Prosciutto & Parmesan Scrambled Egg Plate

Have always heard great thing about Tatte. All of their baked goods looked delish. We shared the Prosciutto and Parmesan egg plate which was yummy and definitely not lacking in parmesan which we appreciated The line was long but our food came out quicker than our coffees did. Would definitely go back and try some pastry's and other menu items.

Since coming to boston, I've been to a Tatte 3 days in a row. I love their hot matcha specifically and the shakshuka- oh and the cheesecake! Their menu selection and desserts have been yummy and reliable. Also clean bathroom and kind service. Some things are more filling than others, so order kinda based on your hunger levels. Shakshuka/ lamb hash is a much larger portion than chicken pita. Would 100% come again to grab a bite, meet a friend, or read a book :)

I'm adding to everything that you have already heard. Tatte is for aesthetics and light snacks. I've been to multiple locations and they all have awful parking, the wait times are lengthy no matter what day/time you go, and the staff always seem irritated. I didn't want to write them off based on one bad experience but I've had four. My breakfast sandwich that's pictured was cold-- very annoying being that it took over 20min. The white peach/mint drink was refreshing but not worth the price and full of ice. The desserts aren't better than any bakery in the North End or Westborough for that matter. Tatte comes up on every "what to eat in Boston" video however Boston has so much more to offer!

This coffee shop is gorgeous, the vibe, the ambiance, the displays. Everything looks great. The service was super fast and the staff members were very kind. All the pastries look AMAZING! It's hard to choose; I got the almond cherry scone and it was delicious, I also grabbed a large Cafe Au Lait and was pretty good.

I am always on the hunt for a great coffee shop or café with solid espresso for my morning Americano fix. On a recent trip while staying in the Seaport area, I searched around and Tatte looked like the best option. Walking in, it is clear this is a newer location. The space is bright and spacious with plenty of seating inside and a large outdoor patio. As I got in line to order coffee, I passed their glass pastry cases filled with all sorts of tempting options. I told myself "only coffee," but then I spotted the Kouign-amann (pronounced QUEEN-ah-men) and could not resist. Since I was walking that morning, I justified the extra calories. The pastry was outstanding, perfectly caramelized on the outside with a buttery, flaky texture inside. Even better, the coffee impressed me too. It had a smooth, balanced flavor without the over-roasted, burnt notes you get at many chains. I would absolutely return to try more breakfast or pastry items, and of course, enjoy another cup of coffee.

Super cute place near the pier. We were looking for coffee and a quick breakfast. Decent amount of seating inside and out. Came here on a Wednesday morning and no wait at all. We were able to snag a seat outside. I got a morning bun and an iced americano. Even though I ordered "for here", they handed me the pastry on a plate but didn't tell me they would be calling out names for the drinks inside. It was a little confusing since my friend also ordered for here, but she got a number and her drink and food brought out to her. I had to keep looking through the window to spot my drink and then ended up going in to grab it. Morning bun was tasty and so was the iced americano.

I was told before visiting that Boston food was mediocre, I didn't believe it until I got here. This place was recommended to me by several people as a "must get". So I got and I have to say it's okay but it's like Starbucks quality at a higher price. There's more food options than Starbucks though. The vibe was cute though I would study there in the evening if I needed to. I got the breakfast plate with eggs, bacon and has browns. The eggs were good, the bacon was super thin and extra greasy and the hash browns tasted stale and microwaved reheated.

The black sesame latte was great, not too sweet and coffee tasting. The lintel soup was a little on the spicy side. The staff was amazing and very helpful and chipper. The seating isn't cozy but it is plentiful and the place is gorge.

We arrived here on a Thursday early afternoon around noon. The place was incredibly busy and I'm sure it's due to some of the residential areas but also some of the many offices that are located within this area. When we first arrived, we were not able to find a seat at all as it is first come first serve seating. I grabbed a couple of seats at a community table while my husband ordered his coffee and pastries. A group left, and we are able to move to a regular table. My husband got the regular croissant and the cheesecake. The croissant was good a little chewy but overall enjoyable. The cheesecake seemed a little loose compared to other cheesecakes that we've had before. It was more like a cheesecake cream. But flavor was good. Coffee was very light compared to how my husband normally drinks his coffee. I opted for a chai tea latte and a morning bun. A morning bun is more or less like a cinnamon roll just minus the frosting. I really enjoyed it as it was a little sweet, but not overly sweet. The chai tea latte was super light.

