    Oatmeal Raisin Cookie
    Sylvia H.

I was staying across the street at the Westin and was looking for a not Starbucks and saw that this was conveniently across the street at the Omni. I must have snuck in right before it got busy because I was only 3rd in line but after I ordered and got my food, there were almost 10 people in line. It was right before 8am on a Friday. The pastries looked amazing but looked a bit too much for what I wanted that morning. And I didn't have much room to carry one back so I opted for an Oatmeal Raisin cookie for later. I was originally a little worried that they only had cold brew for their iced coffee options. Cold brew tends to usually be very acidic but because they had nitro I had a little bit of hope. Pleasant surprise - the nitro cold brew was very smooth! Ended up eating the cookie later and it had a nice taste of cinnamon/nutmeg that you don't usually get such a strong hint of. It was alright overall.

While visiting Boston and staying at the Westin I was in search of local coffee that wasn't Starbucks. This place happened to be right across the street in another hotel, so it worked out perfectly. I was there early around 6:30 ish so no one was around. I ordered a quad espresso with a splash of heavy cream. The barista was very nice, the guy that took my order answered all my pastry questions. I just left with coffee. The espresso beans were good and not burnt, so overall my coffee was very tasty. I went back before we left for some pastries and more espresso. I ended up getting these small tall cylindrical ones the guy recommended. They were delicious! Definitely enjoyed this spot.

They have amazing pastries, sandwiches, and the best chai latte in the state. Staff are professional and quick. There is limited seating but you can pretty much take it to any seating area around the lobby.

Their raspberry pistachio croissant and cold brew coffee are great! Service is quick and it's located in the corner of the hotel with limited seating. Cafe is more for grab and go! Value: 8/10 Food: 8/10 Service: 9/10 Experience: 8.5/10

    Raspberry Pistachio Croissant

Cocorico has been hyped up on social media recently, so as a coffee and breakfast sandwich connoisseur, I wanted to see if it could live up to the hype. Ultimately, I would say this place is more instagram than reality. Breakfast Sandwich: Their breakfast sandwiches are served on a french breakfast roll, which is a unique twist I have not seen before. These french breakfast rolls are like a bigger fluffier english muffin or a denser brioche. Either way the sandwiches were pretty good, but nothing to go out of the way for. The Harrissa aioli was a selling point but I could barely taste it. Suggestion would be to ask for a side of sauce. Pastries: While the Raspberry Pistachio Croissant looks amazing and is extremely photogenic, it's an average croissant. The pistachio is overpowered by the raspberry to where it's nearly undetectable. The coffee was mediocre.

This place made my heart very happy. The lattes were delicious. I visited this little cafe all 4 days of my conference. The food had a great flavor profiles. The baked goods were amazing, fluffy, flaky, and very satisfying. They are busy but service is pretty fast. Limited seating is available.

Great quick service and good food / coffee. Got the drip coffee and strawberry pistachio croissant. Not many comfortable places to sit but love the conscience of it being right in the hotel.

Wow wow wow! I am a pastry fanatic and this place absolutely hit the spot! It's on the first floor of a hotel called the Omni. When you enter the front doors, turn left and you'll see a sign with a rooster. You'll notice a glass case with beautiful baked creations! The strawberry cruffin in the display immediately caught my eye--I had to have it! This thing is huge--easily the size of an infant's head. Don't sleep on the ham and Gruyère croissant--it's fantastic. You know the instant you bite into it that you are dealing with an exceptional pastry. The cheese flavor is excellent!

Yes, the pastries taste as good as they look! The raspberry pistachio croissant was incredible. I wish I had time to return and order more bakery sweets, they had so many options. I knocked off a star because I didn't like the breakfast sandwich. The bread was too dry and I should've asked if the egg could've been cooked differently. But when it comes to the croissants, cruffins, pastries, etc. definitely stop by Cocorico.

Skip the line at the Italian bakeries and head straight to the lobby of The Omni Hotel!!! Seriously this little coffee house is SO yummy that it is a big reason why I book this hotel every time I'm in Boston! Hazelnut latte with an extra shot of espresso and an almond croissant heated and your morning is destined to be great! Customer service there is impeccable with genuine gratitude no matter how long the line. There is seating with small tables or seats at the bar. You can also go relax with your coffee and pastries in the lobby hotel. Boston prides themselves on good cuisine with the North side bakeries, but I would take this yummy gem instead hands down!! @YelpBoston

It's rare when pastries look so gorgeous that I stop and say "wow". This hotel lobby coffee shop has exquisite pastries, and while not a coffee drinker, their tea was good, too. Service moved people through the busy morning line well, and so it was a much better than expected hotel lobby coffee experience.

Someone suggested I try Cocorico for my daily cappuccino! The barista made me a deliciously smooth cappuccino. They also serve delicious pastries and sandwiches that are made fresh daily! If you go for breakfast try the California, you're welcome!

It had a crunchy, sugary exterior with a soft, buttery center and a delicious streusel swirl throughout. The texture contrast was spot on -- crisp on the outside and tender in the middle. Definitely a pastry I'd order again. The iced pistachio latte, however, didn't meet expectations. Instead of a smooth pistachio flavor infused into the coffee, there were actual pieces of pistachio that settled at the bottom and repeatedly clogged my straw. It required more chewing than sipping, which wasn't what I anticipated. I was hoping for a pistachio syrup or sauce blended seamlessly into the drink for a smoother experience. Overall, the visit was okay. The pastry was a standout, but the latte fell short. Prices are on the higher side, though that's fairly expected for Boston.
