Well, once I met Laura and Paul, I knew the drive had been well worth it. Such warm and friendly people who build an immediate sense of trust that your'e going to get great quality work at a very fair price that's completed when promised. Paul and his team did a great job rebuilding my car that was needlessly totaled by the insurance company and restoring it to full use better than it was before the accident. I just picked up my car after it had a "groupon detailing" frankly the car was so disgusting (excessive dog hair, food stains and debris) when I dropped it off, I thought for sure I would get a call that they wouldn't do it or at the very least an additional charge. The only call I received was to tell me my car was ready for pickup, and at the time it was promised. True magicians!! The car looked as if it just came out of the showcase. There was not an area in the car that was not immaculate. If you go anywhere else to have your car detailed, you probably are wasting your money. read more

I went to Brookeside Auto after my 2012 Mazda was hit by another driver at fault. This was my first accident and I was uninformed. I had spoken to the other guy's insurance and was being strongly encouraged to use certain mechanics. I gave Brookeside a call and they explained everything to me, made me feel more involved in the process, and took care of most of the repair steps saving me a lot of time and aggravation. Everybody at Brookside went over and beyond to help me. Let me start with being a women it is hard to find somewhere to go where you feel comfortable and you don't have to worry about being taken advantage of. From the second I walked in I had no idea what to do, Paul helped me with everything and explained it all step by step from filing my claim, my rent a car and took me to get my rent a car(he also explained to me what to look for so they don't add anything on my bill). After some time I called and spoke to Joanie and explained the insurance company wants me to return the rental, She reached out to the insurance company and handled it, she called me back within 5 minutes and told me don't worry about it she took care of it. Later that day she went out of her way to bring me my car since I was stuck at work and took back my rental for me. My car looks ABOSULETY AMAZING...... Recently in a car accident, car was towed to Brookside Auto Center, owner offered to cover my deductible, loaner car etc...., offered $500 in my pocket and luxury loaner, BMW, Land Rover. and work on the car immediately, had contract ready to sign,,,,,,.I am not about that just want a car to get from A to B..... ......then realized I have close friends in the same business, I rather give the business to them............ I decided to move forward and give the business to people I know...Now the story changes.....Brookside charges $ 500 for towing!!! Needed to get my car detailed, called the day before, dropped of car next morning. The place is right near the Merrick LIRR station so was able to take train to city. I had to return my 650 Bmw from off lease and needed a few scratches fixed, they not only fixed the scratches and matched the paint perfectly but they also detailed the inside and made the car look just like When I first got it 3 years ago.
