This past Wednesday I booked a last minute appt for 730pm on a cold windy night, couldn't find parking to start off. Had to park on the busy street in front of the intersection. It was so dangerous I just jumped out of my passenger side rather then drive around again. When I walked in the girl working took me right away and put me in a room. It was so cold in there, the fans were blowing I had goose bumps I stood there naked and waiting for over 5 mins which is forever when your freezing. When the girl finally came in she didn't even prep my body with anything , she just went about spraying me in the poses, I was wondering how even my tan would be bc I've always been prepped at a professional tan salon .. anyway, she was done and gave me a tiny air hose and said use this for 2-3 min .. I'm thinking why am I working ? I have to dry my own body? That's really not how it's done in high end salons. I was so cold and trying to dry off but the tan was running down my body. After 5-6 min. I got dressed and asked her if it's ok that my body is still wet. She said yes. The quick spray is like that. It will even out in the shower after 3-4 hours. I showered and my hands had spray tan on them, I had white creases on my wrist, my inner thighs were dark bc the spray tan sat saturated there more I guess when I was waiting for it to dry. My tan was horrible. For $45 or whatever it was I'll never go back. It's a completely over rated tanning salon. I'd rather do a machine warm mystic tan at palm beach over that any day. I smelled like spray tan for 2 days too. I did call and tell the receptionist about my experience.. she just said the manager would call me. She never did. That's why I can't help but write this bad review bc I feel completely ripped off or they really don't care about your tan being even and professional ** id post pics but you can't see my skin very well in them and I'd like to keep these kind of body pics private. I love this place!! The shop is relatively small but very simple and stylish. You are offered either water or Bellini (omg!! It's so yummy!!) before you get settled in a room. I got bikini and upper lip sugaring and even though it was my first time, (I've always done waxing), i didn't feel uncomfortable at all. The girl who helped me (sorry didn't catch her name) was super friendly, fast and really did know what she was doing. The whole procedure took only 10-15min max. Not a good experience. I booked a Brazilian sugaring & tan a few weeks before my Hawaii vacation - I wanted to try sugaring for the first time (I've waxed, epilated & everything else, but was new to sugaring) & treat myself for my vacation. However, I left disappointed & uncomfortable... My Brazilian wasn't a Brazilian - somehow only the hair "down the middle" wasn't long enough, even though there was absolutely no issue removing hair anywhere else & it was long enough for me to do myself when I got home & realized how stupid I looked with all that long hair in one place. Although she had offered a free touch up in two weeks, that would've been after my vacation & the point was to look nice for my vaca - hello, something nice for the bf? I was left wet & naked when the door of the tan room was swung open, exposing me not only to the hallway & waiting area, but also the street (yes, I saw cars & a man walking by through the glass front windows). Maybe consider a curtain in front of the tan room door? Am I the only person who gets spray tanned nude? I have no problem with nudity, but I don't enjoy being exposed in situations I didn't choose to people I didn't choose. The tanning girl/receptionist lied to me about the fees & wouldn't take the deal that the sugarist had given me to use that day. To be fair, the deal said it was new clients only & I had been to Bronzed Bunny's other location once a few years ago for a tan, but I told the sugarist that & the deal was for the sugaring, so I assumed she was giving it to me since it was my first time at this location & first time sugaring. The girl who did my tan rung me up & when I presented it to her, she told me she had already figured it into my price, but when I looked up the fees online she charged me normal price. Why lie??? If you didn't want to honor the deal for some reason, just tell me that & I would've understood, but don't lie to me. I'm neither a child nor stupid. Do not treat me as such. The tanning girl/receptionist was rude. She didn't even say thank you for the tip, which was more than 20% - not that that matters for a simple thank you - you should say thank you even if there isn't a tip because a tip isn't required & by giving you my business I'm keeping you in business. Despite my not-so-great experience I have a hard time giving a not so great tip because I know that's how most people in service industries earn most of their money, but not to even say Thank you??? So Rude! Not only that, but the entire time I was there, I felt uncomfortable around her & patronized by her.. I can't pinpoint whether it was the super forced "honey" & "sweetie" or the shitty looks I was getting from her.. and it wasn't just me, my BF came to pick me up & asked what was wrong with her without me saying anything. Maybe it was an off-day, maybe because I came in with sweats & no make-up & she assumed I had no money, but you're in service "honey", you should at least be able to be honest with customers & scrape up a thank you when someone gives you a tip. Maybe a smile? Maybe actually be grateful I walked in & gave you my money? Maybe she doesn't realize how many options there are for tanning in the area.... I hope you learn very quickly. First off, the girls who work here are so nice and attentive. I felt really welcome and comfortable there and the rating has nothing to do with them, but with the actual quality of the tan. I got the rapid spray tan from bronzed bunny and was very underwhelmed and disappointed with the results. I had a decent color, then showered after 3.5 hours like the person told me to. You start seeing results after 8 hours, and I was pretty happy with the results, I really liked my color. However after about 30 hours, it has faded drastically. I'm disappointed how much I paid for this tan to decrease so much in a little over a day. I'm also patching, especially my hands and legs, which is not ideal as I wanted an even tan with no random white pat Also, the smell of this tan is very strong and not pleasant. After my shower (where I used only water) I could still smell it. I thought it was just because I didn't use body wash. So I showered again after 24 hours, and while not as strong, the smell still lingers. Maybe the normal spray tan is better, but I would not recommend the rapid tan! read more

