From the receptionists to the techs to the surgeons, everyone I have met there has been top notch. My cat even enjoys the visits, which never ever happened elsewhere. I brought my 13 1/2 year old cat in to see what was wrong as her she showed signs of being an elderly cat. It was confirmed that one of her issues was hyperthyroidism. She was put on methimazole. Before she started the medication, Dr. Story called me when he received her tests (I bought a the geriatric panel they do for older cats which costed me close to $500). During that phone call, Dr. Story talked a lot about her using a lot of medical words I didn't understand. He referred to my sweet pet as a "complicated case". I tried my best to chime in and ask what things meant as he went along. After talking with me, he didn't give me a chance to ask him any questions and rushed off of the phone telling me he had "another appointment." I tried several times to get a hold of him by calling the office but he never called me back even after the front desk people told me they'd give him the message. He never even called to check in on how my 13 1/2 year senior cat who'd never been on medication was doing in her frail condition. Over the course of 2 weeks, my kitty deteriorated so much so that I had to have her euthanized at dove Lewis. I reported this to the clinic and gave them back two thyroid meds I'd spent just under $300 on and they told me they'd give them to people who otherwise couldn't afford the meds. My kitty had such a sad ending and the clinic should have done better at communicating; with me, the vet should have called me back and called to check in on my senior pet. In a different incident few months earlier, my senior cat's litter mate passed away at home. I brought her body right away to the clinic to have her privately cremated. I clearly checked the box for a paw cast. When they called me a week or so later to pick up her remains, Dustin apologized that the paw cast hadn't been ordered and he felt very badly about it. After years of bringing my pets here for check ups and vaccines, I've decided it's time to change clinics because of these two recent experiences with them which have really impacted me and left me filled with sadness. On a positive note, I'm fond of Dr. Carroll however he's only there twice a week and sometimes even less than that. I've worked with a couple of other vets here aside from Dr Carroll (Who I like) and Dr Story and was unimpressed. read more

Screw them. My dog almost instantly got a UTI after being fixed by them, and they refused to accept blame. They prescribed a massive dose of TRAZODONE for an anxious dog. Took her and her meds to another vet and they said it was a severe dose. The new vet could barely read the notes because they were all HANDWRITTEN. In 2022/3. Then, about a year after, I was desperate to find a vet that wasn't booking a month out for a sudden onset illness and they outright refused to see the dog. They don't give a damn about the health and welfare of animals, just your money. read more

I think they have a pain med problem. Pup had surgery. Was in extreme pain after. Took him back in and they gaslit me telling me he was just fine as he is panting and squealing. They sent me home with more pain meds that still are not working. Please do not take your pets here if they need pain medication. Obvious issues. read more

Broadway Vet didn't hesitate to squeeze me in when my 12 year old cat was showing signs of a urinary track infection. After losing 2 very young cats to terminal illnesses, I was super stressed, scared and nervous bringing her in. Literally on the verge of tears. Dustin, the veterinary assistant, was so kind and caring as he asked me the details and did a pre-check on my cat. Dr. Carroll then came in the room to examine her. He felt confident that it was a urinary track infection, completely treatable, but due to her age and existing heart murmur, recommended bloodwork to check on her kidneys and thyroid, in addition to the urine sample. Dustin provided costs for everything so I could make an informed decision. Because of her age, I wanted to get the baseline done so that if there were other issues, we could get ahead of them. Dr. Carroll gave my cat a shot of antibiotics which acts faster and eliminated the need for me to give her oral meds twice a day for 10 days. The antibiotic worked within 24 hours! My cat finally slept through the night after having a day of nonstop visits to her litter box. She is back to her loving and mellow self, snuggling with me and our other cat. The day after the visit, Dr. Carroll called to let me know all of the bloodwork came back and my cat has no other issues. For her age, she is in very good health. Good news! What a relief. Even though I switched vets when I moved to the west side, Broadway Vet found the time to see me the same day I called, knowing my cat was in need of care. Everyone was compassionate and delivered the optimal care and treatment for my cat. The cost of the appointment and the bloodwork was very reasonable, so I am updating my review to 5*s, after previously giving 4*s only because initially I thought their prices were a bit high. read more

