Ok so this was my first experience ever staying at a hotel...or in this case, an Inn...where there are ZERO!! employees! Like, you walk in...the keys to your room are in a basket with a piece of paper on the counter, name on that as well. It's very weird. I guess the ...the future? Lemme say a few things..good and bad about that. The Good! Ok...super convenient. In.....and OUT! You drop your key in the basket and bounce. No check-in or check-out. But see! AH! There is also some bad to that...."bad" FOREVER we have ALL dealt with front desk employees. So...we all have gotten used to that, right? Of course. There is some kind of comfort in having a front desk employee there. Thats about all the good...I would say lol The BAD! What if you lock your key in your room on accident? You are basically screwed. Not sure if there is a way to contact anyone to get you back in and yes....they are actual keys! Not the little cards we all see at regular, mainstream hotels. I DID! lock my key in the room the following morning. THANKFULLY! there was ONE employee there...BUT she was there to make the continental breakfast...which I will talk about in a min. She was able to give me my spare key. Thank God. If you need something in the middle of the night...oh well. There is no one there to assist you. They tell you where extra towels are and stuff like that on the paper you get when you check yourself in. It's an Inn...and Inn very close to the slopes. So when there is actual snow and the place is packed....I would assume its similar to being in a college dorm lol Don't get me wrong tho, place is very homey. The common room is incredible and I kept imaging it when I was there....FK! this would be so much fun during ski season and this place is full of people! HOWEVER! People drink and drink a lot. The walls here are THIIIIIIIIN!!! So be prepared for that! BRING. EAR. PLUGS! and use the in room ac unit for the fan to drown out noise from other rooms. You will need it. The views from the rooms are beyond incredible. I have some attached. Beautiful views of the slopes and in the Fall...the colors. The breakfast! FKN! INCREDIBLE!!! She put out all the basics, bagels and whatnot, full muffins...amazing! She made these cinnamon muffins....SO. GOOD!! I too a few home with me to give to my mom haha! Overall, it's a great place. Really is. I would definitely stay again. OH! They allow dogs....for a fee of course...even the super tiny ones. They will know too if you have a dog with you. Cameras....everywhere. It's located on a busy road..so keep a close eye on those pups. The grounds around the Inn are amazing. Cute little pond out back, sitting areas all around. It's a wonderful place. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone going through Manchester or anywhere near there. Very unique experience. I honestly can't remember ever staying at an Inn before. My family stayed two nights at the Bromley View Inn and I wanted to share some information for other parents traveling with children. My kids loved the inn and the great room gave us a wonderful place to connect with cousins but...there is very little soundproofing in the rooms and, as a result, it was a bit stressful to try to keep our two (under ten) quite enough that we felt we weren't disturbing other guests. We had issues with the Roku television maintaining a connection to the internet and the hot tub (while lovely) is directly outside a room - you can see into the room while you're sitting in the hot tub. Most other guests seemed understanding...but we definitely got a few frustrated glares. read more

I had a 3-night reservation (check-in 12/17, check out 12/20) that I had to cancel due to a positive COVID test on the 17th. Management permitted me to cancel my reservation day of, and provided a full refund. I offered to email / send a picture of my positive test, but I was told it was not necessary. I don't believe many places would have been as understanding and empathetic as the Bromley View Inn was that day. Seems like it's run and staffed by some GREAT folks! read more

The Bromley View Inn is a cozy and charming place to stay. In total, I will be staying here nearly 3 weeks and it's been very enjoyable. We had a great experience at the inn! We reserved two rooms for 4 people but one of us had a dog. You should let them know ahead of time so they can give you a room on the 1st floor if you have a dog. No dogs are allowed on the 2nd floor. We forgot to do that but they were able to accommodate us by making last minutes changes to the room. Our specific room upstairs (without the dog) had a fireplace which was nice. It's decent sized with a double bed. The staff was very friendly. The lounge, play area and bar was neat with a pool table and a ton of board games. The breakfast from 7:30am-9am was very good with two different options to choose from along with coffee and drinks. Overall, we had a great time and it's only 10-15 mins drive to mount snow. read more

Cute little Inn with beautiful panoramic views! This B&B is located15 minutes outside of Manchester and offers one of the best deals during peak season. There may be a waiting list so definitely book in advance in you are 100% of your travel plans. We stayed for one night (which was a nice option) since most other inns require a 2 night minimum. It's a well renovated home that's been transformed into a multi room Inn. Most of the rooms are upstairs. The bathrooms were renovated but the rooms still have an old world feel to them. Breakfast starts early and is prepared by Kevin, the owner. The charm of this inn is really the panoramic view you're surrounded by in the dining room whiling having breakfast. It was the best part of our stay at Bromley View Inn. After breakfast, be sure to take your coffee outside to enjoy the fresh mountain air and breathtaking views of Bromley Mountain. Kevin is a genuinely nice guy and offered us great tips and advice for our stay in Vermont. We will definitely be coming back next year to Bromley View Inn! read more