Hands down the best golden spray tan I've ever had! Yes, it is intimidating to have some cute, fit, twenty something spray your cold, naked, pregnant, pasty white a$$, but they make it as comfortable as they can and it gets easier every time. The girls are all very professional and kind and the place is clean, well put together, and feels indulgent from the moment you step inside. I had a few excellent tans during my pregnancy and opted for the quick drying one because I get grossed out sleeping in tanner....warning: you will immediately look like you were playing in the mud....it will gather in your creases (elbows, etc.) and NO it won't stay that way!! It will rinse off to a gorgeous glow that deepens overnight! I can say one time I didn't wash off my belly lotion (got keep that growing belly moisturized) and my lotion (Aveeno) made my tan greenish there....they did remind me, but I went ahead and left the lotion on...my bad...making sure you are squeaky clean is serious biz! I didn't care, i was headed to a formal affair and a bare belly was not part of the outfit! The last time I went the tan immediately seemed significantly lighter than prior times, the girl who sprayed me was great and let me know that if it didn't develop like usual to give them a call...I got a half shade darker, but not the norm and when I called they were super sweet, mentioned that they had since taken that particular gun apart and saw it wasn't working at 100%. They offered to put a tan on the books for me for next time and the whole experience was easy peasy and left me feeling great about the Bunny! Some places can be rude when things don't go as planned, but the staff here was awesome! They also keep track of who sprays you so you can request the same person in the future, which is great! I was trying The Bronzed Bunny out for my bridal shower and hoping to use them for my upcoming wedding. I have had many spray tans over the years and have never had one as splotchy, streaky and orange as this one. I tanned with Stephanie (who is very sweet), using the medium rapid tan. In preparation for this appointment I followed all the pre-care recommendations given, including thorough exfoliation. I was told to wait four hours to rinse off, which I did and also told not to use soap for 24 hours, which I adhered to. Last night, I noticed a large spray line on my hand, a white line on my calf and a line on my knee. My wrists are orange and after getting out of the the shower for the first time, my feet look like Frankenstein. I am mortified to attend my bridal shower tomorrow morning like this. When I phoned the manager, she claimed that it wasn't a reflection of their tanning process and I must have 'bumped' something. The pictures speak for themselves. She reluctantly offered a touch-up but unfortunately, because my shower is tomorrow, I think that would make matters worse. The Bronzed Bunny is pricey at $55/tan and I had hoped their quality matched the price. Save yourself the embarrassment and hit another salon. read more