First off, we have been clients here for over 20 years. The vets are great. The office staff is rude and disrespectful. Also very cold and showing giant lack of compassion or good people skills. Twice in the two years, we have encountered infkexible rude manners. We had an appointment for a 10-year-old dog to get some boosters which was gonna be a five minute appointment and the last two times we've been in Vet tech has done the shots and we never saw a veterinarian or needed one. We got stuck today with a dead phone with a car problem and we weren't able to arrive until about 40 minutes late. We were turned away and there was no space to fit a dog in today for this booster appointment and furthermore, since we were late for our appointment, we were going to get a $40 charge for not showing up. We have never been late for another appointment in over 20 years or missed an appointment. The staff could look us up and see that this was true if they wanted to but instead they told us they had a policy that was inflexible and that we were going to be charged the $40 and set up a new appointment. When we got home, I wrote a complaint and inquiry about this situation and quickly got a call back from a very cold person who works there who is the same person I had an encounter with last year, and I pointed out to her that I have waited in the waiting room for up to 45 minutes for an appointment and I've never complained. I didn't charge them $40 for making me sit there for nearly an hour. This vets are great but their front office staff needs training and working with people who are not perfect or who have things happened to them but still try to get in there and get stuff done and they need to take a lesson on being friendly and kind and not rude and cold. I have my own clinic and if my front office staff spoke like that to my patients I would fire them on the same day.. We will be finding a different veterinarian as we were invited to today on the phone by the same office worker. Talk about cutting off your nose to spite your face for a $40 charge they lost another five years of a regular veterinary relationship and anything in the future so this is a very poor choice on their part. I'm more than happy to share details in further regard as to name and position of this person. I've been going to BVC for many years and have only had excellent experiences w the doctors and staff. Dr. P took my calls and counseled me through end of life care for my sweet old dog; Dr. Schaad performed an excellent surgery on my cat and they were wonderful when she passed away three years later. It felt like the entire staff came to the rescue when my younger dog was hit by a car many yrs ago and they continue to love on her to this day. Vet medicine was hit hard by the pandemic, there definitely weren't enough resources for everyone and there has been staff turnover (same as everywhere else!), but my experience w BVC techs, doctors, and admin staff continue to be positive. I feel fortunate to have such a good relationship w the BVC team. read more

Recently, we adopted a small dog and needed to select a veterinarian for neutering, vaccinations and health care. We contacted the closest vet which happened to be Broadway Veterinary Clinic. We chose them from Google Reviews. The wait for an initial appointment was several weeks and required a non-refundable deposit for the scheduling. We provided a $90 deposit and within several days decided on a different vet. We contacted the office and canceled the appointment approximately two weeks prior to the scheduled appointment date. When we called to cancel, we were told that they would not refund our money. When we reminded them that we gave them two weeks notice they justified it by stating that all the clinics have the same policy for first visits. We can use the funds to purchase pet items at their facility but they will not consider a refund. We certainly understand the deposit for clinics. It is not fair for the clinic to block off time for an appointment only to have the patient either not show up or cancel at the last minute. This would result in a loss of income for the clinic. At the same time, canceling the appointment several weeks prior should not result in much risk of loss to the facility. In fact, I just checked and couldn't get in for at least a week. It is safe to assume the appointment scheduled for tomorrow was filled. Here is what we learned about Broadway Veterinary Clinic The policy is greed motivated rather than insurance against cancellations. Once they get your funds they are not giving them back. The statement that all the clinics have the same non-refundable policy is not true. The vet we prefer has a 48 hour clause not an unconditional non-refund policy. We feel that that is a much more reasonable policy. Be sure to check costs for services at a variety of clinics. We found this clinic to be the most expensive. Others with similar or superior satisfaction ratings were significantly cheaper. We do not trust that this business will act in our interest in the future. You may find yourself canceling for family issues, illness, work related problems etc. Apparently, Broadway Veterinary Clinic will act in their own interests with disregard for yours. Looking forward, we will be avoiding them and will advise our friends, family and other pet owners to do the same. read more

I'm really disappointed in this Clinic. It seems like they've hired a lot of green technicians to help support the business model but in doing so there seems to be a lack of consistency in how they manage the business. Misinformation, poor customer relations, forgetting medication for my dog after a surgery, and now the phone lines seem to be down. From what I can tell the Vets themselves seem fine but there is definitely a lack of cohesion that translates into poor service/ business management. I've had great luck here with my kitt, Flapjack. the staff has always been very helpful and sweet. They really seem to care about cats, & have some very knowledgeable Drs. Flapjack is out of his meds, and we're waiting for some more to come in. They were so sweet l& didn't want him to go without his meds that they offered to give him some of the hard tame tablets while we wait for the soft ones to arrive. Not only that, but they even cut them into quarters for me to make it easier. All free of charge! I know my baby is in good hands. We've been going here for probably close to 8 years? Wait times to check out or pick up prescription food suck and when we moved out of state and asked our dog's records be sent to our new vet, they sent our cat's records instead. Broadway Vet just overcharged us for the last time. They said our cats nails would be trimmed for free with our visit, then charged us. We where told it would be an hour appointment, so we grabbed a coffee across the street and came right back. They then charged us additional $50 for boarding our pets when we were outside in car. They refuse to send appointment reminders. Our cat lost weight at 2 visits and they did not mention this to us. Broadway Vet wants your money and does not care about your family pets. Never going back and asking all our friends to find a new Vet. read more

