My friend has always wanted to come here. It was her birthday so we went to dinner then tried to pop in for a quick drink. When we arrived, they were not open (it was a Sunday) and we waited for a good 20 mins to no avail. We were not the only ones. We had paid $10 for parking so we ended up going down the street to grab a drink somewhere else and said we'd keep an eye out to see if they'd be open later because maybe the time was wrong on their Instagram. It started to rain and as we were racing back to our car, it was in fact open! My friend was very happy. The drink she got was boozy and she'd like to come back for an actual event. It was pretty sleepy on a Sunday however that worked out for us, since she was able to take all the pictures.

This place was a total letdown. It has the perfect theme and absolutely incredible aesthetics, the decor alone is top-tier and makes you want to love it. Unfortunately, that's about where the positives end. The staff weren't very attentive, the drinks were disappointing (especially for the price), and the volume level made it almost impossible to enjoy any conversation. They do have a speakeasy in the back that's worth checking out, the cocktails there are far better, but it almost always has a waiting list. Unless you're coming for a special event or just to admire the decor, I can't really recommend this place. It's a great idea poorly executed.

    My favorite.

Initial Thoughts: If you love horror-goth themed bars that run year-round and not just on Halloween, Cocktails & Screams has your number in Orlando's Central Business District (CBD). The bar radiates Halloween 24-7-365, and I am all for it. If I lived in the surrounding area, I would come here all the time. I would spread the love with the core of the being. I would become with my eternal Dracula meets Freddy Krueger meets Michael Myers, combined with a bunch of Beetlejuice. From the moment you walk through the front door, you are confronted by the front drop of a haunted house, followed by a table of heads and masks hung on the wall. There is a small shack that, up a few steps, will lead you into a room where you can engage in psychic services (or it's Palm Reading, one of the two, but I digress). Once you pass the shack, you enter the main lounge area that comprises a stage to the far left, the bar to the far right, a VIP vampire lounge in the back, and another corner with some swing chairs that have some more psychedelic features. There are electronic portraits inspired by 1800s portraits that look prim and proper, then turn demonic, hung on the walls on both sides of the stage. The vibes are golden with fog machines flowing smoke into the lounge, purple and red velvet furniture, Frankenstein fixtures at the bar area, a flow of appropriate metal, and goth music playing on the speakers, all set against dark color lighting. We grabbed drinks at the bar fairly easily as the bartender was prompt and had her rhythms on point. Cocktail-wise, the list presented tends to fall more on the sweet side, so if that is not your thing, make sure to ask the bartender for more tart and drier options. But the drinks made you feel happy... and spooky. The Love Potion #9 shot is a solid tequila-based one with blood orange syrup and strawberry simple syrup. The heat-driven Horny Devil does fall on the spicy side if you aren't necessarily inclined (I was and was all for it) between the Ghost tequila, habanero lime, and blood orange syrup, and strawberry simple syrup -- you probably see a pattern here. But the gold ghoul winner is Madame Leota, who is smokey for the effect, like it comes from a witch's cauldron. Made with gin, white cranberry, elderflower, triple sec, and lime juice, this cocktail was my favorite between the taste, the balance of flavors, and the spookiness. Synergy. Extra synergy.

Had so much fun at this place will sure miss it. All year round Halloween bar with horror themed drinks. Even a secret speakeasy bar inside the bar. Also was a random drag show that was fun. There was alot going on here and will never be a place as cool as this to ever exist

Small little dive. Perfect for a little girls night out. I went there personally for a men's show which was very entertaining. The drinks were good. Nothing too flashy about them, but when you're at a cocktail bar, drinks are essential. The bartenders were very friendly. A couple of them knew the customers which means that they have frequent guest, which is a good thing. If a customer comes back overall would recommend this place for a quick little drink and some live entertainment again with the girls or guys LOL. Definitely recommend to go in just even for the atmosphere. See you there!

We came in for some spooky vibes and had a good experience. My girlfriends and I got a couple drinks and shots. I got the Madame Leota and it was really good. It was floral and fruity. I also tried the Love Potion and Butterbeer shots. The love potion was very tart and the butter beer was sweet and cinnamon-y. They have a fun unique menu and all the drinks are served in fun glassware with fog. Service is good and our bar tender was nice. Everything is Halloween themed and they have live music and events. It's a fun place to stop by, especially in the fall.

What a blast Cocktails and Screams is, it had everything you can want in a night club like great music from dance music like Tayler swift to techno, drum and base to RNB all the way to metal music, and grunge! Everyone is dancing and having a blast. People even dress up in costumes here like Cosplay. Plus, the atmosphere was just so fun with all kinds of spooky decor on the walls. From different movie themes like " interview with the vampire" to "Frankenstein", and different thrillers. The reason I gave this four stars is because we ordered many drinks to try that they recommended in their menu, and they were all terrible super sour and they were expensive found that out when we got our bill. Because there is no prices listed on the menu. Also, they had this really cool Pirate theme speak easy thing in the back. Right when we get in line to go inside, they closed. We waited for the line to die down and they close right in our face. We came a long way to try this out and they closed on us. But that's OK. We still had a great time. Love the atmosphere in this place. Loved the DJ he was so exciting. We would be willing to try it again because we had such a blast there.

