I chose a pain au chocolat and what I believe is called a "Swiss" (pain au chocolat with vanilla cream). Topped it off with a hefty slice of quiche and an egg, cheese and tomato on a croissant. The verdict -- croissants were uniformly light and flaky. Right amount of sweetness from the vanilla cream balanced the chocolate. I could have used a sharper cheese or some heat to break up the heftiness of the egg sandwich -- but all is forgiven because the croissant was the star here. Quiche was good too -- fluffy enough to keep us wanting more. If I had to give a note -- coffee needs to be hotter. Lukewarm cappuccino was a no go. Worth a shot!