I've been staying here since the first owners took it over here in 2006. I've seen this place under a couple different ownerships over the years. And I just came back to find out a couple wonderful gentlemen by the names of Austin and Dan recently bought the place. These guys are top notch. Service was excellent as its always been, they're extremely friendly and accommodating. They bring a new type of energy I think this place has been needing for years. If you're leery about coming here because of new ownership, I can assure you this place is in good hands and your stay will be as great as its always been, if not better. They have some big plans for the Bromley View Inn and excited to see what these guys can improve around the place in the future. Good job Austin and Dan, and good luck with the new business venture! Our usual spot is the Lodge at Bromley, but they were all booked up this year due to a Boy Scout trip. Michael and his sister are welcoming and the rooms are clean upon arrival. Bathroom is new and the shower is hot, things you want in a hotel catering to skiers. Although the breakfast may have been more convenient if it were to start about 30 minutes earlier, the timing was still good and the breakfast was delicious. The building itself is close to both Bromley and Stratton with a slightly longer yet still reasonable drive to Magic. Overall, it's a great place read more

This is not last years Bromley View Inn - Much to our surprise Kevin and Kami are no longer there. We have been going here for quite sometime. New owners are still figuring things out - but I have to admit - they did a good job adjusting when we threw them a curve ball of 7:00 breakfast instead of 7:30 - in the past that was never an issue - but to be fair they were new and they really don't know ski racers...yet. Lodge is pretty much the same as it was - Breakfast was not as good as Kevin's but still pretty good. Still a great bargain compared to the offerings at Stratton - BTW the beers on tap at $7.00 a pop is a bit much! read more

The innkeepers were just lovely people! They were so warm and welcoming and gave us tips for things to do in the surrounding area. The inn was wonderfully quaint and rustic. They have spectacular views. The breakfast was absolutely inventive and tasty. I had lemon ricotta pancakes with maple syrup. Also, they have local beers on tap-- the blackberry wheat was great. I hope to make it back someday and would definitely recommend it to others. read more

BVI is an amazing B&B that should be your destination for Bromley! If there was 10 stars I would give it. Starting with a great view of the mountain of course, this place has Michael at the helm, a kind and thoughtful soul that clearly has an attention to detail and genuine love for hospitality. The room was spacious and comfortable, the breakfast (and I was in need of a big "hiker hunger" breakfast) was awesome with everything from fresh juices to carefully made crepe style pancakes to an egg scramble that will pack your belly. Since I didn't have a car, Michael ran me into town twice AND offered trail pickups and drop offs (summer season keep in mind). The humongous lounge/rec room is amazing and I would like to return in the winter to see how that must explode with use. There's also basically a private bar since they can only serve hotel guests now. Private bar at your own hotel! BVI is quite big for a B&B and has suites that seem to accommodate families, and right before my stay the entire place was booked out so sounds like a great destination for an event. Fantastic place! Looking at some of these reviews you'd think people believe they are checking in to the four seasons! It's a bed and breakfast, and a very well run one. Our room was the mountain view and was a decent size. Mounted flat screen in the corner, modern updated bathroom with in wall AC. The motel water did take a couple min to get hot, but it certainly gets hot! The motel itself is inviting, its cozy with fantastic views. Large outside deck in the back runs length of the motel. There is a large bar and lounge area (no liquor license) but you can bring your own alcohol and the owners allow you to use ice/coolers behind the bar! The lounge has a large flat screen with a couple couches and pool table, very inviting. Breakfast every morning with your usual fare (eggs/pancakes/toast). Really did not notice anything about noise in the mornings. The walls are a bit thin, but not to the point where it is an issue. The owners? Very inviting: kevin and Kami Golembeski.. they will pretty much do what it takes to help you get the most of your stay.. area has a ton to offer! Stayed here for 2 nights with my fiancee and we both agreed we'd love to come back and stay again. The Inn is very easy to get to, surrounded with plenty of things to do, and the innkeepers are some of the nicest people you'll meet. Like many other reviewers stated, Kevin and Kami are extremely inviting and welcoming, without being overbearing. I've stayed at a few B&Bs and have never been this pleased after a stay. We had a coupon so the price was definitely a factor for us, but if their prices stay around what they are during the busy winter season, you might want to book your stay ASAP. Since the place was all booked up during our stay, I'll give you a look into a typical night at the Bromley View Inn... My fiancee and I checked in and were starving, so we asked the innkeeper Kevin for a recommended place. He gave us the name of a few places within 10 mins. I won't mention the place he recommended, but he was right on the money because the place was great. We returned to the inn for a nightcap. Here's where this place really stands out from other B&Bs (as far as I know). We walk into the common area where there's a big-screen TV, leather couches, a pool table, a closet full of board games, an awesome fireplace with plenty of seating, and a wine/beer bar. Absolutely perfect for a nightcap, we sit down at the bar and order some beers from the selection of local breweries on tap. Kevin and Kami chatted with us and the other guests, which added an element of comfort and homeyness to our stay. I could go on and on about how much I liked this place, but I think Kevin put it best. You come to the Bromley View Inn as friends, and leave as family. Like previous reviewers mentioned, the hosts are kind and welcoming. They do make you feel like home. The breakfast was yummy, and the mountain views from the back porch really are spectacular especially during the peak of fall foliage. The alpacas are adorable. The only complaint is that the price is way too high for what you get. It's not a 4 or 5 - star B&B, yet the prices reflect as much. The rooms are very noisy with thin walls, the furnishings could be updated, and although the labs are fun to have around, it kind of smells like dogs and could have used a good vacuuming. If the price per room was under $100 per night, these minor things wouldn't have been an issue. read more