Since moving to Portland, we have taken our cats to Broadway Veterinary Clinic and we are very happy with their customer service. The staff are friendly, even when my cats act like little hooligans - hissing and scowling up a storm. We buy our cat food from Broadway Vet. and they always remember us - or at least they remember Mr. Sid and Artoo (our cats). We feel cared for and we trust the staff at this clinic. They are a busy clinic so we try to always make an appointment and come in a bit early. From our experience, wait times are not too long - maybe 10 minutes at the most after being roomed. In regard to pricing: prior to living in Portland, our vet had similar prices. Pet healthcare can be costly, which is why we try to do what we can to keep our cats healthy and happy. We schedule yearly check ups and we set money aside to help cover these costs. read more

Your pet deserves better. Broadway Veterinary Clinic falls short in every respect.  Our puppy was never be seen by the same doctor twice. Instead, they passed her around so nobody was responsible for her care. If you ask "why did XYZ happen?" you'll be told you'll have to speak to that doctor, who of course you can't ask, because you'll never see him/her again. This place appears to be a vet carousel. I've seen three vets here, and none of them appear on their websites "meet our doctors" section. In reviewing other online reviews, the clinic has responded to some complaints by apologizing, and stating certain vets are no longer with the clinic. Round and round the vet carousel goes.  The vet techs are another problem. One ponytailed gentleman tech jerked our puppy's collar extremely hard to take her into the clinic, and then told us that our puppy was "squirmy". Gee, I wonder why my pet might not like you?  The lack of communication is yet another issue. They are remarkably unprofessional and virtually impossible to speak to. If they tell you they'll call you with an update on your pet, and if they actually follow through on making that call (which they don't always do) you should expect that call to happen after the clinic has closed and for the voicemail to tell you not to bother calling back tonight because they're closed. If they tell you your pet will be ready by 12pm, expect that you'll have to call around 1pm to get an update. If you call to speak to a vet, and you're told the vet will call you back "soon" don't sit by your phone waiting because "soon" here means four or five hours. And if you'd like to talk to a vet, expect them to tell you the vet isn't available.  The way this place operates from start to finish suggests that it is more interested in its completely off the rails business model to maximize its profits, rather than providing compassionate and good care to your pet. We've found a new Vet and only wish we'd gone to them from our puppy's first visit. We would have saved an enormous amount of time, money, and grief. In sum, do your pet and yourself a favor: find another vet!  Broadway Veterinary Clinic is a complete disaster. read more

They now have diagnosed my dog with major dental work needed and their manager, Dustin just told me they can't take care of my dog until Feb/Mar or netxt year. UNACCEPTABLE. He said they only have one dental surgeon on staff. If you care about your dogs, find another place to take them. Also, Dustin, kept talking over me and I resent that....very POOR customer service. I was hoping this vet would be good for basic, routine care for my cats, but I was disappointed. The vet tech was very nice and sweet, which was the one redeeming quality of the visit. The atmosphere is chaotic and the waiting room and exam rooms are messy. The vet walked in and left the door open though a cat was loose in the room and there were dogs outside. The vet I saw (I can't remember his name, but he had a thick accent) didn't seem very used to cats. I could have overlooked all of this, but then the vet and I disagreed about a vaccine and he literally shouted at me about it. I was stunned - I have never been yelled at in a professional office before. I thought his reaction was really disproportionate to the disagreement. Then, while I was settling my bill in the lobby, a woman let her dog run up to my cat's carrier and bark at him while he hissed and spit at the dog. She didn't pull the dog away but laughed and said, "Oh, he loves to chase cats!". The staff did nothing, just laughed and watched, and when I yelled at the woman to get her dog away they looked at me like I was crazy. I have heard good things about this vet from people with dogs, but I will never take my cats there again, even though it's right in my neighborhood. I'll drive all the way to Sellwood to go to my old vet from now on. read more

