If I could do negative stars... I would! DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE! I went in, they told me they were the #1 choice for letterman jackets. This is not the case! People avoid this guy like the plague because he's incredibly rude. They don't even have a way to do embroidering or sewing patches on the jackets! I found out the same day I bought them that they are not the choice provider anymore and returned the jackets less than 6 hours later. The poor kid who just started there took the jackets back and then I got a call from the owner... He was unnecessarily aggressive right off the bat, and said he would call the school then call me back. He never did. We followed up, still no return call. I finally catch the guy at the store and he's again, super aggressive right away. I proposed we use the money I spent on the track team so at least it's put to good use... he said NO! I told him I would be posting about this experience and he said "Go right ahead, makes no difference to me!" So as it stands he has my money and the jackets... DO NOT BUY FROM THIS GUY! I was looking to purchase a letterman's jacket and was told via an online group that they thought Brogan's sold them. I went into the store and they told me they sold the official WTHS jackets but they only had 3 left. My child and her friends were all seeking them so I bought all 3 of them for $716. When I got home I learned from the kids that this was NOT the WTHS jacket. I brought all 3 of them back to the store (unworn/still in plastic) the next morning. I had the jackets for approximately 10 hours. When I tried to return them, they told me all sales are final. I left the jackets there and asked the owner to give me a call. I called the school and they confirmed they don't use Brogan's anymore and they use Jostens now. I relayed that information to the owner who stood firm on his no return policy. I pleaded with him stating that I understood the policy but the items were misrepresented and I only purchased them because they confirmed at the time of purchase that they were the official letterman jacket and they were NOT. He still refused to return. I asked if I could use the $600 towards other merchandise in the store and he refused. He was rude the entire time and did not care that his staff gave me false information to persuade my purchase. At one point he said "I'm not returning them! These jackets are 20 years old!" Which is precisely my point - they're not the jacket that Warren uses anymore. Terrible customer service and experience with no ownership or solution offered. I have 3 letterman jackets I can't use and I am out $716. I even asked if I could use the money to buy the track team shirts and he refused. steer clear of this business! I initiated an order probably close to a year ago for two plaques/nameplates that I wanted to put on my two sons' Boy Scout Eagle Projects in the local area. I provided schematics/pictures of exactly what I intended for them to look like. Today, Scott told me that they would not be able to fill my order. He said that my order was outside their normal market and that most of their business was repeat business. I can see why, since they are not serving incremental business very well. He suggested I try looking online. This is very disappointing since I try to patronize local businesses where I can. I suggest you steer clear of this business. Incidentally, most of his business seems to be associated with Warren High School, which my two sons are alumni. Very sad. read more

Like all the other reviews mentioned, worst customer service. We have been using Brogan's for a while as a repeat customer, but this time will be the last. They told us that we do not generate enough business for them to continue so they told us to go elsewhere. Just retire or sell the business if you do not intend to work anymore. read more

Horrible customer service. Rude and inconsiderate. Please reconsider using their services. I wish there were negative stars. My association is trying to honor one of the most inspiring leaders that we have had. We are in a bind and trying to honor him appropriately. He has done so much for this community. Today, the owner told us that he doesn't need or want our business and furthermore, the $70 dollars that we have spent here is not worth his time. I understand that it is a private business, but he was rude and inconsiderate. We serve everyone, regardless of their affiliation and background. Most of us have been in harm's way fighting for our country and to get this kind of service only shows that we still have work to do. We will keep serving humbly and we will keep securing the freedoms of those who treat us like we are a nuisance or not worth their time. Thank you for showing us your true colors. I am writing this review to highlight our experience. We will take our business elsewhere. I would highly recommend Brogan's Awards for their great customer service. The gentlemen were extremely helpful in assisting me in picking out new crystal awards for my organizations yearly recognition. They offered a large selection of awards to choose from and the final engraved awards were absolutely beautiful. The recipients were thrilled to receive such beautiful and meaningful awards. I usually do not write reviews but I was compelled to write this one because I am so impressed with the depth of knowledge of the employees and the incredible selection I had to choose from. Worst customer service EVER!!! My mother tried to get a plaque made at Brogans in Gurnee and they flat out said no because it was in their words a nightmare order...it was in Spanish?!?! She asked politely and said she would type everything out! They said they couldn't do it!!! So she asked for the paper that she had written the inscription on they said they shredded it! As a local coach, I've used Brogan's at least 15 times in the past couple of years for various trophies and have never had a problem, until this week. I ordered a couple of trophies with a "due date" of two weeks out. I was told that wouldn't be an issue, but as my event approached, I hadn't heard from them, so I called the day of my event. The gentleman I spoke to on the phone told me that they were having a supply chain issue, so the trophies weren't in yet, but I could likely get them later this week. I indicated that, since my event was that day, it wouldn't matter whether I got them later this week or next, but I would have appreciated a phone call alerting me of the issue so I wasn't scrambling on the day of my event to make alternate arrangements. At this point, he told me that I might as well contact another vendor, and he told me he was cancelling my order, leaving me completely in the lurch. I understand the issues vendors are having with getting materials, and I was willing to work with the company, but apparently the simple suggestion that I deserved a phone call to let me know the due date they agreed to was not going to be met was asking too much. This complete lack of actual customer services and the unprofessional nature of the Brogan's employee is enough to guarantee that they've lost all of my future business. read more

Took in a Waterford Crystal anniversary bowl for engraving, reviewed the font size, placement, etc. Wasn't ready when agreed. 2 days later I was presented with a ruined bowl because the engraving was very noticeably slanted and not really the size we agreed on. Had the bowl not been so expensive I would have just left it, but the woman insisted on being paid after reducing the charge by the $15 setup fee. When I presented it to my wife she graciously explained we would turn the engraving towards the wall. Obviously not at all the intent. Anyone can make a mistake, but is how you deal with it that defines who you are. read more

This place is great. I called at 10 am and needed two hats embroidered by 2pm. They did with a smile and the work was PHENOM!
