The beer selection here is as good as it gets for beer nerds. I don't quite count myself among them, but I do enjoy the variety of options and ever-changing taps. The one downside is that if you really love a particular beer that you have it might not be there the next time you drop in. The food is tasty but is a little expensive, especially for the area. The burgers and wings are great and their salads are surprisingly good. I will say that the macaroni and cheese was a little disappointing, at least to me. The pasta was a little too al dente and had too little cheese sauce, though the cheese sauce itself did have a good flavor. Nachos are suppose to be nachos with meat and all the trimmings to dip into not search and rescue for a little extra. Nachos are not suppose to be soup, it had so much oil at the bottom, the Nachos started to float. My Corona came to the table with the sweats cause the server forgot to pick it up the bar and the snow white frost was gone. Bring cash so you can tip less, the credit card tip recommendation starts at 20%. Not deserved. The two stars is for the beer selection ONLY which is solid. As we all know you cannot mess up beer. However, I ordered Jerk Wings which were dry and Parmesan fries which were soggy and greasy. Neither, wings nor fries, tasted freshly made or good at all. I needed extra sauces just to eat what little of it I could. Please, keep in mind that we were told that these were recommended as the best items on their menu! This was such a disappointing experience that we didn't even finish our food and absolutely did NOT need a baggy to go, as I do not have any dogs at home who might find it edible. I happen to live near the area and I have to say this place is good for any occasion and very used it' as such. Their brunch selection is actually delicious, so good that my partner and I visited this venue twice within the same week. The food was insanely delicious and our server was very kind and attentive. With that being said I had to ask for water more than a handful of times. It's HOT AF and as much as I love beer I don't want to be dehydrated. Service was poor all around especially when I had to wait 15 min to get the servers attention for napkins and utensils after the food was dropped. I've only been here twice and both times were great! Service: Both times the waiters were nice and attentive. They checked on us multiple times and always made sure things were going well. Drinks - I'm a cider type of person so glad they always have a cider on tap and I have never been disappointed with the options. I also enjoy fruity beers. They had an delicious raspberry beer the first time I went! I haven't been able to find it ever since then. Food - So let me tell you that their everything bagel fries are my favorite! I recommend them to anybody who comes here and enjoys everything bagels. The wings are really good and they have a good amount of flavors to pick from. The nachos were good even though I wasn't a fan of the chilli. I would not recommend the spinach artichoke dip. It was all good as we hung out by the bar conversing to kill time. We ordered a few rounds of drinks and two orders of 24 wings. We chose the lemon pepper, barbecue, sriracha and the Thai Chile flavors. The wings were really crispy and flavorful and the vibe was eclectic as they were playing nothing but Hip-Hop classics! I want to give a special shout-out to our lovely server "Nature!" She was very friendly, patient and genuinely concerned for my friend (who was driving) and offered extra popcorn and water to help him soak up his alcohol. I come here often with my wife for lunch or late night drinks after exams over at Lehman College. I walked in and immediately noticed the very cool and original decor. I love bars that have uniqueness and Bronx Ale House is a great representation of that. The beer menu on the tv screen was extensive and rare. I love how it tells you how much beer is left in the keg for each type. Def earned some cool points. Also, the food is a must try! They have Chicken N Waffles & Mac n Cheese. I can't think of anywhere else in the surrounding area that offers this.
