy. what a LAUGHABLE business... I woke up at 1:30 am to a tow truck illegally towing my AWD vehicle away (by both front wheels only when it should have been a FLATBED if anything) from my building private parking lot that that I am legally allowed to park in because I HAVE A PARKING PERMIT RIGHT IN MY FRONT WINDSHIELD. When I called to ask why my vehicle was being towed away the dispatcher told me "the management company called them and told them to come tow it" - when I questioned her rude and unprofessional self to that made up story - she all of sudden changed it and said "it's private property that we patrol"... so wait... let me get this straight... this company patrols private property and took my vehicle that has the CLEARLY IDENTIFIABLE LEGAL RIGHT TO PARK ON THE SAME PRIVATE PROPERTY? not only that... She then REFUSED TO GIVE ME THE ADDRESS to where my vehicle was being towed to? So this company: 1. Illegally towed my legally authorized AWD vehicle from my buildings parking lot which is private property 2. Made up some story as to why 3. Did not use a FLATBED TRUCK but used a WHEEL LIFT TOW TRUCK instead - causing damage to the DRIVETRAIN 4. Then REFUSED TO PROVIDE ME WITH THE ADDRESS to the tow lot Sounds about right. Unethical and Aggressive Towing Practices At the parking lot near Burger King in Freeport, NY, I witnessed a driver from Broadway Towing trying to tow a car almost immediately after it was parked. They didn't wait to see if the person was going inside the restaurant or nearby. When I told the driver that what he was doing seemed illegal, he looked at me and asked, "Are you a police officer?" -- instead of explaining or stopping. His attitude was rude and defensive. It looked like they were waiting for people to step away from their cars just to tow them fast and collect a fee. That's completely unfair and feels like a scam against the community. Be careful if you park in that area -- Broadway Towing acts very aggressively and doesn't give people a chance to handle the situation before towing. Stop taking people's cars without a proper reason. As a disabled person who was not blocking anyone's car and was moving into a building in the evening on a holiday after receiving the go ahead from the building manager. There was reason to touch my car in that circumstance and the word "scam" comes to mind. Wait around for a minute to ascertain the situation might be a good start. read more

Beware !!! Big macho tow truck driver made a petite woman put a motorcycle on the flatbed today. Progressive insurance sent Broadway towing when my motorcycle broke down and I left the key with my daughter to have it taken to the shop. These "guys" are unprofessional and apparently Ill equipped to get the job done. Their boss was no help in explaining why they sent one "man" to do what they claim was a 2 man job and even the one "man" they sent was only able to stand with his arms folded. I called my insurance company for a tow through roadside insurance. Besides the inflated price for the yow, which was fine due to their quicker response times for doing to the tow; I called the tow company asking if I could ride with the driver. I told him I was fully vaccinated and would wear my mask to make him feel more comfortable. He then screamed "WE ARE ALL TRUMP SUPPORTERS! WE DONT WEAR MASKS. IF YOU WEAR MASK, YOU NO COME IN MY TRUCK." I was shocked at the screaming towards me not because he is a trump supporter, it's a free world. Support whomever you want but DONT yell at me in a threatening way about masks. Then, the tow truck driver called me yelling (maybe it was the same person) annoyed that the address was in wantagh which he clearly was given by my insurance company not by me (he thought westbury) so he cursed at me and told me to text him the address again so I kindly asked what number should I text it to. He called me an idiot and told me to text it to the number he just called from. I told him "you don't have to be rude sir." Then hung up the phone. I waited for half an hour for my vehicle to be handed back to me. Extremely unprofessional service when it came to handling my issue about towing my car in the first place. My vehicle was behind the sign, which was a safe place to park and they still did not double check the sign to handle my concern and proceeded to tow my car. Rude service showed up almost a hour of promised time. went to diner instead of strip mall and told me to call someone else and drove off. Very rude and unprofessional. Roadside service sent Broadway Towing when my car battery died. It took a while but the technician was great. The tow truck didn't fit into the parking garage so he did some troubleshooting and got me a temporary fix so I could be on my way to the mechanic. read more

I am absolutely horrified at what took place today at Sport Time in Lynbrook. First let me say yes we were wrong for parking there but they way the driver treated myself and my staff is inexcusable! First off he called me a Fat,fucking,lazy bitch and someone else a stupid African. I was told to call after 7 and speak with a Louis and I hope to God he is there when I call . This morning at the Plainview shopping center in SYOSSET a Broadway towing truck pulled in front of my mother's car in order to put another car on his flatbed. When my mother told him she had to move out and asked him if he was going to move so she could get out he responded with too bad lady you just have to wait. This was at 8 am this morning and my mom has a job to get to. The man did not apologize and say can you wait a few moments ma'am he was incredibly rude. He Began cursing at her and yelling at her and telling her too bad. When she indicated she had a job to get to he told her it's too bad she can't fucking wait amongst many other things. When she said she was going to call his employer and report this to his employer he said his employer doesn't care that his employer would say the same thing. When she began to move her car around because the space next to her became an empty he stood in front of her car so she couldn't pull out. She had to threaten to call the police before he moved.This is an awful place I intend to call AAA to make sure they never have a contract with the State of NY or with AAA because that is not the kind of people you want near you. read more