I'll just begin by saying I had such a good experience at the Bronzed Bunny. The communication from making an appointment to adding an appointment at the same time as mine for my husband, after the fact, and to confirming our appointments was on a whole other level. My questions about sugaring were answered in the phone when I made the appointment. I was even able to text them the day of and they were so prompt in responding to me. Makes it much easier - especially during the day - to be able to text rather than make a phone call. Kaitlyn was who did my spray tan and sugaring. She was so great. I was pretty nervous to get a bikini sugaring done but she made me feel super comfortable. I had never gotten a bikini wax before and was pleasantly surprised how painless the sugaring process was and with a great result. I'll definitely do it again. The tan turned out great too. Ok, I want to give this place a one star for service but in all honesty the actual tan itself is a 5 star, thus my 3 star rating. If you want a fantastic tan you will likely get it here and the rest of my comment is probably irrelevant. But for the record, I found the staff to be extremely annoying and remarkably uninformed. I had to get a tan for a photo shoot in 3 days and this was my first spray tan experience but getting the information I needed out of them was almost comical. If you're as ditsy as the staff it probably will not bother you. And if you're a guy, there's a lot of estrogen in the air so try not to throw up. But if you can get past the annoying spray tan experience, you will most likely get an amazing tan. read more

Okay, I don't understand why I had such a terrible experience after reading all of these reviews. So, I had an afternoon appointment for a custom airbrush tan and I had high expectations from reading all of these positive reviews. First of all, I get there and was made to wait about 25 minutes, even though I had an appointment? And I noticed there were other people waiting as well, busy day perhaps? Second of all, when I go into the room, the girl (I can't figure out who it was, but I will find out! Haha) gives me like 30 seconds to get out of my clothes and into the appropriate position and she didn't even knock, she barged in while I was in the middle of removing my dress.. I found this to be a little rude, since I'm used to people knocking before coming into a room? Now to the actual tan. She pulls out the nozzle and starts spraying me and it hurts! It felt like a hose spraying harshly at me. The whole process took about 5 minutes and I have had spray tans before. This was a ridiculously short amount of time. She pulls out an overly used pad thing and dabs at me and then leaves the room and says to dry off for a couple of minutes. It was the most impersonal experience. The room was also very dark and I couldn't really see the mess she created on my body. So I leave and I'm driving and I look down at my arms and it looks like I have some type of skin issue. It was MAJORLY splotchy, like my entire elbow was white, my armpits and shoulders were white, my feet were like a marble cake lol. And it looked like I had dark freckles all over the areas that were sprayed...I couldn't believe how terrible of a job she did, and I pulled over to a gas station to try and rub out what I could and ended up staining my hands pretty terribly. I shouldn't have had to so that in the first place. So that weekend at the wedding I was attending, I looked like a marble cake with freckles and seriously orange hands and people noticed haha it was embarrassing. I'll leave with these final thoughts.. Don't go here for the first time if you have something important to attend or if you want to look good lol. Peace. read more

This review is for my organic spray tan only. First I'll say this is not my first spray tan. I chose the rapid tan and initially looked really dark and even so I was excited to rinse it off 3 hours later to see the results. I took a warm shower no soap and really only rinsed off. Every bit of color I had came completely off in the shower...I was pretty upset so I called the salon and was promised the tan would come up in 24 hours. I was a bit panicked because I was leaving the next morning at 630am and had no time for a redo of the tan didn't come up like promised. I asked if I could come back in the evening for a redo and was told I could come in but they wouldn't spray me again, really? Then why would I come back in? Guess what? Woke up the next morning NO tan at all nothing. So thanks Bronzed Bunny for taking my $50 and leaving me feeling insecure with no tan for my vacation. read more