I believe this is quite the popular bakery cafe chain in the Atlantic Seaboard, but hell, Jamie W and I didn't know that when we dropped by for breakfast before our P-Town ferry was scheduled to depart. We were looking for a quick bite and just didn't want to miss the boat. It was a spacious upmarket spot where you wait in a slow moving line to order at the bustling counter. For whatever reason, the monied middle-aged women in front of us were taking an inordinate amount of time to order and showing complete indifference to those of us who were ready. Entitlement is an ugly thing, especially with a mismatched handbag. Jamie decided on the delectably healthy $12.75 Spiced Shrimp & Avocado Mousse Salad which was anchored by a half dozen shawarma-spiced roasted shrimp. Drizzled with a unique Aleppo parsley dressing, the entree salad included mixed baby greens, red onion, tomatoes, radish, pickled cabbage, and a house special feta-avocado mousse (Photo 8). I went more mainstream with the hearty $10.25 Prosciutto & Parmesan Scrambled Eggs covering a toasted slice of housemade sourdough (Photo 9). The eggs were particularly fluffy and satisfying. It went well with the sweetly smooth $4.25 16-ounce Cafe au Lait (Photo 5), while Jamie got the refreshing $6 12-ounce Mint Lemonade. Once we found a table and started eating, our experience went a lot smoother. It was the right amount of nourishment before what turned out to be quite a rocky voyage over to the tip of Cape Cod. Yeah, we made it to the ferry. I know you were worried. FOOD - 4 stars...uniquely tasty dishes with Middle Eastern flair AMBIANCE - 4 stars...spacious but crowded SERVICE - 3.5 stars...good but a bit in disarray TOTAL - 4 stars...a solid pre-ferry meal RELATED - Exploring Boston? Such a great find. Every cookie and every pastry was absolutely out of this world. The salads and sandwiches that people were having around us looked amazing. Although we didn't try any. I bought a couple of small cookies and they were yummy. We're definitely coming back to order different things. The place was packed, but the line moved fast.

I visited on a busy Friday morning to have brunch with a friend. Despite the fact that there was quite a line, the food came out really quickly, and it was quite delicious. I love the wide variety of pastries you can get right at the counter, and there are additional menu items to order as well.

Great pastries, and the OJ was awesome. Service was quick and kind. It was busy when I visited, but not too loud. I was able to do some work without issue.

However, it's close to Boston Common and the public garden so there's things to do to while you wait. The owner and staff are super nice and friendly. They're cognizant that people wait a long time to eat at their establishment and treat you with kindness when you're inside. It is very cramped and the tables are close together, but the rustic feeling makes it a great place to catch up with 1 or 2 friends. There's a wide variety of breakfast/brunch items, so there's something on the menu for everyone. The kitchen also is good about substitutions. Additionally, the portions are reasonable for the price, especially for the area. Most entrees come with a salad, which was a fun surprise. I got the Signature Scramble and liked the variety in the dish. The eggs did have caramelized onions, which I picked out, but there was a good amount of sauce and flavor on the plate. This place has been on my Boston brunch bucket list, so I'm glad that I've gone. I'd recommend this place to people who appreciate a good meal, but wouldn't take people who are impatient or claustrophobic.

Prior to visiting Boston, I did my research on things to do and places to eat. Every search for…read morebreakfast spots mentioned Mike & Patty's as a must stop for the best breakfast sandwich you're going to get anywhere. Enough said! I'm a huge breakfast fanatic, especially a good breakfast sandwich or burrito. This is the original location that was started by two friends and has grown to multiple other locations since. We took an Uber here from our hotel. I imagine if you drive over here, parking will be a challenge. It's almost easy to miss. It sits on a corner of a brick building with just writing on the windows. In all my research I did not catch that it is the smallest restaurant in Boston at only 175 square feet. It's basically a room with most of the space taken by the tiny kitchen. There's also a little tiny ledge on the window with a couple of stools for those who may want to dine in. Customers including us took turns walking in and putting in our orders and then stepping out to make room for more people. It had a steady line the whole time we were there. Hours are limited from 7:30-2 so don't delay. Customer service was straight business, kind of the norm in Boston. Their menu is breakfast sandwiches, a couple of burritos and some lunch options like a turkey sandwich, BLT, or a Rueben. For sides, they have hashbrowns or a plain English muffin. For a small menu, they do have quite a few drink options like coffee, tea, juices, and different flavored milks including banana milk which I have never seen. For their food, they use high quality ingredients from local farms and purveyors and have their own bakery for their bread. My eyes fixated on the Breakfast Grilled Crack mainly for the name, but also all the ingredients looked tasty. It was quality eggs, bacon, four cheeses on sourdough bread. I went extra and added sausage to it as well. I also got OJ to wash it down. We realized our only option to eat comfortably was to go back to our hotel lobby to eat. Even with the travel time, the sandwich was nice and warm and the bread was still nice and crispy from the griddle. This sandwich was indeed one of the best breakfast sandwiches I have ever had. I almost felt guilty eating it because of how rich and cheesy it was. I would skip the hash brown next time. It did not travel well nor did it have anything special going on with it. Hands down one of my favorite meals of the trip that I would absolutely do again if I am in the area.
