    Iced Coffee

If you're looking at just grabbing a quick bite and walk around Southie this place is a go too. You can get an excellent sandwich with a nice iced coffee, both are served very quick and full of flavor.

    Chocolate croissant

Quick service and lots of good pastries. I got a matcha latte and a chocolate croissant which were both great. Very cute setting with cozy atmosphere.

Coffee 5/5... I was so excited to finally find a place with an almond croissant that isn't topped with powdered sugar but unfortunately, it was disappointing. It taste like it's more than a day old, mostly bread instead of filling in the center. Overall, vibes and coffee here are great, pastry was a let down.

I came here on a Saturday morning and it was quite busy. We ordered a large iced caramel coffee and a chocolate croissant. The coffee was strong and it had a hint of caramel that lingers after you take a sip. I was a little disappointed in the croissant. It wasn't crispy, but more soft. They offered the option of warming it up which was nice. Many families were catching up over coffee and others were doing work. Some seating inside would be the perfect place to work or catch up with a friend.

    perfect caramel macchiato

I stumbled at this coffee shop on my way to an appointment on the same street, and it was a huge surprise! I ordered the caramel macchiato with almond milk, and a large size including the additional charge for the almond milk was already much cheaper than getting it anywhere else. AND it was good. I've been getting not so good coffee drinks either because they put way too much milk, or there is no flavor at all, but the caramel macchiato was perfect (check the picture to see, literal perfection). They have decent seats with outlets by them, so you can easily work from home from here with their free wifi and cozy seats. Not sure if it's every day, but they were playing perfect music for doing casual work. I will definitely be back to get that drink and to wfh :)

A long coffee shop in the south end. The area and the coffee shop had a calm serene vibe, especially considering its proximity to the city. The coffee shop is deep and has seating on one end of the store. They serve a wide variety of pastries and sandwiches and coffees. Latte - Pretty standard latte. Milk was ok and coffee was ok. The foam was a bit too foamy for me. Apple turnover - I love apple turnovers. I like the apple jam, the pastry on top and the large sugar cubes on top. This had all of that, except the pastry was a bit too soggy. Great atmosphere and decent food makes this coffee shop a staple in the neighborhood.

    Mozzarella Prosciutto Panini

I went here for lunch on a Saturday and it was pretty good. The wait was a bit longer than expected for my food. I got the Mozzarella Prosciutto Panini and I mostly liked it but felt like it was a bit too salty with the amount of prosciutto they included.

    Everything Bagel with Cream Cheese

Came here for a hangover breakfast and it was perfection. Inside was spacious and cute. The coffee hit the spot and the everything bagel seemed like a slightly different texture but was still delicious. I got it with cream cheese and bacon and the bacon was crispy and totally hit the spot. Behind the counter staff was also friendly. Totally coming back

Excellent coffee, pastries, service, and seating at this mom and pop stop. Large selection of housemade pastries and sweets for a small shop. Cozy, clean, friendly, and tasty. All good.

    Blueberry Scones

A nice little bakery just outside of the seaport Boston area. Came for some breakfast pastries and left with two Blueberry Scones that they were nice enough to warm up for me. Both were good, but I wasn't a fan of the lemon zest. Would come back to try out some other menu items. Service was quick and staff was friendly.

    Delicious selection

Broadway's was a quaint coffee shop that I visited while traveling to Boston. I grabbed a iced chai latte and an oatmeal cookie. There were a lot of delicious food options. My iced chai latte had a nice flavor but I like mine to be on the sweet side. Not sure if it was supposed to be like that and I needed to ask for or add sweetener. I was in a time crunch so I didn't have time to go back. The oatmeal cookie was extremely sweet and mouthwateringly good. I grabbed my items to go but noticed inside and outside seating options. Overall, a convenient choice for pastries and a beverage while in South Boston.

This bakery and cafe is delightful. Croissants are heavenly and made in house. Cozy atmosphere that's great for a coffee and a book.

First time in the Seaport area and treated myself to my go-to smoked salmon sandwich at Tatte. I enjoyed the combo of the umami salmon, capers, and creamy sauce with their fluffy eggs, avocado, and crunchy microgreens. For seasonal items, the summer corn bisque was creamy with just the right amount of seasoning and dill. The corn has a crunch and sometimes more of a chewiness with the intact skin (which I can see how some people may not be a fan of but I liked the textural contrast.) I also got their rose cold foam with the pistachio latte. The cold foam actually featured a nice floral, rosy flavor that complemented the pistachio nuttiness. The house tatte latte is another reliable go-to favorite of mine! As usual staff were nice and friendly. Food came out at a reasonable time given how busy it was. Again I love how consistent Tatte has been able to offer their yummy drinks and food across different locations in different cities throughout the years!

We walked into a space that stood out immediately with its design, mixing warm lighting, vintage-inspired décor, and a layout that felt equally suited for a quick coffee or a slower sit-down morning. The room had a relaxed but stylish energy, with enough seating variety to accommodate both quick stops and longer stays, and the overall atmosphere made it easy to settle in for a bit. The menu leans heavily into pastries and breakfast items, with croissants and baked goods being one of the biggest draws. We ordered a few things and found items like breakfast sandwiches, avocado toast, and seasonal croissants forming the core of the experience. The croissants in particular stood out for their variety and creativity, and the coffee drinks were solid and paired well with the food rather than trying to be overly complex. The pastries felt fresh and well made, and the balance of sweet and savory options gave us room to mix and match depending on our mood. The atmosphere is one of its strongest points. It can get busy during peak hours, especially in the morning, which sometimes leads to longer lines and a faster-paced service flow. When it is running smoothly, the experience feels very polished and efficient, but crowding can affect pacing. Service tended to be friendly and professional, though the volume of customers could occasionally make the experience feel a bit rushed during peak times. It is more of a high-traffic café than a quiet hidden spot, so timing your visit makes a noticeable difference in how relaxed it feels. Overall, Tradesman Coffee Shop and Lounge is a strong downtown café option if you are looking for well-made pastries, reliable coffee, and a visually appealing space. It works best as a morning stop or casual meeting spot, especially if you are already in the area and want something more elevated than a standard chain café.