I officially will never switch vets!! My 2 year old cat has a history of crystals in his urethra which as you may know can be deadly if he becomes blocked and can't use the bathroom. This week he was starting to show possible signs of a blockage or of having active crystals and I called a few clinics to ask if they could do a payment plan since I was waiting until Friday to get paid. Every one said they couldn't help me, to open a care credit card, or to wait until Friday but know that my cat could die. I called broadway vet clinic and told them my situation and they told me to bring him in immediately and we would worry about payment later. I was able to be seen an hour after calling, they did everything they could for my cat, who luckily was not blocked, and even sent me home with special food for his urinary problems and told me to pay when I was able to. This shows their devotion and love for animals and I will never take my cats to another vet clinic. I absolutely recommend this place and the doctors and everyone who works here is so nice and shows their love of animals. read more

That said, my experiences with this clinic thus far have been stellar. The staff is friendly, the doctors knowledgeable, and the handling the right mix of pragmatism and care. The other reviews with complaints of the front desk being understaffed and wait times long? I could see it happening, but the several times I've been thus far, it's never been anything egregious. Beware if you have a nervous or wiggly pet, they will handle them roughly to the point of injury. Twice my dog has gone in for routine appointments in good health, and twice he has come out hobbling, writhing in pain and barely able to walk, one time requiring follow-up hospitalization at Dove Lewis. It appeared that someone dropped him and hurt his back. And then a massive bruise all over his chest. He winced at the slightest touch. No one cared until I said I would write a bad review, then a vet called me with a weak apology saying she saw nothing happen but wasn't in the room the whole time. They will also not cancel your health plan, they more difficult to quit than any gym or time share. I have requested cancellation 15 times via email, in person, on the phone, online and no one will respond and they continue to bill me. I will have to close my account just to make the charges stop hitting my credit card. read more

The location is fantastic, the staff is friendly, and the service is prompt. And while it certainly can seem a little expensive at times - they seem to do what they can to help. They have waived a couple of fees, and cut other ones in half. And even once when I had to bring in a small pet due to being attacked, they opened after hours and put it down at no charge. So money stuff? They are great. The vet techs all seem very thorough and knowledgeable. Very friendly and welcoming. Half the time I feel like after my dog is looked at by the techs I know what is wrong with my dog, before I even see the vet. Through the years since it has opened I have see several vets. All have been respectful and professional. As to the people complaining that the vets offer to many tests? They seem confused. Vets are Dr's that figure out what is wrong with our loved furry family members through examination. So palpating, and tests are par for the course. First veterinary clinic where I felt I wasn't going to a car mechanic and going to be given a huge list of charges. Felt so wonderful to be treated well. This clinic is friendly and the service is good and the prices are reasonable. They even have a cute older office cat that lounges around in front. My dog had major surgery here. She is older and had a large hernia along with anemia. I believe the doctor I had was Dr. Schaad. He was kind and friendly and explained why he wanted certain tests. They only did what was necessary and didn't do a whole lot of extra x-rays and tests. (Seriously, a hernia where the doctor admits they won't know whether they can tug it in or not or what will happen until they get in there and then says they need an x-ray for it? This didn't happen here, but at other places I had taken my dog to for quotes and exams). Dr. Schaad showed great concern and compassion over my dog. After the surgery he called multiple days to check on her. I brought her back multiple times to get her weight and blood checked until it was clear she was going to be okay. If I still lived in Portland, this would be my main vet I would go to. read more