If you love dark gothic scary places and the vibes of scary chilling places. This is your spot. Service at the door was excellent. The scary DJ was amusing and colorful.

Such a fun and well done horror/halloween bar! I felt like they included every type of character for Halloween/horror throughout the entire bar through decor and themed drinks! It was so fun to just relax, have live music, order cool drinks and enjoy your favorite vibes. The bartenders were extremely nice and very fast at making drink orders. Couldn't ask for anything more. I loved looking at all of the details they put in to each section of the bar, whether it was the drinks, bathrooms, tables, special corners, etc. well worth the visit and the drinks are SO good! I absolutely loved my frog's breath and witches brew. Both were the perfect balance of a good drink but not too sweet. Plus the dry ice was a cool addition to both. My husband had Franks stein and it was just as yummy! Definitely try out their speakeasy if you can (+ make reservations ahead of time) because it's quite awesome and such a unique experience. No photos allowed though!

The ambiance was spooky (per the advertisements). It's a bar establishment by the way the chairs were. It was an absolute fun time for me and my friends. The service was very friendly and entertaining. The MC and the dancers definitely know how to hype up a room. The drinks were okay in general BUT the "Purple People Eater" was an AMAZING shot. They also have a "Mystery Bag Vending Machine" and it was sooo cool. Love that they had that. I wish i took more pictures but amazing vibes.

okay vibe, okay drinks, disgusting bathroom, i honestly wasn't even going to leave a review before i saw this. the build up of mold from the lack of cleaning is something you wouldn't even find at the diviest of bars, staff seemed like they were waiting to kick us out lol. pretty terrible bar but with great company it's just below okay!!!

Great for spooky season and year round. Menu is very flavorful. Had a great new experience! Ambiance is great as well

"Cocktails & Screams" where 365 days is Halloween and with a speakeasy hidden bar I dare you to go in! Amazing Halloween decorations from horror movies photos and posters, statues, mask, smoke, voodoo, and more all year round! Their bartenders are friendly and fast making your drink. Pretty much all drinks are smoking and have great flavor. The atmosphere is also great, with live music and a Dj that interacts with the crowd to make your experience more exciting. Is like New Orleans in Orlando!

Are we allowed to wear Halloween costumes inside the bar?

There doesn't seem to be any dress code - I would go for it! You would match the ambiance.

Do we need reservations to get in?

For brunch on sundays and to get into the craft yes! They dont do reservations for the craft on sunday. But to get into the main bar you dont need reservations

Is reservations needed? Planning on going next Saturday Halloween. Thanks

Pretty sure they're selling special event tickets on their site to get in for Halloween and most nights two weeks before it. Any other time of the year you wouldn't need reservations :)

    How is the Parking?

You have to park in a parking garage, depending on the garage is depending on the price.

You have to be 21 to get in? what if you don't drink?

They offer stubborn Craft soda and juices and water

Is there any age requirements? Is it 18+ or 21+?

    21

Is there a cover charge at the door?

    Nope!

    What's the dress code?

    No dress code!

Has a new opening date been announced?

They had their soft opening on Saturday October 5,2019. I am not sure when the grand opening is. For being a Tuesday night it is nice size crowd. Great drinks. Very flavorful.

    Has this opened yet?

Not yet. It was supposed to be April

    Are you all open yet?

    It is open now!

When will this facility be open for business?

The ambiance and feel of the bar is very "sultry" and "intimate." The mood lighting, dark paneling/interiors paired with the bar itself being lit to be the center of attention, lends itself to the secretiveness and LURE that a modernized speakeasy would provide. I truly enjoy stepping foot into this little hidden, but NOT so hidden, gem (which can be accessed from the interior to Talay). Service can be slow at times - especially when they are busy. However, the staff is usually always gracious, helpful, and willing to serve. The few great mixologists I've met there have also been very willing to break down how they make their drinks and really give us a glimpse into their world. So, I'm appreciative of that. That is not something that you can always expect at bars. As for the drinks (and food I'll glaze over), I am usually not left disappointed. I appreciate that seasonally they play with their drink menu and introduce new cocktails. I also love a handful of their signature drinks on the menu. This may be the only bar I've had a drink with Aperol in it that I actually ENJOYED (and not tolerated). The pricing can get high depending on what you order, but for the area and the going rate of a night out, they hold their own. Definitely don't pop into Noir if you are looking for an AFFORDABLE cocktail experience because the tab will creep up on you. The food is OKAY. They share a kitchen with Talay and offer some items not on the Talay menu - which is nice. However, I rarely eat when I visit, so the few times I have, it's been okay. Nothing to truly brag home about. I am happy, though, that they did start offering food because in the very beginning (when they first opened), that was not an option. Anyways, Noir Bar is GREAT (to me)! I will keep coming here and recommending it to others. It's also great for a date night or night out with your friends. It's in a decent location - but please take heed of parking in this area, as it can be challenging to find FREE street parking. However, there is parking available all around and in various garages nearby.

