Another no nonsense, industrial park, good-beer brewery. I have a special place in my heart for these labors of love, and you can taste the passion in their brews. Second Sin has a lot going for it; for starters, great beer. I was immediately drawn to their Maple Boi Stout (brewed with my fav local coffee shop, Calm Waters) and their It's Cobblerin' Time- Mixed Berry Sour. To my dismay, their ABVs were 12.1% and 9.5%, respectively. ALAS! No worries. They offer the elusive 4 oz. pour! Because of the smaller portion options, I was also able to sample the Kolsch and the Gose. All four of my beers were packed with flavor. The Maple Boi was super smooth, and the Cobblerin' was deceptive in its booze content, with a super fruity palate. The only disappointment was the lack of 4 packs. Their only offerings at the time of our visit was the Kolsch. (Crowlers were an option, though!) The other thing Second Sin has going for it is space and parking. There's indoor and outdoor options with a plethora of choices. They also had some football playing and enough room indoors to social distance. I will say, they didn't have any food, except for $5 pre-packaged popcorn. I think they have food trucks that come, but we arrived right at opening on our visit, and there wasn't one there yet. The staff was super quick and super friendly. I also happen to LOVE their can label designs, displayed on the side of their fridge. The beers are reasonably priced, the location is inconspicuous, and the people are good. I'm a fan.

New brewery in the same location as the old Broken Goblet, which has moved to larger quarters down the road. Originals and guest beers running. Some very high in alcohol. About 20 high tops and a short bar with a few stools for service. That's Your Big Boy, 9.3%. Smell of coffee and cinnamon. A bit cloying mouthfeel. We liked it. New Material blonde ale was bright and fresh 6.4%. We liked it. We also tried a guest beer a Neshaminy Creek Vienna lager. Excellent. A nice color. Second Sin raspberry, a sour ale gose, I.e., salt. Some of us liked it some did some did not. Lastly we tried Second Sin MR Multiplier. A very nice IPA. Grapefruit and floral notes. Not the best looking color however. Two gender non specific bathrooms. They were new, clean and spacious. Plenty of parking right out front. A very nice new brewery in town. Mark.

Best brews in the area! I visited this brewery on a Sunday afternoon. The inside was clean and quiet - we were greeted by the head brewer/co owner who seems like a real solid guy. The bartender took our order and even carried it outside for us, which he really didn't have to do! The beer was awesome - we tried 6-7 off thé menu and each one had a juicy, clean flavor. No weird after tastes or smells, which I've seen in other breweries in the area. All solid high ratings on my untapped Will definitely be returning!

Stopped by to check out a new local brewery- one of my favorite things to do! I also love that they're Bring Your Own Food-- so we got some of our favorite Mexican food to-go and brought it here to enjoy with Second Sin's brews and had a great evening! There was some indoor tables, bar tables, and outdoor seating available as well. We started with the Perfectly Cromulent NEIPA and Guavissimo sour and they were so tasty! We also enjoyed the Mr. Greenshorts DIPA and It's Cobberlin Time Peach sour. There were a total of nine(?) beers on tap, and you can order as a 4oz, 8oz, 13oz, or 16oz. Everything was great, and we look forward to returning again to see how much this new brewery blossoms! Great beers with great growth potential!

Nicely designed, but kind of small. Not a huge selection of beers; mostly heavy beers (which just aren't my style).

Beer wise, well they have always been average. I'm not really a fan of anything they make. It's average at best, some brews are true to the style and some are head scratchers. They've never really made a higher ABV brew I've said bravo to either. Without getting into the weeds if your a beer geek you won't be wowed by their brews. They have alternatives though - mead, cider, wine and cold brew coffee. Full bar and a very nice staff. Beer two stars .... building gets the third star and food from Cheese Dawgs gets them to four. Mediocre brewery meets good solid pub grub with awesome specials in a good bar setting. Kid/family friendly atmosphere. When I do get a hankering for some dogs, this is the place though.

Our experience at Third State Brewing was awesome! Leashed and friendly dogs are typically allowed outside on their patio facing the main downtown area, but when it is quiet, you can check to see if you can bring your dog inside. As you may know, New Jersey was the 3rd state to join the United States, so they have a perfect name in the very historical town of Burlington. A warm and inviting space, the indoor tasting room has bar seating and tables with games and a TV to watch the game. The outside has a few tables and you can people-watch with a great beer in hand. We enjoyed a delicious flight that included Pumpkin Pail, Burlington Island Wheat, Stinger hard seltzer, and Less Vulnerable Eric lager. They also have a non-alcoholic option. Small taproom right in downtown historic Burlington which is a lovely small town Main Street right by the Delaware River. Always lovely atmosphere inside. Co-owner and head brewer Billy always makes the time to come over to say hi and is one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet. Small tap list. There were nine beers on tap during our most recent visit on a Saturday in April. But always a great amount of variety and well crafted, interesting beers. They have some beers available in cans and certain special releases in bottles. I think they particularly excel in stouts. When we were there they had two imperial stouts that were out of this world. They do an all stouts weekend every November so if stouts are your thing definitely keep an eye out for that.

