Excellent beer and great, friendly staff. I'm not a real beer guy but I really enjoyed the unique beers here. I loved the Bubba's Tea Bag and the basil beer. The Double Impact IPA was outstanding. The Broken Goblet had a great atmosphere. Every night there is something cool going on besides the beer. Tonight was South Park night and they played some classic episodes with some fun trivia between episodes. I mentioned to my wife that my phone was about to die and one of the staff offered to charge my phone. I will definitely be back! read more

Great beer selection! I got the October saison and they had a band playing there that night. Gets packed and outside they had a pizza truck which tasted really good, I think it was artisan gourmet pizza, they gave us a sample, and after that, I was hooked! And the brewery lets u buy the food from outside and bring it in because they only do drinks here except for snacks like popcorn. Fun crowd and plenty of spacing with tables that are seat yourself type of deal. For the bands, legit a full blosn stage, think they hold concerts here. read more

First time here. Nice place. Spacious. Looks like a good outdoor area. Poss good place to hear music. Was more interested in just tasting the beer and I have to say I was underwhelmed. The American Pale Ale lacked any distinguishable taste. Yeah- I know, Pale Ale doesnt have taste but decent ones do. I moved on to the Cream Ale and it was a meh. I will go back to try their IPA. Pulling into the industrial complex my girlfriend and I were a little hesitant. But, that emotion quickly faded once we entered. Although small with limiting bar seating the ambiance was great. I love going to the Goblet because they make great beer, the owners and staff are all so friendly, and they're constantly having charity events. I'm not sure why anyone would say that these people don't like dogs when they have a charity event FOR dog rescues in the area, plus they own dogs themselves. Typically when you serve food you aren't allowed to have animals walking around, which is why some places open up pet friendly patios. They're constantly adding new brews and they are very different from any that I've ever had. Keep up the great work!! read more

In a world full of pop up breweries, not all of them can be gems. Broken Goblet is located in a business lot. Once inside the patrons are friendly. The beer itself is tasty, but nothing i haven't had before. For starters, it tastes like beer. Go to enough breweries and you end up drinking beer that tastes like it was made from a home brewering beer kit. I don't remember recording it on my untapped app. Which is why I can't remember what I drank for this review. I'm not saying its bad beer, it just doesn't stick out in the spectrum of breweries. read more

My friend and I stopped in the other night to check this brewery out. Nice atmosphere, very friendly workers, but something was up with the beer. It tasted good going down but the next day my friend and I both felt like we woke up after a long night of drinking cheap beer. I had the same feeling I used to get in my 20's after a night of drinking Bud light (Gross). Now before you think we must of drank too much at the brewery, mind you we both only had two 16 oz. glasses each. I'm wondering if anyone else had a bad experience after drinking the beer from this place. Something had to of been contaminated or something during the brewing process. read more

Really awesome interior, inviting and relaxing. This is a small place, but both times I've been here (a Friday night and a Saturday afternoon), it has been really cozy. They offer a limited food menu that I can't comment on since I've never had anything off of it. The beer - both times I visited, I've ordered a flight and the beers ranged from just ok, to pretty solid takes on the style. The strawberry tea pale ale was a step above the others, and I dug the pineapple wheat. Both the IPA and the double IPA were on the maltier side, which really isn't my thing, but they were by no means bad. There's a cool vibe here, and my fingers are crossed that the beers they come out with keep getting better and better, as this could be a great hidden gem kind of place in the area. read more

I visited about 2 months ago with my girlfriend and another couple, and I thought the experience was too average to bother with a review. But at the time I bought a special release big bottle of belgian tripel called Nori that I just cracked a couple of days ago, so here I am. I'll start with what's fresh in my mind, the Nori Belgian Tripel with Lavender. I'm a homebrewer, so I get that brewing is a lot of work, and I feel guilty being overly critical. I also frequently brew belgian styles. But I was only able to get through maybe half a glass of this before I dumped the rest. The Lavender was overpowering, and the beer had a sharp chemical taste that was further accented by the potent booziness of its 10% ABV. The aroma burned my nose. As for my visit, I was given a groupon for a tasting as a gift that was a great value. It was designed for two, and came with 4 large samples in decanters plus 2 drinking glasses. I thought it was a nice presentation and a great way for a couple to do a beer tasting. Inevitably we will have different favorites which makes having each beer in a shared vessel convenient. The beers in the sampler were average. Everything was drinkable but no standouts. The impact IPA was pretty good. The amber was too malty-sweet, not particularly well-balanced. The bar snacks were nice, it's good to have some snacks with beer. Mixed nuts and bagged nachos and hot dogs. Ballpark fare. The staff was friendly and attentive. I thought everything was just fine but then I got a pint before I left of a pale ale on cask. And well...it sucked. I left half a pint on the table. I never dump beers, but there is a trend in this review. This beer was served from a proper cask which means it's poured via gravity not pressure and the empty space in the cask fills with Oxygen not CO2. So the beer goes stale if it's not consumed within a few days. This beer might have been good on the day it was tapped but was clearly well past its prime. If it were mine, I would not have continued to serve it to strangers at full price, if at all. Broken Goblet, if you're reading this, I truly hope you are learning and improving and someday produce great beer. But in a city with so many options I just can't recommend your brews to my friends at this time. Neshaminy Creek is nearby and brews some quality beers. 2nd Story has a similarly sized brewhouse and is brewing better beers in the city. read more

Truly, an amazing atmosphere. The staff/owners are incredible people who care so deeply about the quality of their service. I'd recommend getting into conversation with any of the owners so you can see for yourself. The beer is always awesome and different with such reasonable pricing. Really cool events and entertainment, but, even on a quiet night this place shines. This place is so flippin' clean, I'd eat off of the floor. They have a large parking lot so there is always lots of parking which is a plus! This was a Groupon inspired trip. Very easy going environment, eclectic decor. Took the tour, not much to see but they were cordial enough and even let us try the stoudt they had on tap in the back since the one @ the bar was on nitro. Didn't care for the fact that it was " bartender choice " on our flight which depended on what they had the most of. The stoudt was the best. Small menu of munchies but didnt try any of them. The brewery gave me the impression that there was a lot more to come for them unfortunately a 2hr drive for us so it wil be a bit til we try this brewery again. read more