Real good vibes. Orlando obviously has no shortage of places to eat, drink, and gather, but Alfie's belongs to that rare category of venues that feel equally at home in a major metropolis. It's the kind of spot that would fit seamlessly into Los Angeles's best neighborhoods: think Gold Line in Highland Park or the Vinyl Room at the Hollywood Palladium. Not because they're carbon copies, but because they share that intangible quality of genuine discovery and cultural curiosity. The crowd ( age range 25 - 35 mostly ) was genuinely engaged with one another. People were actually talking, actually present, not hunched over their phones. That alone felt invigorating. There was an undeniable spark in the room. Alfie's wasn't chasing trends; it was simply allowing them to emerge naturally. What impressed me most was how they brought it all together .. Retro stereo equipment and vinyl players from the 50s mixed with a bar area that's super sleek and modern. Conversations, music, the lounge itself .... all came together in a way that felt alive and IN THE MOMENT. When my LA friends visit, Alfie's is on the list. We'd been here before with friends for drinks and dessert, but this was our first time actually sitting down for dinner. We looked over the happy hour menu (good all day on Monday nights and Tuesday through Friday 5-7pm). We ask Mel about the "Bartender's Choice" selection under happy hour drinks. She said the bartender will mix a drink of their preference. The customer cannot choose the alcohol or any mixers as the bartender makes the decisions all by him or herself. Mel asked if we had any allergies or any other issues that might affect the drinks the bartender would like to make. We said we did not and we decided to take on this "choice" experience. Serena was the bartender of the evening and she did an amazing job. She mixed up various concoctions for us throughout the night (we ordered a second round after the first one) and we enjoyed every drink she prepared. The presentation of the drinks were also well done. Serena's cocktails consisted of bourbon, rum, and various ingredients which could include bitters, lemon, agave or other cocktail mixers. She was the bartender extraordinaire of the evening. For food, we ordered the half dozen chicken wings (2 orders since they were so good) and the pizza empanadas to start. The two empanadas had mozzarella cheese stuffed inside and were served with a warm marinara. From the main menu, we ordered the Faroe Island Salmon, which was served on a bad of risotto and tomato butter, with capers. The portion of the salmon was somewhat small for the price of $28, but it and the risotto were cooked perfectly. We ended the night with their signature drink, "Death in the Afternoon" which contains absinthe and is one of my favorite drinks here in Orlando. It was another five star experience and my friend found a new restaurant she now loves. All in all, a great night thanks to the attentiveness and easy-going attitude of Mel, our server, and the exceptional cocktails from the bartender, Serena. Thank you both for a job very well done!

There were a few tables with people, and I noticed a few more seemed to be working on their laptops so great idea if you would rather work with a beer or glass of wine instead of a coffee.

We ordered the buffalo chicken egg rolls and the deviled eggs (with no bacon) as appetizers. For our new drinks we got margaritas, I got a regular margarita and my partner got a passion fruit margarita. For entrees, I had the famous fried chicken and my hubby had the meatloaf. The ambiance of the restaurant was nice, relaxed, they keep the shades lowered during the day to reduce that sun intake and it's lovely. It feels nice and relaxed in here no matter the weather outside. Again, we enjoyed the experience but the service was fairly slow. We had to pretty much know what we wanted by the next time we saw our server or flag her down to get her attention. She was waiting about 4 tables on our area. We were party of two.

The drinks were great and the food was soo good that we still talk about it days later. He loved the bone marrow. Steak was perfectly cooked, tender and juicy. The cake was not my favorite at all. It took way too long to come out and it came out very cold. Not much chocolate flavor, too much salt. It was missing something. We will skip dessert next time.

Our server was very kind and she gave us recommendations for appetizers and my friends chose the garlic bread and the whipped feta. Both were very delicious! The whipped feta had this sweet jam paired with it. I got a tequila cocktail, I forget the name, but it ended up being a little too sweet for my liking. Their little ship had cute Knick knacks and the ambiance was very warm and welcoming! I would love to come back to try more food and cocktails!

The Neighbors is a cozy little hideaway that's perfect for grabbing a drink after exploring the market. We had already eaten downstairs, so we just stopped in for a couple of cocktails, and it was the perfect way to wind down. The service was warm, friendly, and attentive, making us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. Just a heads-up: seating is pretty limited, so I'd recommend arriving a little earlier if you're visiting during peak hours. Whether you're looking for a pre-dinner drink or a nightcap after browsing East End Market, this spot is definitely worth checking out.