This is the last straw. I returned from an overseas trip, and have found that Broadway Vetinarian Clinic has endangered the life of my cat and refuses to see her, intervene or rectify the situation in any way. The plan was for the cat to go to Dove Lewis, but my daughter took her to BVC for expressing: number 1 and number 2. BVC first said that cat needed to be brought in every day, then when the cat was brought in, they said that her bladder was so big that she didn't need to come in every day. They mentioned that her feces were very hard and that she may need a stool softener. In 8 days she was brought in only twice. Meanwhile, her colon became dangerously impacted. The RUDE receptionist, Michelle, told me that they only express number 1. That is ridiculous. $30 for a bladder expression only?? I do number 1 and number 2 expressions at least once a day. The cat has had this condition since 2013. BVC says they have no openings until next week and to take her elsewhere. THIS IS AN EMERGENCY. My cat is completely impacted with hard feces. I can even begin to express her. She is bleeding and this whole thing is a mess. Broadway Veterinary Clinic, FIRST DO NO HARM. My cat is dying thanks to you. I lived in Portland for 3 years, 2 of which I took my cats to this clinic. I took one in particular, Penguin, in a few times, sent emails with video as well, trying to show the Vets the issue my cat was having. They chalked it up to... hairball struggle. Total BS!! And now, guess what? Turns out I was right. It wasn't anything to do with hairballs. It was FKN heart disease. Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy. We could have caught it 2 years earlier. But these Fkn vets couldn't even do their due diligence to at least take proper blood work or x-rays or an ultrasound. They just went off their own eye sight and clearly- lack of knowledge. My poor baby was diagnosed a few months ago by a veterinarian here in Florida, which we moved to. After I found him collapsed and full of pee, his tongue hanging outside of his mouth, and pupils shot out, he couldn't stand, turns out he has had a heart disease. I've been begging vets for YEARS. In Temecula california, in Beaverton, Or, and in Portland, Or, and NONE of them did their fkn job as veterinarians to bother even doing any kind of labs or imaging. When you, as the parent of your pet, feels in your gut that something is seriously wrong, believe it. These people have no idea what they're doing. I could have caught my cats heart disease 2 years earlier, he could have started medication 2 years earlier. He's been suffering all this time, because these fkn people wouldn't believe me when I would send them videos of his messed up breathing attacks that he gets. I could have prevented his suffering for 2 YEARS. Who knows the damage they've caused by not being good doctors. read more

This morning, we brought our rescue dog from Belize to Broadway Veterinary Clinic to work on a toothache he had been diagnosed with. Later in the day, we receive a call saying he has died due to being given too much anesthetic. He was fine this morning. We've been left with no further explanation in addition to our bill for hundreds of dollars to have Broadway Veterinary Clinic MURDER OUR DOG. Getting the thyroid medication correct is more of an art than a science. Broadway Vets brought my dog from death's door to optimal health and I could not be more grateful. My dog's life was saved by the intelligent care she received at this practice and I highly recommend them. read more

When we first started going there we loved them. We soon lost our love for them when the owner and lead vet told me to use my common sense when telling me that our dogs collar was too tight l. I had asked about the two finger rule because it had seemed loose enough to me. He further became disrespectful and a poor vet when he had the vet tech take our puppy in back and give her stitches without consulting us prior. I was not told what was going to happen and then I was charged an additional $85.00 dollars after she already had been there the day before and was charged a $100.00 or so. When I called to discuss it and ask them questions about it they told me they would delete the charge and we could go else where for our vet care. Mind you this was 10 days after our 12 year old German Shepherd passed. They lack professionalism, compassion and respect. The vet that owns the practice seems burnt out and tired of being a vet. We paid our bill and took our business else where. Never in my 15 years of being a dog owner have I had that type of experience at a vet especially after loosing a beloved member of the family. Although there are other good vets there we will Never use them due to the owners poor social skills and bedside manner. read more

I'm giving this a 1 star based on several experiences I have had here over a two year period of time with a cat and a dog. First, this place is incredibly expensive. I realize that Portland is expensive for vet care, but man... I took my cat there because she was very ill and couldn't keep food down and shrieking in pain. I took her there two separate times (combined totals about $300 for a cat) and they couldn't figure out anything. The first visit they have her fluids and charged us for it (the bill was itemized). The second time I took her for fluids, the charge was more than twice as much. When I asked why they couldn't give me an explanation and that usually it is less for giving additional fluids. Needless to say, no money was returned. I then asked my friend who is in vet school and she said it was a textbook case. Thanks Broadway... I recently adopted a dog. I am new to owning a dog, so you would think they would explain certain basic things, such as heartworm and flea/tick preventative treatments. The first time we took her as a follow up to adoption, they never said anything about these meds nor did they offer a prescription for the Heartgard med. the second time I went in last week, they asked if she was taking these medications and I gave a confused look.. No... They then told me I had to get a heartworm test then since she hadn't been taking it ($50 or something). Since I was about to move out of state, they told me it was totally fine to test her in my new home ($20 at the local vet) so that's what I did. And they told me to pick up some meds (no prescription given, didn't know it was needed). Today I found out that Heartgard requires a prescription, so I called to get one mailed to me. The receptionist told me it was ILLEGAL (um... No it's not) so I offered to send my boyfriend there (still in Portland) to pick one up. She said that would be much better, but she would give me a call back to find out about the prescription. No call back, so my boyfriend went there to get a prescription. They then refused to give him a prescription since I "elected" to turn down the testing. Last time I checked, your staff told me it was fine to do it at my new location, and this would mean I would have to pay for yet another vet visit in the 4 months we have had this 1.5 year old healthy dog. Never mind all the money we spent there. Oh and the health certificate for her flying on a plane was $70. Even though they just saw her 3 months prior. And all they did was weigh her and look at her teeth and ears. Not worth $70. So now I have a visit scheduled with a new vet that will hopefully care about the well being of their patients vs the money they take in. I felt like I was trying to get OxyContin, not Heartgard!! Not to mention, they have a sign in their lobby saying they will charge you for asking for a prescription rather than getting it filled there. Is that even legal?? Health care of animals (and people) should be about quality, cost, and access. They let down animal parents on all three. read more

