Found this spot near our hotel and in the Seaport district and was definitely happy. You order your food and drink at the counter and are then given a number for the table so the food can be brought to you. The line was a bit long but it does move quickly. They also lay out all seasonings/condiments at a table so you can grab it yourself, as well as a water station. I ordered the sparkling matcha lemonade, which had well made matcha! And the typical breakfast plate. The food came out about 15 min after ordering and it did feel as if it was sitting out for a bit. But it was still tasty, even though my bread was extra toasty. We arrived at 9am, place is very big and there were a good amount of people there. There should be better signage as to where the line starts. Partner ordered the Cheese Boureka "it was amazing, I loved the touch of sesame seed." I got the Pistachio latte, which was delicious. There were bits of Pistachio in it which was unique, and it was sweet but not too sweet, just perfect. As someone who has been writing so many stellar reviews for Tatte, I had the most disappointing breakfast sandwich today. It had a tiny piece of Halloumi, no sauce or seasoning, and basically just two slices of gluten-free bread with a small egg in between. I don't know if they forgot to add seasoning or it generally comes so dry - I also wouldn't advertise this as a Halloumi sandwich when you put one square inch of halloumi cheese in it. This simple order took more than 30min to bring out. I do appreciate that the team checked in with us about 20min in and asked whether we had received our order (clearly we hadn't) but I'm highly disappointed and unlikely to return to any location of Tatte now for food. We came here on a Thursday morning around 10am and as I read in reviews that people make their own lines, but the lines go by pretty quickly. You start at the pastry area where you can choose what you want then you order your drinks and food at the register. We had a family of 4 adults and a toddler and ordered separately and were able to snag a table inside. We got pastries like the pistachio croissant, chocolate, madam croquette and others. For meals I got the salmon, egg, and avocado sandwich which was very hearty (and my first time seeing sriracha Tabasco sauce), my friend got the corn and spinach shakshuka, which was really good, my other friend got a salad, and another person got a sandwich. It was pretty hearty and we had pastries for us to take for snack the rest of the day. I got a pistachio latte and my friends got iced coffees and americanos, coffee was also good. There's indoor and outdoor seating, people working remotely, people and families coming and going. I'm a Tatte fan and I've slowly been going to different locations every time I visit a different part of Boston. First time in the Seaport area and treated myself to my go-to smoked salmon sandwich at Tatte. I enjoyed the combo of the umami salmon, capers, and creamy sauce with their fluffy eggs, avocado, and crunchy microgreens. For seasonal items, the summer corn bisque was creamy with just the right amount of seasoning and dill. The corn has a crunch and sometimes more of a chewiness with the intact skin (which I can see how some people may not be a fan of but I liked the textural contrast.) I also got their rose cold foam with the pistachio latte. The cold foam actually featured a nice floral, rosy flavor that complemented the pistachio nuttiness. The house tatte latte is another reliable go-to favorite of mine! As usual staff were nice and friendly. Food came out at a reasonable time given how busy it was. I've been to multiple locations and they all have awful parking, the wait times are lengthy no matter what day/time you go, and the staff always seem irritated. I didn't want to write them off based on one bad experience but I've had four. My breakfast sandwich that's pictured was cold-- very annoying being that it took over 20min. The white peach/mint drink was refreshing but not worth the price and full of ice. The desserts aren't better than any bakery in the North End or Westborough for that matter. My two daughters had been to the Georgetown location of Tatte and they really liked it. So we decided to eat lunch here on our walk to Institute of Contemporary Art. We shared an order of lamb hash and mushrooms, potato, & bacon shakshuka. For desert, we ordered chocolate sandwich cookie and plain brownie. It was the first time my wife and I had eaten shakshuka. I am always on the hunt for a great coffee shop or café with solid espresso for my morning Americano fix. On a recent trip while staying in the Seaport area, I searched around and Tatte looked like the best option. Walking in, it is clear this is a newer location. The space is bright and spacious with plenty of seating inside and a large outdoor patio. As I got in line to order coffee, I passed their glass pastry cases filled with all sorts of tempting options. I told myself "only coffee," but then I spotted the Kouign-amann (pronounced QUEEN-ah-men) and could not resist. Since I was walking that morning, I justified the extra calories. The pastry was outstanding, perfectly caramelized on the outside with a buttery, flaky texture inside. Even better, the coffee impressed me too. It had a smooth, balanced flavor without the over-roasted, burnt notes you get at many chains. The place was incredibly busy and I'm sure it's due to some of the residential areas but also some of the many offices that are located within this area. When we first arrived, we were not able to find a seat at all as it is first come first serve seating. I grabbed a couple of seats at a community table while my husband ordered his coffee and pastries. A group left, and we are able to move to a regular table. My husband got the regular croissant and the cheesecake. The croissant was good a little chewy but overall enjoyable. The cheesecake seemed a little loose compared to other cheesecakes that we've had before. It was more like a cheesecake cream. But flavor was good. Coffee was very light compared to how my husband normally drinks his coffee. I opted for a chai tea latte and a morning bun. I believe this is quite the popular bakery cafe chain in the Atlantic Seaboard, but hell, Jamie W and I didn't know that when we dropped by for breakfast before our P-Town ferry was scheduled to depart. We were looking for a quick bite and just didn't want to miss the boat. It was a spacious upmarket spot where you wait in a slow moving line to order at the bustling counter. For whatever reason, the monied middle-aged women in front of us were taking an inordinate amount of time to order and showing complete indifference to those of us who were ready. Entitlement is an ugly thing, especially with a mismatched handbag. Jamie decided on the delectably healthy $12.75 Spiced Shrimp & Avocado Mousse Salad which was anchored by a half dozen shawarma-spiced roasted shrimp. Drizzled with a unique Aleppo parsley dressing, the entree salad included mixed baby greens, red onion, tomatoes, radish, pickled cabbage, and a house special feta-avocado mousse (Photo 8). I went more mainstream with the hearty $10.25 Prosciutto & Parmesan Scrambled Eggs covering a toasted slice of housemade sourdough (Photo 9). The eggs were particularly fluffy and satisfying. It went well with the sweetly smooth $4.25 16-ounce Cafe au Lait (Photo 5), while Jamie got the refreshing $6 12-ounce Mint Lemonade. Once we found a table and started eating, our experience went a lot smoother. It was the right amount of nourishment before what turned out to be quite a rocky voyage over to the tip of Cape Cod. I stopped by Tatte and tried the morning bun and an iced pistachio latte. The morning bun was excellent. It had a crunchy, sugary exterior with a soft, buttery center and a delicious streusel swirl throughout. The texture contrast was spot on -- crisp on the outside and tender in the middle. Definitely a pastry I'd order again. The iced pistachio latte, however, didn't meet expectations. Instead of a smooth pistachio flavor infused into the coffee, there were actual pieces of pistachio that settled at the bottom and repeatedly clogged my straw. It required more chewing than sipping, which wasn't what I anticipated. I was hoping for a pistachio syrup or sauce blended seamlessly into the drink for a smoother experience. The bread was tough to bite into and the bacon was OK, but the eggs were the best part. I've never had eggs as well seasoned and tasty as these. I walked past the Tatte in Harvard Square last night and it looked great. I went to the one on Pier 4 around 10:30 this morning. It was packed!! As a first Timer, I wish I had a little more time to let it all soak in but this place moves quickly. The bakery cases are amazing and it smells wonderful in there. I tried eggs in a hole and a hot chocolate. The Jerusalem bagel on the eggs in a hole was a first for me but very good and the little salsa on top of the dish was outstanding.
