I haven't been to broken cage in a while. We decided to meet up some friends for drinks here before dinner. We made it in for happy hour. We were able to get a table for 4. Did a few rounds of drinks before happy hour ended. All the drinks were pretty good. Loved the vibe of broken cage. I forgot how it was inside. You were also able to order food next door from rusteak if you want. They had magical dining going on as well. We had arrangements to do Korean bbq but next time we will come back for drinks and food. A lot of the dining options on the menu sounded great. Our bartender was pretty awesome too!

So if you have decided that you want to visit Rusteak, visit the one in Thornton Park just to go next to it and visit Broken Cage. This little upscale bar is owned by Rusteak and is connected to it, but only located at the Thornton Park location. It is a very chill location with the only issue possibly being finding parking unless you pay at a garage not far from the location. Once inside be sure to take in all the nice decor and talk to the great bartenders. There is a happy hour which gives a nice discount to apps and signature cocktails. The cocktails are top notch and have very upscale combos which is nice. Then if you want food, with them being attached to Rusteak, you have access to their complete menu! They will of course bring and serve the food to you over at the Broken Cage side as well. Pro tip: If you do the Thornton Park Art walk I suggest parking and hitting up happy hour here first to start the festivities!

I had a great experience here yesterday for brunch. There was no wait compared to all the other restaurants in the area that required reservations ahead of time. It's such a cute spot for brunch! Very great atmosphere. They have a full bar too. I ordered a sangria and it was made fresh! It was super tasty. For appetizer, we order the loaded potatoes which were AMAZING. I will continue dreaming about these potatoes! I ordered the Korean chicken and waffles, it came with egg and bacon and a spicy sauce that was so good. Of course it was way too much food for me to finish it all but I wish I could've. My friend ordered the crab cake eggs Benedict and I got to try it, they were sooo yummy! I also heard great things about the shrimp and grits. Overall, we had a great experience here and I will definitely be back. Service was great too, although there was only one person working everything was quick and he was very friendly.

We found this place on accident and were pleasantly surprised. The speakeasy serves food from the neighboring Rusteak restaurant with a few unique items (the open sesame shrimp were easily one of the best bites of the night, would certainly recommend). The service was very friendly but they forgot my cocktail until we were almost finished eating - they had a big party in so certainly understandable, just wish it had come sooner as I would have had another. Overall definitely worth going to for a date night environment!

We had originally planned to go to Mather social gathering, but there was a line and we decided that we were too old to stand in line so we found ourselves here. This place is on my list of spots to check out. It's always fairly empty, but the decor is so cute. It's hard not to visit. We ordered some fries and desserts about 10 minutes and there was an hour left until the bar closed on a Saturday night. we were group 2 couples and all ordered different drinks. Everything was made well. The bartender was really nice and we had the place to ourselves. That is a win in my book. Everyone enjoyed everything they ate and a good time was had all around that hidden gem in the neighborhood and not too far from downtown, so if you find yourself in downtown and wanna escape the craziness and have a good drink head over this way.

A super cool place with a secret door, how cool is that? Great bartenders with the best drinks and an amazing ambiance, small but cozy and if you get hungry you can order from next door. Un lugar súper genial con una puerta secreta, ¿qué tan genial es eso? Grandes camareros con las mejores bebidas y un ambiente increíble, pequeño pero acogedor y si tienes hambre puedes pedir al lado.

From the moment we walked in this bougie little place, until the moment we walked out, everything was superb!!! The bartender was, hands-down, one of the best we have ever seen doing his craft!! Definitely a great place to hang out on a breezy Sunday afternoon. The vibe was very cool and the drinks were delicious!! Absolutely cannot wait to come back!!

I came here to have cocktails after a race in downtown Orlando! We sat outside; however, the inside area is very nicely decorated and a cool, chill environment. We were greeted upon entry (very nice host and bartender), and you are able to sit wherever you chose. Although I didn't order any food, it looked tasty and was presented well. There's no valet parking, but street parking and the parking garage are near. It's a very small, quaint place; but I enjoyed seating outside and people watching. It also doesn't hurt that the drinks tasted great and were reasonably priced ($10-16).

We originally were going for brunch at Rusteak (attached to broken cage) but after finding out about an hour wait, the hostess informed us to check out broken cage next door. We walked over and found a quieter, more exclusive environment with no wait and the same brunch menu as Rusteak! For us it was a win win. For food we had: - shrimp and grits: totally recommend delish flavor with the bacon bits on top - tiramisu french toast : lacked the marshmallow mentioned in the description, still tasty but would recommend another option to try first - Avocado BLT: delish, just messy with the egg so get ready to get your hands dirty! Oh and the sauce to dip your potatoes in is addictive.