Jeni is the best. I'm seriously digging this tan. I absolutely love it. Let me begin by why I went to go get it. Last January, I went whitewater rafting in Costa Rica and ended up with a very strange racerback tan which refused to fade or even out not matter what I did. Normally I wouldn't care but I'm getting married soon and will be wearing a strapless dress. The last thing I want to see in my wedding photos is a nasty tan line so I started doing some research to see what my options were. After looking long and hard, it looked like an airbrush tan would be my best option. I called around a few places but really liked Bronzed Bunny's descriptions and photos and the fact that the color base is organic really sold me. Since I still have some time, I figured I could at least try it out to see if it looked OK. I was hoping for something as natural looking as possible. After all, the worst thing about spray tanning is looking like that girl who spray tanned a little too much... I was able to get a same day appointment and made sure I was ready by exfoliating all over and wore loose, dark clothes so I wouldn't get stains anywhere afterwards. Jeni is very professional but easy to talk to and I was comfortable the entire time she sprayed me. The brown sugar based spray smells absolutely delectable and I actually enjoyed the scent, something I really didn't anticipate. The spray dries very quick and was done evenly. Jeni gave specific instructions on aftercare and I walked out happy with my results. It's been several days and the tan still looks great. I've gotten tons of compliments and look/feel like I just got back from vacation. My racerback tan lines are gone and I'm looking forward to my next appointment. read more

LOVE this place. I am totally new to sugaring, and had only started waxing a couple of months ago when I heard all the craze about sugaring. So I decided to give it a try since I felt so "daring" these days after finally waxing (when I got my first wax I felt like I went skydiving! I was soooo scared but I am sooo glad I finally did it) Anyway, so I made an appointment at the bronzed bunny because I had a lot of girlfriends suggest it and because they had an awesome groupon out. Everything was done through email, which I was slightly frustrated with at first because I wanted to get in that day and didnt think email would be the fastest approach to that, but I was so wrong. I was emailed almost instantly confirming an appointment with Ryan at the Irvine location. Ryan was AMAZING. She is very professional, funny, and outgoing. I was extremely comfortable with her. I think it is very easy for these appointments to be awkward but it wasnt like that at all. I think Ryan made it very easy for me to want to come back and she also gave me tips for my sugaring and future care. The sugaring itself was another experience, it was slightly painful but just as bad as waxing was, however, Ryan pointed out the color of your skin doesnt change at all when you sugar as opposed to waxing, which was definitely cool and obviously better for your skin. All in all, the girls at Bronzed Bunny are very sweet and professional and when you walk in you get a nice tall Bellini Champagne glass, how can you NOT love it? The whole place itself is so cute and girly with awesome decorations and a very chic look. Makes you feel like your at a little boutique getting sugared, NOT a clinic or something. I made an appointment on line 2 wks in advanced to have my eyebrows done. I called the day before to confirm my appointment. I called at about 1pm and nobody answered the phone so I left a message. Since I didn't get a call back, I called at 530pm again when I was informed that Tinela was hurt and my appointment was cancelled and she would have her call me. I received a txt from Tinela apologizing. She stars she was hurt since Wednesday and was in pain. This I understood. Tinela is great at her job and what she does. I just wished they would have called me on Wednesday so I could have found somebody else to do my eyebrows. I feel the office was unprofessional as they didn't call me back to let me know she was unavailable. If I hadn't called I would have drove to an appointment that was canceled without me knowing. And to top it off now I won't be able to find someone with such short notice specially on a weekend. And I'm going on vacation and now I have horrible eyebrows. read more

A GORGEOUS natural spray tan is next to impossible to find. Enter Bronzed Bunny. I LOVED the way it looked. Super dark and brown, not orange! It didn't smell bad and it dried right away. I got it right before going to Vegas and was scared it would rub off all over the hotels white sheets and towels and it didn't! When it started fading it wasn't super obvious like a mystic is. A little pricey and a little hard to find but AWESOME none the less. read more