Stayed 2 nights recently. Choose this place cause they allowed pets. Kevin was nice to us, we hardly saw his wife and when we did, she was not very interactive. The place was well kept. The reviews we read regarding the thin walls are completely accurate! The water takes a while to get hot but it gets there. The lighting in the room was poor. We basically were in the dark the whole weekend. Our biggest complaint however was that the heat was very very low or ir felt like it was off! We had the idea that we were going to be in a cozy, warm, quiet, cabin like place and that was not the case here. Overall, for the price, it is a good deal, breakfast included and close to town. Just bring warm socks, gloves and scarfs if you come in the winter! read more

This place is fantastic! From the warm, cozy and clean rooms to the wonderful host and hostess- Bromley View Inn cannot be beat. Kami and Kevin make you feel right at home. They make a stellar breakfast, and the Labrador Lounge is the perfect way to unwind after a day out and about. Might I add they have several beautiful Alpacas and alpaca products such as scarves, hats, and mittens available. We spent a great night and breakfast at the Bromley View in between hikes. I'll admit, I may seem uncultured, but the idea of a bed and breakfast has always kidn of creeped me out. I am by nature a solitary person, and have been just as happy camping outside in a likely spot or sleeping in the backseat of my car as I have been staying at some surprisingly(at least, if you were looking at me) swanky places. However, Kevin and Kami were friendly without being intrusive, and the common area for the lounge was relaxing with a big 70's style firepit, a few televisions and a long beautiful bar with good regional brews on tap. Also how could you not like a place where if you sit still long enough, a dog will come over and lay down over your feet to get petted? Breakfast in the morning was very good, the room itself was pleasant and exactly what we were looking for. Of particular note was an ingenious little flat panel electric heater. Very effective and welcome after coming in from a long hike. We had a great view of the mountain from our little window. Also, one can't underestimate good water pressure in the shower. The one issue, and it is nitpicky, is soundproofing. The couple one room over were not having as good of a time as we were, and we got to hear every little accusation and recrimination. Conversely, as my girlfriend and I were celebrating our anniversaries and birthdays in our own way, I fear that we were probably a little too loud for our neighbors as well. From what I see of the Bromley View, the owners are slowly but surely making it 100% their own, and it seems like they've thought of everything else along the way. I doubt if this will be an issue when visiting in the near future. Overall a very excellent experience, and after the great experiences we had, I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again or recommend it to others. read more

This is a review of the B&B (not the restaurant). When I first entered I wasn't sure how the place would be based on the (non-owner) innkeeper, but the place had very nice rooms (we had one with a jacuzzi) and a very tasty and filling breakfast (we had a choice between pancakes and eggs/potatoes/toast). I liked how Kevin seemed to take such pride in his breakfast cooking and his appearance---I felt like I was on a cooking TV show. It was quiet and peaceful and relaxing. We stayed here during a recent fall trip to Vermont and felt very much at home. Truth be known, we chose it because of their Labrador Lounge and the fact that they obviously loved their pups. We were indeed greeted warmly by Oregon, Elery, and Vasser, as well as by the owner Kevin, himself. Arriving late, we got settled just in time to relax in the lounge and watch my team play Monday Night Football. Kevin joined us on the comfy leather sofas and I can't imagine a better way to spend the evening! Our room was amazingly large, clean, and well appointed. Also, they have alpacas on the property, which was really neat, and Kevin's wife makes the most gorgeous items such as blankets, mittens, hats, etc.. out of their fur. If we had kids, I can imagine they'd have been ecstatic! Bromley View Inn is in a beautiful location and we found great hikes crossing the Appalachain Trail just down the road. read more

I've traveled the world and have stayed in many hotels, hostiles, bed and breakfasts and NEVER have I been treated with such kindness with such warmth and treated like family. While working on a Feature Film in Vermont the cast and crew got to stay at the Bromley View Inn. Within a day Kevin and his amazing family memorized all our names (a crew of over 20 folks) and remembered our dietary needs. The food was INCREDIBLE, the service IMPECCABLE and Kevin's mom was SUPER amazing (and brought me soup and crackers and tea when I got sick). I wanted to put her in my pocket and bring her home with me. All in all the BEST service I've ever encountered. I HIGHLY recommend this place and look forward to my next trip to Vermont as I know where I will be staying when there!!! LOVE THEM!!! read more

i recently brought my 21 year old sister and her friend here for a short ski trip at stratton. we loved it! at first there was a mix up with our room, mostly due to a groupon error, but Kevin was cool about it and accommodated. we loved the breakfast every day. it was a little chilly in the room though. the common room by the bar was all decked out for Christmas and they have a nice pool table.