After a filling dinner nearby, decided to stop by this cocktail bar for a nightcap. Not many people inside, and seemingly separated from an adjacent restaurant by just a door that connects the two. Was able to snag two chairs at the table in the back. Ordered the Fall Festival cocktail ($8.25) - Sipsmith gin with bitters, cinnamon, and apple. A little heavy on the cinnamon, but great to sip on. Since I love that brand of gin, opted on just the Sipsmith and Tonic ($9) next. A more generous pour overall. If the restaurant next door is still open, they do serve food, though it wasn't when we were there. Nice bartender and space. I think they may have cleaned the space recently when we arrived as it still smelled like cleaning supplies. Would recommend for an easy drink for the night without a crowd.

The ambiance and feel of the bar is very "sultry" and "intimate." The mood lighting, dark paneling/interiors paired with the bar itself being lit to be the center of attention, lends itself to the secretiveness and LURE that a modernized speakeasy would provide. I truly enjoy stepping foot into this little hidden, but NOT so hidden, gem (which can be accessed from the interior to Talay). Service can be slow at times - especially when they are busy. However, the staff is usually always gracious, helpful, and willing to serve. The few great mixologists I've met there have also been very willing to break down how they make their drinks and really give us a glimpse into their world. So, I'm appreciative of that. That is not something that you can always expect at bars. As for the drinks (and food I'll glaze over), I am usually not left disappointed. I appreciate that seasonally they play with their drink menu and introduce new cocktails. I also love a handful of their signature drinks on the menu. This may be the only bar I've had a drink with Aperol in it that I actually ENJOYED (and not tolerated). The pricing can get high depending on what you order, but for the area and the going rate of a night out, they hold their own. Definitely don't pop into Noir if you are looking for an AFFORDABLE cocktail experience because the tab will creep up on you. The food is OKAY. They share a kitchen with Talay and offer some items not on the Talay menu - which is nice. However, I rarely eat when I visit, so the few times I have, it's been okay. Nothing to truly brag home about. I am happy, though, that they did start offering food because in the very beginning (when they first opened), that was not an option. Anyways, Noir Bar is GREAT (to me)! I will keep coming here and recommending it to others. It's also great for a date night or night out with your friends. It's in a decent location - but please take heed of parking in this area, as it can be challenging to find FREE street parking. However, there is parking available all around and in various garages nearby.

Real good vibes. Orlando obviously has no shortage of places to eat, drink, and gather, but Alfie's belongs to that rare category of venues that feel equally at home in a major metropolis. It's the kind of spot that would fit seamlessly into Los Angeles's best neighborhoods: think Gold Line in Highland Park or the Vinyl Room at the Hollywood Palladium. Not because they're carbon copies, but because they share that intangible quality of genuine discovery and cultural curiosity. The crowd ( age range 25 - 35 mostly ) was genuinely engaged with one another. People were actually talking, actually present, not hunched over their phones. That alone felt invigorating. There was an undeniable spark in the room. Alfie's wasn't chasing trends; it was simply allowing them to emerge naturally. What impressed me most was how they brought it all together .. Retro stereo equipment and vinyl players from the 50s mixed with a bar area that's super sleek and modern. Conversations, music, the lounge itself .... all came together in a way that felt alive and IN THE MOMENT. When my LA friends visit, Alfie's is on the list. Go after 9 or 10 PM and plan to stay for at least two hours. That's when you really see the scene develop and come alive. Bring your ID: they card at the door. Even at my age, I still get carded. After we all piled into the photobooth, someone walked up and asked for our IDs. He wanted us to exit the booth to get them. Eventually said ok because we had already paid and on a timer. But he was very impatient. Let me add that there was not a single person in the entire place. NO ONE. Let me also add that almost our entire group is almost 40. So we're obv not underage. With the way he approached us and was completely impatient, we were a little turned off and left. Which lost them money on our entire group. He followed us out the door as we left. It was a weird experience especially when there was literally no one else in there. The music was good but I doubt and of us will to back based on that experience alone.

When I first arrived right at 4pm, I thought maybe it was closed as only my car was in the parking lot. There are TV's on both sides of the bar and at the entrance of the restaurant. I was able to indulge in World Cup soccer. Happy Hour is from 4pm-6pm Monday - Friday. Quite a few items are marked down to $10 as are some of the cocktails. I started with a $10 Lamp Martini (Dirty Gin Martini). I liked it although, it was super mini. I can see why it was "only" $10. I'd prefer a regular sized glass. I can't believe they charge $1 for blue cheese olives. The bartender recommended the Caesar Salad and told me it was one of the best items on the menu. Super duper different. I've never had a Caesar salad like this one. It's like little sandwich bites of salad. I really liked it. These things lived up to the bartender hype. Then, I tried the $10 Deviled Eggs. They were pretty standard. Then, I had the $10 Chili Bomb Hummus. I love a really good hummus and this one was that.