I was disappointed to see they only had two of their flagship beers for takeout (Hey Yo NE IPA and Independence Lager) and no crowler canning machine for their tap list. They will fill your personal growler and the prices for their 16oz four packs were fair. $10 for their lager and $14 for their Hey Yo NE IPA. There are a lot of other breweries charging much higher prices and/or you're paying a flat amount for beers no matter what the style (which is ridiculous) .... I can understand a higher retail if it's a limited release or higher end brew. I made it a point to return and sit down inside the brewery to take it all in. My life plans landed me there on a Sunday, unfortunately Sal's next door is closed on Sundays, so a food truck parked outside or Durham Deli across the street had to do. The layout on the inside is inviting: picnic tables or bar seating are your options. They have board games to test your mind or keep your kids occupied and there were several TV's playing NFL games. The bartender was nice and a good conversation. He was very into their beers and gave great insight into: when they were tapped, what was coming down the pike and info/ingredients of current tapped brews. I didn't see much in the way of a menu with descriptions of each beer, but then again I didn't ask. I just looked at the tap list on their menu boards which noted the tap number (16 total), name of the beer, style, abv, price and the ounces of the pour. In my opinion the variety of beer styles they had would give any beer drinker several options to try. I sampled a few different styles: Belgian IPA 7%, Winter Warmer 9.4% and their American Pilsner 5.8%. I found them to be average to slightly above average and served in proper glassware. You can get flights, a single 5oz pour or in a glass that ranged from 10-20 ounce pours. The prices were between $5-$7 for a 10-20 oz. pour. The to-go cooler had four of their brews this time and also a second cooler had local Jericho Mountain Beef. You can buy several different styles of vacuum sealed meats that looked delicious. They also serve wine, seltzers and non-alcoholic beverages. The bathrooms were pretty big and clean. They welcomed a pretty big family with several kids so I'd say your safe to bring the fam!! I'm a fan of Broad Street Brewing, I think their prices are more than fair, the staff was nice, their beers are average to above average and true to the style (from what I've tried) and the building itself was clean, open and inviting. I enjoyed my experience there and will return (preferably during Sal's business hours!). Thanks guys!

I have to say I've never seen MP (market price) next to wings. Long gone are the days of ten cent or quarter wings my friends! They did have a dollar wing special on that day, so we put in for an order of Ernie's Wings - house-made buffalo sauce. buttermilk ranch. sesame seeds. scallions. wood-fired. They were fresh, a decent size and just average. The sauce flavor was adequate. I wouldn't repeat. We put in orders for two pizzas (one half and one pepp) $15 and the other was what I came for a Honey Hot Sop - red sauce. shredded mozzarella. fresh mozzarella. soppressata. hot honey. grana padano $17. The pizzas came out hot and extremely fast. The half plain, half pepp was typical. Nothing bad, nothing great with a nice char, tasty cheese and a slightly sweet/lightly seasoned sauce. The Honey Hot Sop was delicious. It had a sweet sauce, sweet yet rich buttery cheese, nice char, yummy soppressata and then a spicy peppery kick that punched you in the face. We also ordered plain fries. They were crunchy with almost a hollow core. Not a fan. I had a fresh craft hazy IPA (I'm sorry the name escapes me) that was on tap to enjoy with that wonderful hot sop pizza. They have a couple of sandwiches I'd love to try like the Chicken Fra Diablo - chicken cutlet. sharp provolone. long hot peppers. pomodoro sauce. served on a seeded roll and a cheesesteak. Our server was quick, prompt and friendly. She checked in on us several times. I'll certainly return to Itri when I get a chance. Thanks guys!

A customer favorite is the "Famous Drilled Orange" where a hole is drilled into a fresh orange and filled with vodka. You have a choice of a grapefruit and also a liquor-free version. The Lady Guava rum-based drink is also so delicious and there is a whole list of cocktails to choose from. They also offer local beer, wine, mead, and non-alcoholic options. I didn't have the pleasure of visiting Dog & Bull before it was renovated, but I visited last night and can't wait to return. My friend and I made a reservation for 5:30 PM (just in case) as we read online that reservations were recommended, but I don't actually think one was needed. When you walk in, it's bright and inviting. The garage doors throughout the property provide a ton of natural light. I can only imagine how lovely it is when they're open in the summer. Additionally, the outside has a nice patio and an area with a fire pit. The restaurant's layout was designed wonderfully! Our server was Alex (Alexandria) and she was the epitome of exceptional service. She checked in on us multiple times and always had a smile on her face when she came over. We really appreciated having her. The baked feta and hummus appetizer was just as delicious as it looks in the photo. The thick pieces of garlic, roasted red peppers, olives, cucumbers and pita bread triangles paired so nicely with the feta. The hummus was warmed up and it looked like the kitchen staff may have torched the top of it. It was phenomenal. Boy do I have notes on the lentil burger - it was 10/10!! I'm not a big bean person and even though this burger had beans in it, it somehow tasted like an actual beef burger. Sounds crazy, I know, but trust and believe it was pure excellence. I added cheddar for an additional charge and upgraded my regular fries to garlic parm fries. Finally, the caramel apple bread pudding... oh my oh my! What a DELIGHT. The top was piled high with a big scoop of frosting. Yes, you read that right. Frosting! Not ice cream! You can taste the apple pieces in the bread pudding. My friend and I wanted to order it twice. It was THAT good. It was easy to make my way to Dog & Bull from Center City thanks to the Septa station located directly behind the restaurant. Street parking also wasn't too bad yesterday. I absolutely loved the experience I had here and will be stopping by again this summer! Thanks, Dog & Bull!
