Fabulous property. Stayed in the green mountain suite and the bathroom was insanely huge. We freaking loved it. Staff were all very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was simple but free and enjoyable. If you're looking for a cooked breakfast you'll need to go off property. Very reasonably priced and not far from the center of town.

Beautiful hotel. Tranquil n relaxing. Not your typical chain hotel. Super comfortable beds, nicely decorated rooms, fireplace, deck w a view of mountains. Staff awesome. Robin went above and beyond to help us. We got lost hiking and were so late. Everything was closing. She made sure everything was set for us and also helped us find somewhere to eat in Bennington after we dropped off rental. Talk about hospitality! Definitely recommend to anyone staying in Manchester!

I have to say I'm pleasantly surprised at how beautiful the location is. It's exactly what I wanted for a peaceful fall weekend. Thankful for the price as well.

WE LOVED IT! We just stayed for one night but it was such a cozy little cottage I wanted to stay longer. It's nestled on a little hill and was so quiet and peaceful. The bed was very soft and comfortable, the sheets were fresh and crisp and the under blanket was soft and plush. I usually have trouble sleeping but I slept very well and soundly. The little deck led out to a spacious well maintained yard. We were able to go out and see all the stars, something you rarely see with such clarity in NYC. The staff was very nice and helpful with informing us about what to do in the area. They provided a gracious continental breakfast. I hope we come back soon for a longer stay!

My bf and I decided last minute to do a VT overnight knowing the weather was going to be perfect and we wanted to drive up Equinox mountain. Found this gem. I could be wrong but pretty sure any room you're in you'll have a beautiful view. Stayed in the Norman Rockwell room which was a great size (2 rooms), fireplace, king bed, jacuzzi and a huge private porch. The place exceeded my expectations from the kindness at the front desk, the cleanliness of our room and the unbelievable upkeep of the property. My only complaint would be the bed, If you toss and turn a lot of your partner tosses and turns a lot you'll get no sleep, it's quite noisy. Overall my favorite inn this far. I look forward returning

I'm gonna share these thoughts in no particular order. The hotel is incredibly dog friendly. That really stuck out. They're human friendly as well, but they are especially dog friendly. My impression of the hotel is that the Kimpton brand is so incredibly good at bringing outdated into today and still keeping the classic or historic elements in place. You can see that here through some of the photos I shared. Feel free to grab a bike or a scooter from the front and take a ride around town or around the property. If you brought your dog, grab a stick from the dog stick library and if you need to sit down and have a drink, every evening at five there's a Social hour where you can meet your neighbors and play some checkers over a glass of complementary wine or beer. There's usually some sort of snack involved and plenty of activities inside or out. The entire staff is friendly and genuinely helpful. It might be an act, but it looks like they enjoyed being there. I would highly recommend staying here if you're in the area. Here's a couple more notes. They have activities from bocce ball to a swimming pool, and the library is full of activities for people of all ages. Don't forget to grab a complementary cup of coffee in the morning on your way out for the day. The property and the rooms were always clean and the AC works like a charm.

First impressions mean a lot, and ours were favorable: Handsome and well-tended grounds and a warm welcome at the reception desk. Our king studio suite was ample and spacious, though the layout is a little awkward. The bathroom seemed newly refreshed, with barn sliding doors and a large walk-in shower. The buffet breakfast had all the greatest hits one would expect (waffle bar, oatmeal, eggs/sausage/hash browns, fresh fruit, yogurt, toast/bagels/pastries) and plenty of hot beverages and juice. Though Manchester has an abundance of inns and B&Bs, if those are either fully booked or out of your price-range, you won't go wrong by booking a room at this Hampton outpost.

Our biggest issue is with the complimentary hot breakfast, which is edible -- barely. We appreciate the availability of their coffee, but the food needs an upgrade. The hotel hs a nice looking pool which we've never used. And it has a lot of construction underway at the front of the property (a large brewing company is going up), but we weren't bothered at all by construction noises.

Great experience! Very eclectic, unconventional. Breathtaking mountain views…read more My family rented two vacation houses at the Wilburton for our large extended family of 25 -- I knew very little about the property before we arrived, so we were taken aback by the sprawling turn-of-the-century mansion and spectacular mountain views as we drove up the driveway. We absolutely never expected the art installations across the grounds -- including 18 x 26-foot Egyptian statues! The art and decor were eclectic and unexpected, and I found them very intriguing. It's definitely not your traditional resort, but that's what we liked about it. And the statues made for an amazing night with smores by the fire pit! The Reunion House was spacious -- we particularly enjoyed the living room, as it gave us enough room to comfortably host the other half of our family (about 25 of us) for a casual birthday party. There was plenty of seating with cozy leather sectionals and two large dining tables that seated about 8-10 people each. My daughter loved playing the piano in the living room, and the rooms downstairs with the daybeds were a great place for the kids to hang out and watch TV together. (The galley kitchen is a little small, but we were aware of this ahead of time because it was mentioned on their website.) We were there during a massive heat wave and all the air conditioners worked very well and kept us cool. Our kids loved the volley ball/badminton area steps away from our house. The outdoor pool is beautiful and it was so wonderful to be able to gather there easily with our whole family. The innkeepers were friendly and helpful. And we enjoyed looking around the mansion as well. There was so much do to in nearby Manchester -- great restaurants and shops, the bookstore is fantastic. We also enjoyed the ropes course and alpine slide at Bromley Mountain. We can't wait to return next year -- we'll be staying at one of the other properties even closer to my extended family's rental house and I'm so excited for its private balconies, jacuzzi tubs, and even more beautiful mountain views!

The grounds are beautiful, serving as an outdoor sculpture garden, perfect for strolling or meditation. The inn is located away from the bustle of Manchester Center, but only a few minutes away from Main Street and the state roads to reach nearby towns. The main house was rented out for the weekend, so we were unable to go inside, but Melissa graciously offered to give us a quick tour when we checked out (contactless, as was the check-in), so we had the opportunity to meet Melissa, as well as the "doggie concierge" Jetson, and sampled some muffins baked on the premises. Top-notch service and hospitality, would love to return in the warmer seasons!