Horrible place!! My poor dog Smokey had to spend his final days on earth in mass amounts of pain before he died today___I called 4 different times to see if his medication was ready and they refused to fill his prescription. Kept telling me they were "working on it" ...he never got his meds before he passed today :( read more

I took my dog in for a rabies vaccination and that cost me over $200.00 at the end. They quickly gave extra shots to the dog that weren't asked for or needed. Then, I went back to have the dog's teeth cleaned. They were going to charge me $480 at minimum; for a cleaning. Anything extra could have gone up to $900.00 plus. Are they high? I had 3 human teeth pulled (with a cleaning) last year for $700.00. So, what's up with that? And their location is terrible. Getting your pet in and out of the car on busy Broadway is scary and confusing. read more

I've taken my cat to the Broadway Vet Clinic a few times, but I'm looking for a new vet. On the plus side: their location is very convenient for me, and they are always on time with appointments. I never have to wait very long to be ushered into an exam room, nor is there a long wait for the vet to come in with me. I really appreciate that. Their front desk staff is very kind and helpful. However, I left my last appointment feeling bewildered. When I brought my cat in for a minor (and common - I assume) issue, the vet (a woman - I do not recall her name) rattled off an impressive list of tests they could run, as if she were brainstorming every possible solution she could think of. But you know, I'm not a doctor, nor am I wealthy, and I expect the professionals with whom I work to be able to give me recommendations and steer me in the right direction. Especially since this wasn't a life-or-death problem. I ended up spending almost $200 on that visit, and it turned out that all my cat needed was specialty food. I was also less than impressed with their bedside manner. My cat is very docile, but once they realized this, they handled her rather roughly. And not in a "I must restrain this cat to prevent her from scratching me" way but in a "I don't have to be gentle to avoid injury so I won't bother with gentleness" kind of way. For instance, they were showing me inflammation in her gums and they said "see this red area? It's a painful spot" and as if to demonstrate, they poked her there and she flinched. Poor thing! At one point, the tech (a man) wrapped her up in a blanket and took her out of the room without telling me why. Turns out they were going to do a blood draw from her jugular, which also involved shaving her neck. I would have been fine with this, and I did agree to do blood tests (which had I thought would be from her leg but that's OK), but I think that shaving the cat and taking her away from her owner is something that you should mention, or explain! And it's just part of the overall feeling of brusqueness that I got from this place. I should not have to go to the vet prepared to do battle and demand that my cat be treated gently and not be caused unnecessary pain. I should be able to trust that my vet will recommend procedures that are actually helpful and minimally expensive and invasive. I should not have to demand to be told what they are doing with my cat when they take her out of my sight. The first time I visited was a more routine appointment as I had just adopted the cat. So it was shots and a general exam. The tech (a man) that time was a different fellow and he was very kind. I also feel that the vet that time (also a man) was also much nicer with the cat, although I do remember feeling the same lack of confidence in his guidance when he was discussing treatments for one problem she did have. read more

If you have an older dog, ask for Dr. Sal Jepperson. She is especially knowledgeable in this area and took great pains to explain how to properly dose my dog so as not to stress her liver. No vet had ever given my dog's health such thorough consideration. Nice person to boot. read more

Been going to this vet forever. We have run into a few that I have questioned but overall the staff is great. Dr. Lambert well I must say she is amazing, the best vet that I have come across and she is so kind to not only my three dogs but also to me and the Family. I don't think we could have gotten through some of the rought times without her. Her demeanor, stance, and way of talking and explaining things is phenomenal. There front dest staff is also very nice and helpful and I have been in there so many times they know who I am and what three dogs I am linked too without even asking, which for me is a HUGE thing.
